Adam looks at Danny and decides to help him out. What’s a better way to improve your friendship with someone other than getting them laid?
And Adam doesn’t think it would be that hard a job to do, given who Danny is.
But first, Adam needs to know and understand Danny and his relationship with Olivia.
"Tell me this first: are you still a virgin?" Adam asks.
Hearing his question, Danny feels a little embarrassed. He can only smile awkwardly while rubbing the back of his neck.
"There is nothing to be embarrassed about. There are people out there who are in their 40s and still a virgin; you are just eighteen years old, it’s a perfect age," Adam says, dismissing his worries.
"So, tell me this, how does this Olivia treat you?" Adam asks.
Hearing Adam’s question, Danny begins going through his memories, trying to remember all his interactions with Olivia.
"Well, she’s not very talkative around me. Most of the time I am the one doing the talking. All she does is stay silent or scroll through her phone," Danny says.
Hearing this, Adam realizes that the power dynamic between Danny and Olivia might be more drastic than he expected, but still, he is not worried, because this power dynamic that Olivia has created is too brittle; it can’t exist if Danny doesn’t allow it to exist.
"How about when you are not together? How is she during calls and texts?" Adam asks.
"We don’t really talk that much on the phone, but we do text, sometimes she sends me spicy pics when I ask," He says, grinning.
"Show me the texts," Adam says, asking Danny for his phone.
Danny doesn’t hesitate; he unlocks his phone and opens the chat between him and Olivia.
Adam begins scrolling through their texts; it’s mostly Danny who’s texting, and Olivia replying with one word, maybe two.
After scrolling for a few seconds, Adam does come across a sexy picture just like Danny said, but it’s a picture of Olivia in her underwear.
Given how good-looking she is, Adam won’t be surprised if Olivia posts similar pictures of herself on her fastgram account.
So even these spicy pictures are not worth it in Adam’s opinion.
Adam’s eyes begin to twitch as he glances through these messages. He is getting bored just glancing at them. The girl doesn’t even bother answering Danny properly.
Her answers are just one word most of the time, rarely does she reply with more than one, and sometimes she takes it a step further by only answering back with a single letter.
Reading through these messages, Adam starts feeling offended on Danny.
He turns his head to look at Danny and wonders how one can be so blind. Danny’s the one who should be holding all the power, given his status, but it’s the other way around.
And Olivia is doing everything to make sure Danny is starving for her attention.
Adam sighs, even though this shouldn’t be happening, Adam’s not surprised.
Given the isolated life that Danny has lived until now, Adam can’t blame Danny for being oblivious to the vicious mental games that some women play to hold power over their partners.
Olivia has done a fine job making sure that Danny gets enough for her to be in his life, but not give him what he wants.
Adam needs to break this power dynamic and watch everything Olivia built crumble, and it won’t be hard, because Olivia really has nothing that allows her to hold this power she has over Danny.
The moment he fights back, it’s over for her.
"What is it?" Danny asks as he sees Adam looking at him.
"She is trying to play you, and you are letting her," Adam says.
"I don’t know what you are saying." Danny says, confused.
"She is feeling too breadcrumbs to keep your interest, then giving you the cold shoulder whenever you try to get more out of her. And just when you think about pulling away, she tries to reel you back by acting sweet and loving towards you.
Those hand jobs that she gives you are just that. Giving you crumbs while making sure to receive all the benefits that come from dating a billionaire’s son," Adam explains to Danny.
Danny’s eyes flicker as it looks like he is coming to an understanding about his situation.
"If you want more from her, you need to shift the power dynamic between you two. Right now, she is the one who’s dictating everything that’s happening in this relationship of yours. It needs to be the other way around. You need to hold power over her," Adam says.
"And how do I do that?" Danny asks.
"Stop giving her attention. You are coming off too desperate, and she can smell it. She knows what you want from her, and she is holding it against you to make you do things for her without giving you what you want.
To shift the dynamic, just stop doing whatever you are doing.
You need to understand this. You are Danny Coronant, son of a billionaire; you don’t need to put any effort into this at all. It’s these girls who need to prove their worth to you.

Adam’s words sound like gospel to Danny, even though it’s common sense. Adam’s just surprised that it had to be spoken by someone else for Danny to realize.
’Maybe, he’s a little slow...’ Adam thinks, but as he stares at Danny for a few more seconds, he changes his view. ’Not maybe... He’s definitely a little slow,’ Adam thinks and nods.
"But isn’t it wrong?" Danny suddenly asks.
"What’s wrong?" Adam asks back, confused.
"To use my powers for my own benefit," Danny says.
For a second, Adam gets stun locked by Danny’s words. For as loud and showy as Danny is, he turns out to be just as innocent when it comes to living in the real world.
The reason he tries to show off is that he wants attention, but that’s all there is to him.
"Where did you hear this?" Adam asks.
"You know, all those superhero comic books. How they use their powers for others and never for themselves," Danny says.
Adam stares at Danny, stunned. He then sighs as everything starts making sense to Adam.
Being isolated, Danny grew up reading stories, deriving life lessons from them, and even though the messages in those stories are morally correct and good in nature, they can’t be applied personally to oneself, especially in a cutthroat world that is reality.
No wonder he is getting bullied and used by others.
"Look, Danny, sure, those values are good to have, but it’s not all right. Those are stories. We live in a real world where people are not so great. Your priority should be yourself and your needs, and once they are fulfilled, you can help others," Adam says.
"Oh, so that’s how it is," Danny says.
"Okay, now that you understand that it is you who holds all the power, you need to start using it. Make sure to tell what you want instead of asking," Adam says.
"But what about consent?" Danny asks.
"Yes, consent is necessary, but if she doesn’t give consent, then you move on. "Yes, exactly like that. I came here to borrow a car from you, but now, you can meet me there and bring Olivia along with you.
