Reincarnated With A Glitched System: Why Is My MP Not Running Out?

Chapter 2082: The Three Dragons of Extinction

Chapter 2082: The Three Dragons of Extinction

-----

"The Three Dragons of Extinction... and the Little Town Hero," he muttered in disbelief. Creatures from a mere fairy tale his friend once read had manifested as these monsters. "Flamie... is it really you behind this?! No... that cannot be. You died!"

Tears stung his eyes as the three dragons stepped forward. Though they were dragons, they were not particularly large. Yet they radiated immense, tightly compressed power—wide wings, sharp claws, and proud horns.

They were named for the number of horns on their heads.

One Horn, the Sad One, always wore a sorrowful expression and cried easily. He wielded a freezing Ice Breath.

Two Horns, the Temperamental One, constantly burned with fury, his body blazing red with rage. He possessed a searing Fire Breath.

And finally, Three Horns, the Jealous One, envied humans and everything they possessed—things the siblings could never have. He commanded a devouring Shadow Breath.

"We will bring extinction to humans."

"Because that is what our master demands."

"And once we do, this world... will finally belong to us!"

The three dragons roared in unison and charged forward, shattering the ground beneath them. They reached Allan first and swarmed him in a brutal assault.

"ALLAN!!!"

"Wait, what?!"

Faylen and Shade stared in shock as the three monsters—each nearing Tier 11—attacked Allan at his weakest moment.

The hero gasped as their punches hammered him into the earth with enough force to crush bones and tear muscle.

"This is the sorrow of our kind!!!" roared One Horn. His freezing fists encased Allan’s body in ice before shattering the frozen pieces.

"This is the anger of our kind!!!" howled Two Horns. His blazing fists charred Allan’s flesh and seared his skin without mercy.

"And this is for everything you’ve taken from us—for everything we were denied, you damn humans!!!" roared Three Horns. His punches channeled black curses that ripped through Allan’s entire being.

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

"Nnnggh?! Aaahhh! F-Flamie..."

Allan’s strength faltered. Even though he knew these were not truly Flamie, they were twisted recreations drawn from that old fairy tale—monsters born from the little dragon’s own memories and dreams, corrupted into weapons meant to slaughter humans by whatever had overtaken what remained of him.

"DIE, HUMAN HERO!!!"

The three roared together. Their combined power forged a colossal dragon of ice, fire, and shadow that pierced Allan’s chest. The impact sent him hurtling through the sky, crashing through three mountains before he slammed into a massive burning crater. His body was battered, crushed, and torn apart.

BOOOOMMM!!!

"ALLAN! NOO!"

Faylen panicked for the first time. She clenched her teeth and teleported toward him, but the dragons intercepted her midway, warping space with their combined mastery of Dimensional Dominion.

"You cannot escape."

"Elf!"

"Extinction comes for all!"

"FACE OUR COMBINED FURY!!!"

Faylen tried to teleport away, but the distorted space trapped her. Their three elemental breaths struck her at once, hurling her into the ground. Black void surged across the battlefield like endless spiders eager to seize her.

"Damn it!!!"

Faylen’s aura exploded. Her true Spirit Aura surged forth as a pillar of white light and holy golden flames. Blood streamed from her forehead and body, yet she roared through clenched teeth and manifested a titanic sword of light.

"You think I cannot fight like my husband?! I simply choose not to, because it does not interest me! But this time, I will humor you!"

Thousands of chains erupted across the field, wrapping around all three dragons and slamming them into the ground. She followed with her massive sword of pure magic, slashing and smashing their bodies relentlessly.

"STRONG!"

"INDEED!"

"BUT... WE ARE STRONGER!"

The trio roared as one, their auras fusing as they charged. One Horn struck her head, Two Horns kicked her back, and Three Horns unleashed a blast of shadow magic that began consuming her light.

"NNNGGGHH!" Faylen clenched her teeth in fury. "ALLAN! STOP BEING A FOOL AND HELP ME!!!" She swung her sword in a desperate clash against the three dragons, her barriers shattering as she poured every ounce of mana into reinforcing her body to its absolute limits.

Her voice echoed through the warped dungeon. Shade had already slipped away at her command, racing to find Allan.

"Allan!"

He found his friend lying in a giant crater at the center of an evaporated lake, three shattered mountains looming around him. Giant spiders swarmed over his body, biting and trying to devour him.

"BEGONE!!!"

Shade roared. His shadow aura exploded into thousands of specters that tore through everything in their path.

"Allan!"

He reached his friend, who lay staring blankly at the sky.

"Snap out of it! Your wife needs you!"

"Ah... Shade..."

"ENOUGH!"

Amid the swarm of biting insects, Shade drove a powerful punch into Allan’s head.

"SNAP OUT OF IT, SHITHEAD!"

"...!!!"

Allan gasped. The suffocating dread shattered as his phoenix flames ignited across his torn body. His wounds began to regenerate while memories of his family and friends flooded his mind.

"What the hell am I doing?"

He rose to his feet, faced the endless swarm, and swung his sword forward with all his fury. He fused with every spirit and familiar before layering his divine power on top.

"Sorry, Shade!"

SLAAASH!

A blinding slash of white flames erupted, splitting the dungeon in half. Every critter caught in the blaze burned in agony before vanishing.

"Let’s go!"

The two friends nodded and rushed back toward the battle. They arrived to find the dragons slowly overpowering Faylen, suppressing her movement and magic until she was forced to fight with her bare body and magical constructs.

"FAYLEN!!!"

Allan descended like a white phoenix, crashing into the ground and sending the three dragons flying as flames erupted everywhere.

"A-Allan... you idiot..."

Faylen cried as he held her close. His phoenix flames rapidly healed her wounds and restored her full power.

"I’m sorry. It won’t happen again."

RUMBLE!

Shade landed behind the stunned dragons. His shadow and assassination techniques unleashed in a deadly flurry, covering their bodies with dozens of poisoned and paralyzing strikes.

"Guaaaaahh!"

"W-Wha...?!"

"Impossibleeeee!"

As the dragons writhed in agony, Faylen and Allan powered up once more. Allan shared his strength with her, awakening a new power that resonated deeply with her own.

Suddenly, both gained radiant white, heavenly phoenix-like traits, overflowing with almighty divine power.
