Unlike Liam, Ellie’s situation was much more delicate and more difficult to deal with.

First Riya had to cleanse the clone body of all of Neo’s blood and traces.

Unlike Liam, who was compatible with Neo’s blood because he was Neo’s son, Ellie was incompatible with that, and the clone had to be completely separated from all of Neo’s influence on it.

Doing this was like hand-picking every single damaged grain of rice out of a massive warehouse filled with rice.

Riya had to track and erase every single cell related to Neo out of the millions and millions of other cells of the body; it was a daunting task even for Riya, who was blessed with a powerful legendary skill.

To accomplish this task, the group had no choice but to help Riya together.

Even Rio decided to first complete this task before starting his own soul-binding task, as it would be pointless to bind Ellie’s soul to a body that was not even compatible with her!

"Just focus on finding and marking the cells; leave elimination to me. Link will lend you his support for mana and calculation and Lia will help you predict the locations faster and more easily..."

Riya nodded her head at Rio’s words and got straight to work with the rest of the team!

With the combined effort of three legendary skills and one pseudo-legendary skill working at full capacity on the same task, progress was made at a rapid pace!

The chance of mistakes happening in this matter was low, as Riya could easily recreate any cells that were mistakenly destroyed despite not being related to Neo with her own healing power.

Even though all four of them worked together, it still took them more than six hours to complete the entire procedure!

Thankfully Raji and Ashtel weren’t back yet, which meant that the heavenly tribulation was still going.

"Phew~ with this... we can finally proceed to the next step!"

Once the cleansing task was completing, the next step was merging Ellie’s dead body with this clone so that the body would have her blood and would become compatible with her soul.

This was another daunting task just like the previous one!

"If not for the fact that Ellie’s body is so horribly damaged from her soul sacrifice that it won’t accept any soul inside anymore... her real body would have been the best option for this..."

Riya shook her head as Link wiped the sweat from her forehead with his handkerchief and handed her a stack of papers.

At Link’s question, Riya shook her head and threw that stack of papers away.

"That thing is garbage! It mocks the very ’law’ of ’life’ and is not something that should even be used in the first place..."

Although Riya was stubborn, she was right.

The method that Neo used to merge dead bodies together to make a perfect clone for himself was not humane at all.

He was actually liquefying all of the thousands of dead corpses and then using a forbidden demonic spell to merge that liquefied paste into a single body!

This was literally the exact same method that demons used to create or summon higher-ranking demons through the sacrifice of innocent people!

The ’Drift City Massacre’ that destroyed Rio’s home was a vivid example of this matter.

In fact, after finding out how these clones were made, Rio was even suspecting that Neo Aldif was also involved either directly or indirectly in the ’Drift City’ incident back then!
