Chapter 284: Locks

Cassie's throat turned dry as her mind raced with conflicting thoughts… she was wondering what to do in this impossible situation.

She didn't want to do it since this would be her first time and she had a boyfriend too who she loved, however at the same time… she needed to secure her brother's freedom as well as her position in the Guild that she'd worked so hard for.

She had initially planned to use her captain position to raise her boyfriend among the ranks as well and that plan would no longer be possible if she lost her captain position and even after that, her own lover might love her less for not keeping her promise to him about advancing together.

Her brother was imprisoned… Her position was threatened… Her plans were crumbling… All because she'd been stupid enough to challenge this monster.

"I…"

She fell to her knees on the hard floor and bowed her head shamefully, unable to meet his eyes.

"I accept your terms, Master." She said, not daring to look at him in the eyes at all. "Please be gentle with me as it is my first time doing this."

His chair shifted and she closed her eyes tightly, waiting for him to touch her however the sounds of pen writing was what sounded next instead and she looked up at him in confusion to see him signing some documents calmly.

"I'm not interested in you sexually. If you want to help, take a seat and let's do paperwork together." He said with a sigh and she looked very disappointed in herself.

"I still have my position Master…?" She asked while looking up at him from the floor, a part of her womanly pride was annoyed that he hadn't even taken a liking to her despite her beauty, however the other part was grateful that she was left pure for her boyfriend.

"You do, however you won't if you keep kneeling there wasting time." He said and she got to a seat in a flash, he divided the paperwork between both of them evenly. "I want you to sign what you think is needed and reject what you think is not needed… It seems Supreme Man left us with quite a hefty amount of work to deal with."

She took it and looked at the small pile of paperwork in front of her.

"I'll finish up quickly Master." She said, she dared not drop the honorifics lest he actually got angry at her insubordination.

"Good…" He signed another document and put the paper aside into the completed pile. "Slave, do you have a boyfriend?"

Cassie stiffened as she heard the direct question, she hadn't expected that he would find out so easily about her personal life.

"Yes Master. I have a loving boyfriend." She said as she dealt with her own paperwork carefully, she could only hope he didn't have any requests that would make her even more scared than she already was.

"Do you really love this boyfriend of yours…?" He asked as he rejected another document and placed it aside as well, he had dealt with a small pile of paperwork already in the blink of an eye with incredible efficiency.

"Yes, we've been together since before I awakened which has been four years now. I love him very much and can risk my life for him without hesitation."

"And you're sure he loves you the same way back?" He asked casually.

"Absolutely. He loves me very much as well." She said with a confident nod. "Though we haven't done anything intimate together yet… I want to wait until marriage for that."

Lucius's pen stopped moving and then he smirked knowingly before continuing his work.

"Stop talking and focus on your work slave." He said.

This strange feeling similar to last time had surfaced once more within him… he really wanted to take this woman from her loving boyfriend completely. 'Do I find pleasure in cucking people?'

His first victim was Timothy who had a crush on Alexia and his next victim would be this unknown person who hadn't been intimate with his girlfriend of four years… It was a shame for the boyfriend of course, not for him.

He would savor every moment of it and enjoy the corruption.

They worked in silence for the next two hours, only the sound of papers shuffling and pens signing filled the room.

Cassie found herself stealing glances at him occasionally. He was efficient, decisive, and surprisingly knowledgeable about Guild operations despite being so new to the position.

"This budget request is ridiculous," he muttered, rejecting another form. "Supreme Man was bleeding money on unnecessary luxuries."

Cassie nodded in agreement.

Her brother had been terrible with finances and always spending on flashy things to maintain his image rather than investing in the Guild's actual operations.

"Master, may I ask you something?" she said quietly.

"What is it?"

"Why did you spare me earlier? You could have… done what you wanted."

Lucius looked up at her. "I don't force myself on unwilling women, slave. That's your brother's behavior, not mine. I prefer my women to come to me willingly."

"Besides," he continued, "you're more useful to me as a competent captain than as a one-time conquest. Your brother left this Guild in shambles. I need people who can actually do their jobs."

Cassie felt an odd mixture of relief and disappointment. She should be grateful, she knew, but part of her wondered if he found her unattractive.

"Finish those last three forms," Lucius said, standing and stretching. "Then we're done for tonight."

