Kelvin flew in the air, in his combat mode armor.
The suit hummed with advanced tech, thrusters glowing blue as he hovered, sensors scanning the battlefield in real-time.
"Release the self-destruct drones!" Kelvin instructed his command AI system.
The order was crisp, transmitted through neural links, the AI responding with a soft affirmative beep.
Drones flew from his suit toward a titan.
The small machines detached in a swarm, buzzing like angry insects, their hulls sleek and armed with explosive payloads.
The titan swung his hand to swat the drones away that he found annoying.
His palm swept broadly, aiming to crush the pests, frustration etching deeper lines on his face.
But with the drones being controlled and automated by an advanced AI system, it was a gross failure of an attempt by the titan.
They evaded with programmed precision, darting through gaps in his defenses like elusive shadows.
The drones flew toward the titan, passing through any opening they could to within the body of the titan.
They infiltrated nostrils and mouth, the titan gagging as they burrowed inward.
They passed through the titan’s mouth and nose into his body, navigating the internal passages with unerring accuracy, the hum of their engines muffled by flesh.
"Initiate explosion sequence." Kelvin’s command was calm, fingers tapping a holographic interface on his arm, sealing the fate.
The drones within the body of the titan exploded, blowing the titan to bits from inside.
The detonations rippled outward, flesh tearing in gory eruptions, chunks scattering across the plaza in a visceral rain.
----
"Good job, you two," Ego praised Kelvin and King, his voice a gravelly rumble that cut through the settling dust of the plaza.
He transformed from his full werewolf form back to his partial form, bits of brain matter still stuck between his teeth.
The shift rippled through his body with a series of low pops, fur receding slightly as his frame compacted, the metallic tang of titan blood lingering on his tongue like a bitter aftertaste.
"I don’t think now’s the time for thumbs up. We are still surrounded," Kelvin replied, scanning the large number of titans still surrounding them.
His eyes narrowed behind his visor, the HUD in his armor flickering with threat assessments, the air thick with the collective heat radiating from the encircling giants.
"That doesn’t matter. They are just meals waiting for me to devour. Don’t hold back, boys!" Ego shouted, transforming back to his full werewolf form.
His laughter echoed wildly, a feral edge sharpening his features as muscles swelled anew, claws extending with a sharp click, the primal surge flooding his senses with heightened hunger.
Ego moved through the titans, killing them with practical ease despite their sizes.
His body blurred into a whirlwind of motion, leaping from one colossal form to the next, the ground quaking under his bounds.
His claws and teeth tore the flesh of the titans like paper.
Rips echoed wetly, blood spraying in warm arcs that splattered across his fur, the coppery scent mingling with the acrid smoke of ruptured armor, each kill fueling the euphoric fire in his veins.
With the main forces already transported to the galaxy Aaron was residing in, Creen galaxy was a free galaxy to conquer by those with strength.
The absence left the realm vulnerable, stars twinkling mockingly overhead as if indifferent to the slaughter unfolding below.
King and Kelvin didn’t slack behind either, dismantling the ranks of the titans as ruthlessly as they could.
King’s chains whipped through the air with fiery trails, coiling and crushing; Kelvin’s drones swarmed like vengeful hornets, burrowing and erupting in gory bursts, the plaza devolving into a cacophony of roars, explosions, and dying gasps.
"That was the last one," Kelvin muttered, with King bringing the final titan down.
The body crumpled with a thunderous finality, the ground trembling one last time, leaving an unnatural silence broken only by the drip of blood from severed limbs.
"Tsk. They are weaker than I had expected," Ego complained, not completely satisfied with the battle.
He spat a glob of gore onto the cracked stone, frustration creasing his brow, the adrenaline ebbing into a restless itch for greater challenge.
"Well, the main forces will likely have been moved to our galaxy," Kelvin analyzed, his armor’s servos whirring softly as he retracted his weapons, the analysis drawn from intercepted signals flickering across his display.
"And leave his own galaxy unprotected? That’s stupid if you ask me," King muttered, wiping sweat from his brow, his chains retracting with a metallic slither, the flames on them dying to embers that cast flickering shadows on the bloodied ground.
"Well. From information I have gathered, he’s the strongest being amongst the surrounding galaxies. No one will want to attack his galaxy and anger Reign. It will spell doom for them." Kelvin explained.
"Strong or not, I will kill him like his dead comrades," Ego bragged, a savage grin splitting his face, eyes gleaming with unbridled arrogance, the boast hanging in the air like a challenge to the stars themselves.
"Good to know you will always be arrogant. But let’s leave dealing with that monster for your main body, while we focus on the task at hand," King calmed the blood of Ego, his tone laced with dry humor, clapping a hand on the werewolf’s shoulder, the contact firm amid the cooling pools of titan blood.
"Good job, you three. With the titans dead, the galaxy will be completely isolated," the space clone commended the group, appearing before Ego and company.
He materialized with a subtle warp of air, his form solidifying in the dimming light, a faint ripple of spatial energy fading like heat haze.
"Just get to work. We will be conquering the rest. Let’s not forget main body’s special instructions concerning this galaxy. Anyone related to Reign in any way should be sent to the afterlife," Ego reminded the space clone, flexing his hand.
His claws clicked together, still slick with viscera, the reminder delivered with a casual menace that underscored the ruthlessness of their mandate.
"Sure. I will start merging the nebula from here. You guys can continue going wild," the space clone affirmed, nodding with quiet efficiency, his hands already tracing patterns in the air that bent the distant stars into subtle alignments.
"Let’s move!" Ego barked with a thrill of euphoria, the constant battle and devouring increasing his strength.
The rush coursed through him like liquid fire, sharpening his senses, his bark echoing across the desecrated plaza as the group surged forward into the fray.
