Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1341: Can’t throw a name

Chapter 1341: Can’t throw a name

Michael’s answer to that was an easy yes. He would never turn down an offer from someone to join the Nation of Reborn.

It was part of his ideals. He believed that people could eventually see the light of day, that they could eventually live the way that Rebornians lived.

He would be nothing but a hypocrite if he turned Theresa’s offer down.

And not only that, but she was very valuable as an ally as well. She had all sorts of information about the Conglomerates and their dealings that Michael wouldn’t otherwise know. She was, after all, the owner of one of the biggest real estate Conglomerates in the entire world!

She was in charge of the properties that Goldstone had in the Royal Continent! This meant that she knew a lot about the properties in this country, as well as the inhabitants inside it.

Of course, once she fully becomes a Rebornian, she would have to surrender that property back to the Goldstone Conglomerates. If she were to keep it and turn them over to the Reborn company, then they would immediately be attacked by the Goldstones in full force.

This kind of property dispute would be an all-out war. They wouldn’t want to give away such a powerful resource to the Reborn company.

So, as much as it was a waste, Theresa would have to come to the Rebornian side without having any ties back to the Goldstone Conglomerate. That’s the only way they were going to let her go without any fuss and problems.

"Welcome aboard," Michael said.

And immediately, Theresa’s shoulders lightened. She was overjoyed by the fact that they could live another day! She didn’t have to worry about watching over her shoulders and worrying about whether her siblings were planning an assassination or not.

Once she gave away the real estate properties under her name, her siblings would immediately crowd over it and fight each other to the bones. That would be their problem now.

It was at this moment that Sheina once again appeared behind Michael. She was like a ghost, always smiling, ever present.

"Miss Theresa. If you would please follow me, we have some business to discuss about your naturalization to become a Rebornian citizen."

Michael introduced Sheina to Theresa, and the two hit it off immediately. It didn’t take long before Theresa put the two and two together and realized who Sheina’s true identity was.

"WAIT! YOU WERE THAT ARCHER!"

Theresa couldn’t believe it! Sheina! The very same demi-human who had won over all the other archers in New Sparta!

But now, she looked human! Theresa immediately started asking Sheina some questions about how she got her skin to be so glowing and perfect.

While all of that was happening, Caliburn approached Michael.

"Ahem... Michael... you know that we’re already allies, aren’t we?"

Michael nodded.

"Well, I was thinking maybe we should also go all the way. I’ve made the executive decision of having the Lionhearts become actual Rebornians."

Seberus, who was watching from the side, couldn’t help but shake his head. "You just want to have that ’system’ in your head as well, don’t you?!"

Caliburn blushed. "Of course I do! But besides that, I have now been truly awakened to the true beauty of Reborn. Such a powerful country, you guys have. It would be a shame for us if we were to not participate in it.

And yes. I believe that we will also benefit greatly from the benefits and perks that a Rebornian soldier would have.

What do you think, Michael? Isn’t it going to be a win-win situation for both of us? You’ll have the entirety of the Lionheart family under your hands! Your army has been bolstered with a new division as powerful as the one you already have. Maybe even more!"

Michael smiled as he saw Caliburn eagerness to become a Rebornian. "How could I say no? You’re the mentor of my Dragonborns."

Caliburn’s eyes burned with fire. "So it’s a yes, then? I’ll spread the good news to my men! Tonight, we’ll be drinking beer till we pass out!"

Watching this, Levi couldn’t help but feel as if everything he’d witnessed up to this point had been a fever dream.

Did he truly just witness the formation of a powerhouse?

After this, what would the Reborn company become? They now had the help of Theresa and her expert knowledge of locations in the Royal Continent. Then, they now have the flaming swords of the Lionhearts.

And what’s scary about it was the fact that those two weren’t just going to be giving their strength to the Reborn company. They’re also going to be getting stronger with it.

Levi could only shiver at the thought of the Lionheart soldiers wielding full-body Mithril Artifact armors, and each one showing powerful and unique skills that would evolve as they got more experience.

It was truly a hair-raising possibility.

Then, there were also the demi-humans. Levi looked around in the Sacred Tree, seeing the Red Mankeys celebrating with the rest of the Rebornian soldiers.

They were a pool of talent unheard of back in the overworld. And from what he saw, their potential didn’t cower even in the faces of the Conglomerates. What could they do with Rebornian resources?

"How about you, young man?" Seberus turned to Levi.

"What?"

"Are you also willing to become a Rebornian?" the Mystic Master asked.

Levi looked down and was in deep thought. Yes, the benefits of being a Rebornian were truly tremendously powerful. But was it enough to shed off his own familial ties?

No.

"For now, I am glad that I am in alliance with the Reborn company. But I cannot become one of them," Levi replied.

"Why not?"

"The Vanderbilt name is not like any other. We are the strongest, richest, and most influential family in the entire world. One does not simply ’shed’ off a name like that so easily. I will not survive a humiliation like that."

Seberus gave a knowing look towards Michael and said, "well, that’s your choice, Vanderbilt."