"Okay, this place will be locked up until tomorrow morning for security." He said as they exited the front door, surrounding the whole building were official awakened from the council and they would be looking after the place through the night. "I want you to open up at 5am sharp and prepare everything… I'll need to give a welcoming speech to the entire Guild. So many things to do."

Cassie nodded attentively, putting aside that her brother was locked up because of him…

Lucius was a really splendid person to talk to and he had even given her relationship tips that he used for his own women during their paperwork session.

Things like showing appreciation, spending quality time together, and being honest about feelings.

Practical advice that showed he genuinely cared about maintaining good relationships with his partners.

'He really is kind underneath that cruel exterior.' The gate suddenly opened and Cassie's eyes widened as the most majestic beast-kin woman she had ever seen entered the compound… she was a wolf-kin with beautiful blond hair as well as cute ears and a fluffy tail behind her.

"Master, I came to pick you up from work as requested by Lady Selene." She said as her tail wagged energetically, her Master looked really handsome in those formal clothes though she couldn't help but wonder who this woman next to him was… with the way she lowered herself respectfully, Lilliane couldn't help but think this woman was a fellow servant like her.

"Thank you, Lily." He said as he pat her head gently between her ears and she warmed up immediately, leaning into his touch.

"Did Master give me a nickname…?" Her tail swung around happily behind her, moving so fast it was almost a blur.

"Do you not like it? I think Lily is a nice nam-"

"I love it Master!" She said as she leaned warmed into his hand affectionately, her eyes shining. "I'm your Lily from now on…"

"Good, take me to the car now." He said and Lilliane led him out of the compound enthusiastically, her tail still wagging, now it was only Cassie remaining alone at the entrance and she blinked in confusion.

"What just happened…?" she muttered to herself, watching them leave.

She stood there for a moment, processing everything that had occurred today. She'd challenged her new Guild Leader to a fight, been utterly destroyed, agreed to become his slave, prepared herself for the worst, and ended up… doing paperwork.

And somehow, despite everything, she didn't hate him. In fact, she was starting to understand why so many women surrounded him.

Cassie shook her head and headed home. She had a long day ahead of her tomorrow, and she needed to figure out how to explain all of this to her boyfriend.

The car was driven by another one of the maids from the mansion, it was the luxury vehicle that he had wanted them to pick up from the dealership… it seemed Vanessa had already told one of them to pick it up so there wasn't any stress on him anymore about transportation.

It pulled to a complete stop in front of the gates of their luxury mansion in the rich neighborhood and the gates parted automatically with a quiet hum, letting the maid drive it smoothly into the spacious garage where several other luxury vehicles were already parked.

"Thank you for picking this up." He told the maid as she offered the car key to him with a respectful bow, her hands trembling slightly.

"No need to thank me Master…" She was facing the ground so Lucius could not see her red face clearly. "I'm just grateful to sit down where you usually sit and hold the key you usually hold… it was an honor to be trusted with this."

With that she ran off quickly, making Lucius sigh heavily in exasperation. It seems the maids were smitten with him as well… it was to be expected with his very good charms and natural charisma that seemed to affect everyone.

"Lilliane, do you know how to do dreadlocks?" He asked, his hair was really long now. It was time to do the style he wanted with it… since he was going to give an Opening speech tomorrow to the entire Guild, he wanted to have a good style as well to impress everyone and establish his authority.

"Dreadlocks?" She asked while biting her cheeks innocently.

She didn't know what that term meant however she knew someone that would know the answer… "Master, can I answer this question later? I need to go and check something quickly before it's too late."

"Okay then, I'll go ask the other girls about it." He said, hoping amongst all of the girls in the mansion… he could find someone to give him good dreadlocks professionally as she ran off eagerly to research.

His hair was pretty grown this time compared to his previous life, in his past life, it hadn't been so long and even if he had done them back then, it would only be enough for starter locks at best.

He took a sigh and then with a flick of his finger, the weighty Guild Leader clothes vanished into his spatial storage.

He was at home and didn't want to be bothered with any of this work stuff right now.

"Can't I just rest between Selene or Vanessa's breasts and calm myself… the paperwork was too much stress for one day." He let out a tired sigh as he walked to the front door.

His wish was granted perfectly… right now he laid on the comfortable couch with his head propped in a way that his head was rested clearly between Selene's soft breasts that were pushing against him while Vanessa had his legs on her lap giving him a relaxing massage.

