Chapter 291: Cucking The Protagonist [I]

"Okay, so the waiters that said you've been waiting here for the past 40 minutes are lying…?" He raised an eyebrow and picked up the menu while she stuttered.

"Whatever, let's not let it ruin the date." He said while a waiter came over and bowed at them respectfully.

"Sir Lucius and Madam Lily…It's been a long time since you came here. I'll be glad to receive both of you once more… please take your orders." He spoke and both of them lifted their menus up.

The restaurant was as elegant as she remembered… It had soft golden lighting from crystal chandeliers, classical piano music playing softly, and the sweet aroma of fresh pastries wafting from the kitchen.

The air was cool, and she could smell Lucius's cologne… it was something woody and expensive.

Lily looked at her menu but she was drawn to Lucius's face… he was more handsome than the last time they had been here together which was years ago, and he had been the one constantly giving her looks of affection and adoration, now she was the one looking at him desperately.

The waiter immediately nodded and turned to head to the VIP kitchen, she was grateful that her and Elliot hadn't gone on dates here yet…

It would be a turn-off to Lucius if the waiter had asked her whether it was the custom Lucius head cookies or Elliot head cookies.

She was able to break off their engagement to get with Elliot, however suddenly as he became relevant and powerful… she was trying to act like she'd been waiting for him.

"I see… even though you have Elliot who is very loving?" He raised an eyebrow and her breath hitched once more.

"Elliot… Elliot…" Elliot had been ghosting her at first and she loved the treatment of being pursued but he warmed up and became an excellent fiancée once he started trusting her, but was it too much to ask that he ghost her once in a while? Or be angry with her for no reason…?

The waiter chuckled and walked off.

"Please call me if you need me with the bell at your table." He said while going downstairs leaving them alone at the Top floor.

Lucius reached out for the cookie, it did look like him.

"Give me your phone and open up." He said and she opened her phone for him… he was going to feed her the cookie and get it on camera.

On the top, a notification popped up and Elliot had asked her: "How is the interview going?"

"You told him you were going for an interview?" He asked while tapping on the message, he was going to leave him on read deliberately.

"Y-yes." She said shyly and he chuckled darkly before feeding her the cookie, she ate it and swallowed… it was much more sweeter when Lucius fed it to her personally, however Lucius thrusted a finger into her cute mouth. "Mmph."

The waiter nodded professionally and promised they'd be ready within the hour. The rest of their meal was eaten in relative silence, though Lucius could feel her eyes on him constantly.

She was already completely under his control, he could see it in the way she hung on his every word and the way she trembled when he looked at her.

'This is almost too easy,' He thought. 'Elliot really has no idea what kind of woman he's engaged to.'

They finished their desserts and while Lucius savored every bite, she could barely eat. When the waiter brought the packaged cookies, Lucius stood.

"Let's go."

They wore disguises and took a cab which took them to the hotel… Lucius didn't even touch her through the whole ride which made her bite her lips and as they arrived at the hotel, her phone buzzed.

It was Elliot… but she didn't look.

She checked in under a false name while Lucius teleported to the room, her hand trembled as she used the key card.

Inside, water was running so she sat on the bed and waited.

The hotel room was opulent with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, a king-sized bed with silk sheets, and a bathroom that looked palatial.

Now the camera was in landscape and was focused on her and Lucius looked at her as his eyes twitched.

She pulled the blouse off and folded it carefully which was a nervous habit, before reaching behind to unclasp her bra.
