Chapter 358: DOMINANCE

Chapter 358: DOMINANCE

Void rose to his feet, his body drenched in sweat that clung to his skin like a second layer, making his clothes heavy and uncomfortable.

The beads of perspiration trickled down his forehead, mixing with the strands of his disheveled hair.

"Are you okay?" Isobel’s concerned words cut through the air, her voice soft and laced with genuine worry as she watched him closely.

"I am. Just had a little upgrade to my abilities," Void replied, his tone steady despite the exhaustion evident in his posture.

He swept his long, tangled hair backward with a casual flick of his hand, revealing his face more clearly under the dim light.

"Your eyes. They are pretty," Isobel blurted out subconsciously, enthralled by the beauty of her brother’s eyes.

"Weak male. You are finally awake. Did you accept my offer?" The queen bee’s voice buzzed sharply, interrupting the quiet exchange between Isobel and Void.

Her tone carried a mix of disdain and impatience, her massive form hovering nearby with an air of dominance.

"Yes," Void answered simply, his voice firm and unwavering.

"Good. Now will you be my mate?" she asked, her gaze burning with uncontrolled desire and lust. Her compound eyes fixed on him intensely, reflecting a primal hunger that made the atmosphere tense and charged.

"Eeww. You are too ugly to join my harem. Find someone else, please," a cold, authoritative voice replied, materializing out of nowhere. The words dripped with arrogance, slicing through the air like a blade.

"Brother. What are you doing here?" Isobel asked in surprise, her eyes widening as she stared at Aaron, who had appeared suddenly just beside Void.

Her expression shifted from concern to astonishment, her hand instinctively reaching toward him.

"What does it look like? I’m trying to speed up the process quickly. Void, I will take care of things from here. Support Ego in his own conquest," Aaron instructed, his voice commanding and unyielding as he took the reins of command.

He stood tall, exuding an aura of effortless control that filled the space around them.

Void nodded his head in acknowledgment, his movements deliberate and silent.

Without another word, he turned and left the scene, his footsteps fading into the distance amid the lingering tension.

"And who are you, new intruder? Well, never mind, you look better. Plus, it seems you have more authority. I will have you as my mate then," the queen bee said to Aaron, her gaze even more intense now.

Her wings fluttered slightly, betraying her growing excitement, and her body language screamed possessiveness as she leaned closer.

"Sorry. But I was clear when I said I’m not interested," Aaron replied, his eyes glowing softly with an inner light that hinted at his immense power. His expression remained calm, almost bored, as if the proposition was beneath his notice.

"Cocky bastard. Kill them," the queen bee ordered her warriors, her voice rising in fury. Spittle flew from her mandibles, and her entire form quivered with rage at the rejection.

With the queen bee’s orders received, the half-bee creatures surged forward in droves, their wings buzzing loudly like a swarm of angry insects.

They flew toward Aaron and his group with relentless speed, their stingers glinting menacingly, prepared to crush them in an instant under their sheer numbers.

"Space-time inversion," Aaron activated one of his skills, his face a mask of nonchalance. He uttered the words casually, as if commenting on the weather, his posture relaxed amid the chaos.

Aaron utilized space-time inversion, causing displacement that resulted in exponential aging. The air around him shimmered faintly, distorting reality in subtle waves that rippled outward like heat haze.

Some of the bees that flew the fastest aged faster than they could understand or comprehend, their bodies wrinkling and decaying in mid-air. They disintegrated into dust, fine particles scattering like ash in the wind, leaving behind only echoes of their furious buzz.

The bee queen, as well as everyone else, was surprised, their faces frozen in shock. They stood there, unable to comprehend what was going on, the sudden silence after the disintegration amplifying the bewilderment in the air.

"What did you do?" the bee queen asked, her voice trembling slightly as she fixed Aaron as her prime suspect. Her eyes darted around, searching for an explanation in the remnants of her fallen warriors.

"Just dealing with the bothersome mobs," Aaron replied coolly, appearing right in front of the bee queen in the blink of an eye. His sudden proximity made her flinch, the air between them crackling with unspoken threat.

"You—"

Aaron didn’t give the bee queen the luxury of finishing her words. He moved with lightning precision, his hand shooting out to seize her.

He held her neck tightly, choking the life out of her. His fingers dug into her chitinous exoskeleton, squeezing with unyielding force that made her gasp and writhe in his grasp.

Struggling to break free, the bee queen pointed her abdomen toward Aaron, her body contorting desperately. She released an attack from the abdomen, a surge of energy building within her.

The attack, a black sharp rod, flew at great speed toward Aaron, the close proximity of Aaron to the bee queen making it even more dangerous.

The rod whistled through the air, its tip gleaming with lethal intent, aimed straight for his vital spots.

Aaron remained still, not the least bit worried. His expression stayed serene, a faint smirk playing on his lips as he watched the projectile approach without flinching.

Between Aaron and the black rod, space-time was severed, creating a void where coordinates and timelines proved meaningless.

The fabric of reality tore open like a wound, a dark rift swallowing everything in its path.

The black rod of the queen bee was swallowed into an unknown devoid of time and space, vanishing without a trace.

The void closed behind it, leaving only a faint distortion in the air as evidence of its existence.

"Try that again and I might just rip out your jaw," Aaron warned her, his voice low and menacing.

He moved his hands from her neck to her jaw, increasing his pressure on it, his grip like iron that made her mandibles creak under the strain.
