Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1441: Attacking territories

Chapter 1441: Attacking territories

Somewhere in the Kings region...

The territories of Reborn could be easily discerned through the large highways that spanned through fields and mountains and different kinds of terrain.

Here, people lived with the comfort and peace that Reborn gave them. They had food, they had electricity, they had running water, they had everything.

But suddenly, someone stepped foot in Angora City.

It created reverberations throughout the entire territory. And immediately, the Maugnetics inside were alerted of an oppressive force trying to take over their space.

But this power, this pulsing force, it was a Nascent Influence. A powerful wave that could not be opposed unless done by another Nascent Spirit cultivator.

And at this moment, Angora City had no Nascent Spirit cultivator. The strongest Maugnetic there was barely at the 9th stage of Body Formation realm.

Everywhere else, the major cities of Reborn were being attacked simultaneously.

Neo Orcus. The town that had been the birthplace of the Shadow Orcs. The place where Reborn sourced their chocolate from, was suddenly inundated with a powerful wave that made people writhe on the ground, as if a massive headache had assaulted their minds.

Batchrock Town. Kingsbridge Town. everything and everywhere, Reborn was being attacked.

It wasn’t long before the sounds of marching echoed through the entire territory.

Each major point, each major nexus of the Reborn company, an army of 100,000 men were deployed. And these men weren’t just soldiers. They were elite warriors born for combat. And not only that, but they were trained and given all sorts of equipments by the Oscorpe Conglomerate!

Their numbers and their skills made them a force to be reckoned with.

And in each of these armies, there was a single person floating above. Donning their Nascent Armor, they looked down at the territories of Reborn and frowned.

The Worcester Company had deployed every single army they had. Including Worcester’s generals.

And his generals numbered ten in total.

Ten Nascent Spirit cultivators. Ten people who could lay waste to an entire civilization and town with a single wave of their fingers.

And added to that the armies that were marching in front of them, it truly looked like they were here to raze the entire Royal Continent and burn it to the ground!

This was the power of a Conglomerate! Worcester didn’t spare anything in this battle against Michael.

After all, he knew that this battle would either end in one of two ways.

Either he kills Michael and destroys Reborn, or he doesn’t.

And in both cases, he would still die. His company was still ruined. He would still have been disowned by his family and left for dead.

After all, this kind of warfare was forbidden for a reason. The Montgomerys had outlawed an outright war because they knew the destruction that a Nascent Spirit cultivator could unleash into the world if they were left alone.

That was why all and any conflicts should be solved through a Sanctum Duel.

Worcester did nothing of the sort. He went straight to the throat. His goal was just to destroy the Reborn company, and nothing else. He didn’t even care about himself nor his generals nor his army who would bear the brunt of this assault in the future.

It didn’t matter. They would fight for him. They would fight for the Ersatz, even if they didn’t know that they were doing so.

...

...

...

The 10th ranked general of the Worcester company looked over the cluster of towns in the outskirts of the Lower Queens region.

He was the lowest ranked general in their army, so he was sent to destroy the weakest territory of Reborn. He detested it. He thought that with his skill, he should be assigned to something bigger. Like Angora City. Or maybe even the Nation of Reborn itself.

But instead, he was stuck here on a very mundane duty.

He looked down at his army of a hundred thousand men. "Destroy everything that has the mark of Reborn!" he shouted to them. "If there is anyone who dares stand in our way, you destroy them too. I’m going to stay here and wait until you’ve done what I’ve asked.’

Donning his Nascent Armor, the 10th ranked general floated in the air and slept.

But it was at this point that he suddenly felt a cold breeze suddenly coming towards him.

He opened his eyes. He felt that there was a powerful opponent somewhere around here!

He immediately scanned the entire area with a very happy expression. Finally, some challenge!

But then, he looked around and saw only a woman in the field.

"Huh?"

He didn’t know if his eyes were playing tricks on him.

"Please... please do not destroy our towns!" Umisu shyly shouted towards the general above her. She couldn’t even look him in the eyes.

"You.. you’re going to oppose me?" the 10th ranked general scoffed. "Really? This is the best that the Reborn company could do? Pathetic!"

Immediately, he charged towards Umisu. But unbeknownst to him, a large storm was gathering above him.

...

...

Meanwhile, in Bathrock Town, chaos reigned as people began to panic. Right outside their gates, there were a hundred thousand soldiers waiting to siege their walls!

The 9th and 8th ranked general stood above the skies. They looked over Batchrock Town and found it to be extremely disappointing.

"This town is abysmal. Why did they send us two here?" the 9th ranked general asked.

"I don’t know. But it’s what Worcester commanded us. So we will do it. Once we’re done with this, we’ll join the other generals," answered the 8th ranked general.

"I doubt they’d need us, but sure."

It was at this point that the people of the Batchrock town began to kneel towards a certain statue in the middle of their city.

"Look at these idiotic people. They’re praying to some kind of metal statue of a woman."

"What kind of religion even is this? It looks like it’s just some kind of cult."
