I finally received the opportunity to meet Ninhursag again after all these years, and of course I felt overjoyed to see her once more. One part of me celebrated the chance to look upon this radiant beauty again, while another part loved her deeply as family. I felt truly glad she had returned, and she appeared even stronger and prettier than ever before.

I thanked her sincerely for guiding my friends and helping them grow so much stronger over the past few years. Honestly, the amount of progress they had made was amazing to witness.

"Ah, that is mostly on them! Hah!" Ninhursag laughed warmly as she pulled me into a tight hug, lifting me off the ground with ease and placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. "I was very worried about you! Just when we finally arrived here, you suddenly fell unconscious..."

"I am sorry," I apologized, feeling a little embarrassed. "A lot happened after everything, but I am fine now! Please do not worry!"

"Hah, I hope so," she nodded with a soft smile. "Zack and Luck went through the trial of my family and managed to inherit part of my lost bloodline. It seems my ancestors have accepted them as fitting descendants to continue the traditions and arts of my lineage. As the last of my kind, I suppose that is good enough."

"Well, have you ever thought about having a child of your own?" I wondered aloud.

"I have been trying to find a fitting man, but..." Ninhursag sighed quietly. "It is hard to find a good man who would be willing to learn about my culture and help me continue my family's legacy..."

"I-I guess I did not take that into consideration..." I nodded slowly.

Well, if I had been born as a man I would not have even hesitated for a second. What was wrong with the men out there? How could anyone feel afraid of such a beautiful and kindhearted woman?

After she carefully set me back down on the floor, Ninhursag blushed a little.

"Well, I have found a right man, but I suppose... he does not like women," she sighed, her eyes drifting toward Uncle Arafunn who had just walked into the room looking rather tired.

"Ah! Sylphy! Well, would you look at that! You are finally awake," he said, greeting me with a kind and relaxed smile before leaning down to kiss my forehead. "How was that two week nap, huh?"

"Uncle!" I happily hugged him tightly, and he laughed a little as I clung to him. "I missed you!"

"Hahah, I have to say, I did miss you a little too, just a little," he laughed while pinching my cheek gently. "Well, you have grown! Though... not enough?"

"Hey!" I bit his long ear in protest. "I am a grown adult!"

"Hahaha! Well, do grown adults bite like this? Ow! H-Hey, do not bite too hard!" he cried out in exaggerated pain.

"Sorry," I sighed, releasing him. "I just do not like being teased about my height!"

"Noted," he nodded with a playful grin. "My apologies, oh great princess of the Elven Kingdom of Naturia! Now, to more important matters. Life! How has life been treating you? Ah, let me guess, you are a goddess now or something."

"Maaaybe," I shrugged with a small smile. "Kind of not really... it is complicated, but I have reversed into... uh, a smaller, energy-saving form."

"I can tell," he nodded knowingly.

"Hey!" I smacked the top of his head, though the blow did not hurt him at all.

"Hahaha!" he laughed freely. "Well, with those wings of yours, maybe we can take to the skies together and have a nice picnic above the clouds! It is nice up there."

"Y-Yeah, maybe one day..." I replied, though I did not really feel eager to do that. "Anyway..."

I looked back at Ninhursag and noticed she was still blushing a little.

Huh?

Wait a second. Does she have a crush on my uncle?!

This is really not good... Uncle is seriously the gayest man alive. Why did she even fall for him of all people?

I facepalmed for a moment, which made Uncle tilt his head in confusion.

"Sylphy? Dear?" he asked with mild concern.

"N-Nothing, never mind..." I forced a smile onto my face. "Uncle, you should try to be less flirty with people, you know?"

"H-Huh?!" he gasped, looking genuinely startled. "W-Why are you even saying that out of nowhere?!"

"N-Nothing!" I said quickly, looking elsewhere. "Aaaaaaanyway, where are Celeste and Celica at?"

"They went to buy groceries!" Lara called out from nearby. "Ah! They are coming! Heeeeey! Sylphy is awake!!!"

In the distance, Celeste and Celica could be seen approaching at a rapid pace.

The moment Celeste noticed I was awake, her tail stood completely erect. Then, as if struck by pure shock and joy, she sprinted toward us at high speed.

"Sylphyyyyyyyyy!"

She leaped over me before I could react and threw both of us hard onto the ground.

"Gwaack?!" I coughed from the impact. "C-Celeste?"

"I am so glad to see you awake! I was so worried!!!" she cried happily while clinging to me. "And you are so... so damn cute! L-Let me... let me touch your ears..."

"Kyaaaaa?!" I cried out as she began rubbing my longer ears and gently touching my wings. "H-Hey! I am glad to see you again but do not get so touchy—"

"Enough."

"Eek?! A-Aquarina?! I did not see you— Ough?!"

Celeste was suddenly grappled by Aquarina's strong arms and dragged away from me with firm but careful strength.

"B-But let me hug her! She is my friend!!!" Celeste protested while struggling lightly.

I do not know why, but Celeste seemed more desperate for contact than usual. Just what had happened to her while I was asleep?

"S-Sorry about that, Sylphy," Celica apologized with a small bow. "S-Since Ruby rejected her, she has been acting a bit weird... I guess she is hungry for affection..."

"You rejected her?!" I looked over at Ruby in complete shock.

"E-Eh?" Ruby blushed deeply. "I... Celeste is nice and all but..." she grew even more flustered as she spoke. "I like boys..." Her eyes drifted toward Zack and Luck, who were interacting nearby, and she quietly admired their handsomeness.
