Chapter 2074 - 2068: Small Gains, Big Profits
Chapter 2074: Chapter 2068: Small Gains, Big Profits
Chu Xiaoqiao felt that people’s hearts are indeed quite peculiar. Sometimes just a small benefit can earn a long-term customer. So now, when she’s weighing vegetables for customers, she sometimes rounds off the amount. As a result, the customer who received this little benefit would bring others to buy pickles from her home. And these new customers would bring yet others. Through word of mouth, her family finally had a steady stream of returning customers. Even a similar-sized store opened nearby could not steal their customer base.
That’s why Chu Xiaoqiao told Chu Molin not to worry too much, hoping he’d not fuss over a tiny price difference.
Why say this? It’s because Chu Molin is not aware of the prices. If he were to sell, he’d sell at the lowest price. This way, the buyers would get a bargain and would come again next time.
Moreover, familiar buyers already know the prices and wouldn’t try to take advantage of them.
If Chu Molin knew what his sister was thinking, who knows how he would react. But Chu Molin just listens, and when customers come, he still calls Chu Xiaoqiao.
So all that Chu Xiaoqiao said was in vain. Who knows whether Chu Xiaoqiao will sigh at her brother’s inflexibility?
"Hurry up and call someone." Chu Molin was a bit impatient. He was worried about his wife; he had no mind to linger here.
"Got it, brother, did you eat explosives today?" As Chu Xiaoqiao walked past Chu Molin, she tossed back a comment that left him unsure whether to laugh or cry.
"What do you think?" Chu Molin retorted.
"Uh, I’ll just go call someone." Chu Xiaoqiao thought her brother wouldn’t answer, but who knew he’d say something like that? It startled her, her heart pounding uncontrollably.
"So slow." Chu Molin finally heard his sister’s words. After all this talk, she was still here; really too slow.
"Brother, I’d really like to know how sister-in-law gets along with you." As Chu Xiaoqiao reached the door, she loudly posed a question, but after asking, she left, afraid her brother would finish her off.
When Chu Molin heard his sister’s question, he thought of how he usually interacted with Qin Xue. He wondered if he had become a different person. Could he really be that gentle sometimes? Moreover, he didn’t think there was anything wrong with being that way.
But when dealing with others, if he had to use that demeanor, he might just lose it, and others were simply not lucky enough to experience his gentleness.
Seeing that Chu Xiaoqiao was out of sight, Chu Molin quietly pondered over his own matters. But what exactly he was thinking was a bit confusing to him, something he had never experienced before.
"Dad." The kids came down and saw Chu Molin standing there, staring at a wall, lost in thought.
"You’re down. Let’s go home." Chu Molin’s thoughts were interrupted, and he turned to the kids and said.
"Okay." The kids had played for most of the day and were ready to head home for a nap. But where was mom?
"Dad, where’s mom?" Yu Ze asked, not seeing their mother and wondering where she had gone.
"She went to see a patient. I’m here to take you home. You’ll see her when you get home." Chu Molin wasn’t sure if Qin Xue had returned, but she said she would come home after seeing the patient and wouldn’t return to the shop.
"Okay, let’s go home then." Upon hearing that mom was out seeing a patient, Yu Ze just wanted to make sure she wasn’t in danger.
