What would happen if you put a speedster who can attack before they can be predicted against someone who can predict everything before an attack can ever happen?

It was as if Ivy grew a thousand different arms and managed to stab Lia from a thousand different angles at the exact same time!

She was simply too fast!

This attack alone was so strong that it could have easily injured the version of Lia that was from before reaching rank S in just the first strike!

But this time, things were different; Lia wasn’t the same anymore; she was stronger in almost all aspects.

She was now a proper S-ranker, and her foresight mastery was so overpowered that unlike before, she could now more easily predict all these attacks!

Lia didn’t even need to move a single finger; she manipulated the strings of destiny connected to Ivy to a certain extent and made a ’temporary’ change.

Strings of destiny connect a person to the ’world’; if you make changes in them, you can cause change in the person’s very existence!

Lia changed Ivy’s strings of destiny and made it so that the ’technique’ Ivy used to attack Lia was never learned by Ivy in the first place!

Although the effects of this were temporary, as the strings of destiny would eventually realize that they were interfered with and would return back to their original position, that would take quite a bit of time!
