His two elder brothers had moved to live at the factory after getting married, leaving only him and his sister at home. Since his sister was a girl, it was inconvenient for her to handle certain things.
He was very candid in sharing this with Xinyan, which made him uneasy, fearing that the young master would worry about him sneaking off during work hours.
Xinyan, observing his expression, didn’t immediately give him an answer but asked a few more questions before telling the three, "Go back and wait for notification. By the day after tomorrow at the latest, you’ll definitely get a final word."
After they left, another group arrived, but among them, only one caught Xinyan’s eye. The others immediately inquired about salary and benefits and looked at her with an ambiguous expression, possibly because of her young age.
There was no way Xinyan could hire such people; it would only lead to more trouble for herself.
After seeing off the last person, Xinyan wrote down the names of the first three and the promising-looking young man from the last group.
Then she turned to Chen Manjuan, "Aunt Man, can you discreetly find out about these people’s characters?"
Chen Manjuan took the paper and glanced at the names, "Okay."
She thought to herself, despite Xinyan’s young age, she had a sharp eye for people. She didn’t know the last one, but she sure had heard gossip about the first three.