"You want locs for tomorrow morning?" Selene asked while wearing comfortable casual clothes, she had gotten used to the mansion and was now wearing casual clothes instead of her formal outfits. "Speaking of which, I have to check out the new Guild building the Aurelia government provided for us… Meh, I'll come with you tomorrow to see your Guild."

"You don't need to come." Lucius said, what would she say if she saw him bullying Cassie?

Suddenly Vanessa twisted one of his toes deliberately and it let out a crack. Lucius groaned a bit in pain.

"Well if you need the Locs prepared properly, I can call in one of my friends from Avalon. She's helped me do some before…" Vanessa replied while bringing out her phone and showing both of them a picture of herself.

"You look so cut-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence." She blushed as she cracked another toe in warning.

"Ow ow ow… however those aren't the kind of ones I want." He said while looking at the style. "However if she can do them, then you can call her ov-"

"Master!" Lilliane called as she ran downstairs excitedly with quick steps and behind her was Elara who had a cloth like what covered a showglass draped carefully on her head. "I have mastered the locks technique you talked about Master!"

"It's only been an hour since you left." Lucius said in surprise, sitting up from Selene's comfortable chest. "You don't need to rush-"

She let loose of the cloth on Elara's head dramatically with a flourish and revealed the girl who originally had long blond lengthy hair now had beautiful locks which made her look even more beautiful than before.

It accentuated her delicate face in a way that Lucius didn't know it needed and he sat up immediately from the couch, looking at Lilliane with the most serious gaze he had managed since his reincarnation into this world.

"Do me too right now…"

"Right this way Master, I'll make you an even finer gentleman than you already are." She said proudly as she led Lucius away toward the stairs, however as he passed by Elara, he made sure to give her a playful spank on the butt.

That made all four girls in the room, including the maids in the far corner blush as Elara gave a surprised blush and turned to face him quickly.

"Master-"

"Cute." He gave her a kiss on the forehead affectionately and was effectively dragged away by Lilliane eagerly, leaving the three girls in the living room.

Selene gave a long sigh as she watched them go.

"It seems I'll have Lilliane do my hair afterwards as well." She said, touching her silver hair.

"Me too." Vanessa said with a puff on her cheeks however Elara raised her hands in surrender innocently.

"I didn't do anything wrong to deserve this attention…"

"I think you should protect yourself right now." Vanessa suggested ominously as Emilia ran down the stairs at full speed and pounced in Elara's general direction while her hands made squeezy signs mid-air aimed at her chest.

Elara dodged it skillfully with practiced ease and Emilia landed on someone else instead behind her.

Her hands were around round perky breasts, she looked up slowly to see Selene staring at her with scary glowing eyes as she slowly removed her hand.

"S… orry?"

There were screams that sounded after followed with the powerful blast of moon mana that lit up the room.

An hour later, Lilliane patted Lucius's hair with a brush carefully and leaned away with satisfaction, allowing the handsome young man to look into the mirror and admire himself properly with a critical eye.

The locks were perfect.

They framed his face in a way that made him look more mature, more powerful, and even more... commanding. This was exactly the image he wanted to project as the new Guild Leader.

"Master, do you like it…?" She asked as her tail wagged slowly hopefully behind her, he was currently looking at himself in the mirror intently studying every detail.

"Like it?" He asked as he leaned forward and gave Lilliane a kiss on her forehead affectionately, making the girl redden completely from her cheeks to her ears. "I really love it Lily… Thanks, I'm sorry you had to learn this because of me on such short notice."

"No Master, please don't be sorry at all. I learned it to help you out and I'm glad you like it so much…" She said as she looked into his eyes warmly, her tail wagging faster now.

However Freya sighed heavily from her desk across the room.

"Papa… you're distracting me from my studying." She said, this was her room since it had a full-length mirror and Lilliane had been helping her set up for school tomorrow until she suddenly left to pick Lucius up and came back with this crazy idea to watch a V-tube video on how to make locks.

It worked out in the end though. Papa looked handsome.

Lucius walked over to her and patted her on the head gently with a smile.

"Alright champ, it's an important day for the both of us tomorrow… just remember no matter what happens at school, if any boy comes close to you with any sort of romantic intentions whatsoever… kick him in the damn balls!" Lucius said seriously and she gave him a determined salute.

"Yes Papa! I'll protect myself from all the boys!" Freya said with determination in her eyes.
