Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1950 - 1944: Chu Mengze Turns Into The Second Son

Chapter 1950: Chapter 1944: Chu Mengze Turns Into The Second Son

Qin Xue watched as Chu Mengze turned from the eldest son into the second son, and Chu Nanchun from the second son to the third. She just smiled; as long as they understood what was happening in their hearts, it was fine.

Qin Xue carefully put away the household registration book and other documents into her bag, then stepped out of the police station’s gate. Looking at the morning sun, she felt relieved; everything went smoothly today. Now, she would first go to check on the storefront, whether renting or buying, she must first find a location, and at noon, meet up with Yingying for lunch.

With her itinerary planned, Qin Xue began to busy herself with her plan. Her current role was to be the supportive wife behind Chu Molin.

"Qin Xue, when did you come back?" An Hao was almost in disbelief when she saw Qin Xue.𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"We returned the day before yesterday. We’ve been busy with family matters these past two days, so I haven’t had a chance to come see you. How’s business?" Initially, Qin Xue didn’t find any suitable shop after visiting several, so she ended up at An Hao’s store.

"Not bad. You know the bridal business is still in its early stages, so it’s neither good nor bad," An Hao laughed, without any strong feelings about it. She knew business takes time to develop, and just one deal can last her a long time. Although the bridal business isn’t particularly profitable, there are plenty of makeup appointments. She’s busy throughout the day, so her business is doing quite well.

Since people don’t get married every day, but makeup is a daily thing, An Hao was very open-minded about their complementary nature.

"That’s for sure. No one gets married every day, but the location here has a lot of foot traffic, so business should be good," Qin Xue looked at the store’s location and its arrangement, nodding in affirmation.

No matter how poorly business might be, it wouldn’t be too bad, and in this line, one sale could drive many more. Once her reputation spreads, business will come pouring in.

"I think the same. You didn’t just come to see me, did you?" An Hao asserted.

"Yes, I have some other things, and coming here was more incidental. I didn’t even know if you’d be at the store, so I was just taking a chance," Qin Xue didn’t deny it. She even thought An Hao might be at home with her child.

"Haha, you really aren’t tactful at all. Aren’t you afraid of hurting my feelings?" An Hao poured a cup of water for Qin Xue.

"You’re not someone to be hurt easily; I’m not afraid." Qin Xue laughed. She knew well what An Hao’s character was like. On the surface, she seemed extremely pure, even in their company, but the poised, sharp-eyed woman Qin Xue first noticed was An Hao’s true nature.

It’s just that she’s been so pampered by many people, without having to worry about anything, so among friends and relatives, she reveals her true self to them.

Qin Xue believed that outside of the places they knew, An Hao wasn’t like this; otherwise, she would have been bullied terribly.

It’s simply because An Hao wants to be this way, so Qin Xue didn’t expose her. Every woman has a little princess inside, wishing to live carefree, so it’s not bad that An Hao has the condition to do so.

However, looking at An Hao now, she has changed significantly from before. Did something happen after returning to prompt such a transformation?

Something must have forced her to revert back to her true self. Otherwise, the seamless facade she maintained wouldn’t have changed.
