Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 888: God of a New Era, A ’True Anomaly’ is Born!! Part-3.

While the rest of the world was plunged into confusion and overwhelmed by his aura, Rio remained unaware of it all as his entire consciousness was now focused solely on his own ascension.

His body was slowly lifted off the ground by mana and miasma, and a massive cyclone was formed in the blink of an eye!

The Demon King who was standing the closest was the one who felt the most suppressed and overwhelmed by Rio’s aura and was forced to retreat far away.

Rio’s body was lifted into the air higher and higher until he pierced right through the upper atmosphere!

Finally, amidst the gaze of the endless shining stars and with the cooperation of both mana and miasma along with all elementals in the world, Rio ascension began in full swing!

[Ascending to rank SS...]

[Ding! You have ascended beyond the coils of a mortal shell; your entire body has become more accustomed to the usage of energy down to the very atoms!]

[Ding! You have shed the shackles of a mortal life, and your body structure has been enhanced to a new level of lifeform!]

[Ding! By fully mastering your own ’Self’ before ascending and gaining tremendous understanding of your own ’Path,’ you have achieved an unprecedented feat!]

[Ding! You have attained perfect ascension!]

[Ding! From here onwards, there are no limits to your growth, and you exist in parallel with the heavens and earth themselves!]

[Ding! Your Divinity ’Imperfect Sword Heart (SSS+)’ has now become ’Perfect Sword Heart (X)!’]

[Ding! Your technique ’Master Swordsmanship (S++)’ has been upgraded to ’Divine Swordsmanship (SS++)!’]

[Ding! Your technique ’Elemental Sword Art (S++)’ has been upgraded to ’Elemental Dominance (SS++)!’]

[Ding! Your Technique ’Sword Sage’s Enlightenment (S++)’ has been upgraded to ’Sword of Enlightenment (SS++)’!]

[Ding! All of your skills have been upgraded to divine skills and have been greatly upgraded!]

[Ding! You have learned a new skill, ’Teleportation Portal’!]

Having all of his skills and techniques upgraded was the standard upgrade that every advancement gave,

But even Rio was baffled when he saw that his techniques had changed names and had ascended straight to peak SS rank, completely skipping the early, mid, and late stages entirely!

This clearly showed how great Rio’s understanding of the sword had become due to the completion and perfection of his ’Sword Intent,’ ’Sword Body,’ and ’Sword Heart’ happening at the same time!

Just the enhancement brought by these skills alone was enough to make Rio go beyond several levels and reach a new realm!

’Teleportation Portal’ was a standard that all SS-rankers awakened when they ascended and became demi-gods.

It granted its user the ability to teleport anywhere, anytime, as long as they had been to that place and those coordinates once before!

From others’ perspective, this skill was no less than a miracle, but to Rio, who could use the crown of endless realms to teleport to any coordinates, it was pretty tasteless.

[Ding! You have obtained a new title, ’Demi-God of a New Era!’]

[Ding! You have obtained a new title, ’Abomination Incarnate!’]

[Ding! Your title ’Anomaly’ has been upgraded to ’True Anomaly!’]

[Ding! Your title ’Imperfect Supreme Weapon’ has been upgraded to ’Perfect Supreme Weapon’!]

[Ding! Your title ’Bender of Fate and Reality’ has been upgraded to ’Bender of Existence and All Phenomena!’]

[Ding! Your title ’World Order: Herald of Change’ has been upgraded to ’New Order: Herald of Uncertainty’!]

All of Rio’s titles and abilities were refreshed, and his entire aura changed into a new form!

His aura not only became countless times denser but also massive in actual size!

In this moment, Rio felt so much power surge in his body that he felt he could smash a planet into pieces with a single finger and toss a star away with a single flick of a hand!

Rio could see the ’Laws’ of the ’Universe’ and felt like he had gained immense authority and control!

With Rio’s overwhelming aura becoming stronger and stronger, the entire world and all creatures were pressed down to the ground as if forced to worship a newborn god!

Except for Lia Silver, who felt no pressure even when looking directly at the distant shining star in outer space, all beings, entities, and phenomena were forced to bend their knees and kowtow before the greater existence that had manifested itself into reality.

All creatures, be they ordinary beings, demons, awakeners, or all races and creatures, were pressed down by Rio’s overwhelming aura, and even SS-rankers across the globe were forced to bow down on one knee!

The Dragon King, Ashtel Rex, the Demon King, the Elf King, and every other peak SS ranker that existed in this entire solar system or in the realms associated with this solar system felt a chill run down their spine, and they all averted their eyes and bowed their heads!

In that moment and in that instant of time and reality, the ’Laws’ of existence themselves felt helpless against the power of this newborn abomination and came to an abrupt halt.

As the climax of his ascension reached its peak, the moment that Rio had always been looking forward to had finally arrived.

[Ding! You have obtained the ’World Authority: Defect’!]

A huge amount of knowledge about his world authority rushed into Rio’s head, and he immediately realized the reason why he had obtained this authority.

’I see... I am being considered a foreign ’defect,’ so it’s like this... It basically makes me a ’defect’ in all ’laws’ of the world...’

’It’s nice, but I was expecting something better—’

Just when Rio was about to get disappointed, another notification rang in his head.

[Ding! You have obtained the ’World Authority: Eccentric Dream’!]

"What the f*ck!?"

Looking at those two notifications, Rio was so shocked that he couldn’t help but spew out foul language!

Rio looked at the notifications over and over again to check if he had seen wrong, but the information rushing in his head was real, so he soon realized what had happened.

’I awakened two different ’World Authorities’ at the same time!? Is that even possible!?’

[Ding! You have obtained the ’World Authority: True Anomaly’!]

"There’s more!?"
