Chapter 365: BATTLE IN THE VOID II

Chapter 365: BATTLE IN THE VOID II

"Hmm." Chen Ye had a faint smile plastered on his face before making his move for an attack, the expression subtle yet laced with quiet menace, his eyes narrowing slightly.

He moved with blinding speed.

It was more like a flicker out of sight, and then appearing before Aaron, striking his sword downward in a fluid arc.

The blade cut through the void with a whisper, aimed to cleave with precision.

Aaron of course blocked the attack, a black sphere morphing from the black wristband on his hand into a sword just like Chen Ye’s own.

The transformation was instantaneous, the clash of metals ringing out sharply in the unstable space.

Chen Ye withdrew his sword instantly and fluidly, his retreat as graceful as his advance, muscles coiling for the next strike.

He went for a stab quickly too, thrusting forward with lethal intent, but that too was easily parried by Aaron, their blades sliding against each other in a shower of sparks.

Aaron knocked Chen Ye’s sword upward with a swift twist, before kicking him away by marching into his chest.

The boot connected solidly, the force sending Chen Ye skidding through the void, his form stabilizing mid-slide.

"I can see you too," Aaron muttered under his breath, bending his head slightly as he dodged the space shards thrown at him by Reign.

The projectiles whistled past, shattering against distant anomalies with faint explosions.

"Aarghhhh!" Reign roared furiously, flying toward Aaron with explosive momentum.

His size reverted to his true titan form, expanding massively, muscles bulging as he swung his hands covered in destruction energy that crackled like dark lightning.

The hands covered the entire area above Aaron, casting an enormous shadow as Reign sought to slap Aaron away with overwhelming force.

The air compressed violently, the void trembling under the descent.

Aaron though bent space around himself, teleporting out of the way in an instant.

The slap impacted empty space with a deafening boom, sending shockwaves rippling through the turbulent streams.

He appeared on the shoulder of Reign, sitting comfortably as if on a perch.

His posture was relaxed, one leg crossed over the other, a smirk playing on his lips.

"You really are a bad dog," Aaron reprimanded lightly, before standing on his feet with unhurried grace.

"Get off me, you filth!" Reign demanded, swiping his hand toward his shoulders to squash Aaron. His fingers closed in like massive claws, the motion swift and brutal.

Aaron didn’t move, instead making use of his Primordial Aqua with focused will.

Aaron controlled his Aqua Primordial talent, placing a single drop of water from his sweat on Reign.

The droplet adhered instantly, shimmering faintly with infused power.

"Urgh!" Reign groaned deeply, the weight on his shoulder growing too much for him to bear.

It pressed down relentlessly, causing him to fall downward in the void, his colossal frame buckling under the invisible burden.

The droplet had its density increased exponentially until it surpassed the weight Reign could endure, transforming an insignificant bead into a gravitational catastrophe.

"You are not going down that easily," Aaron said to Reign, who was spiraling downward in the void, arms flailing in futile resistance.

He clutched his hand tightly, molten burning rocks materializing around it in a swirl of fiery creation.

The rocks glowed with intense, unquenchable flames, heat radiating outward to distort the nearby light streams.

With the rock-enhanced fist, Aaron delivered a devastating blow to the jaw of Reign, the impact echoing like a cosmic collision.

It knocked him away even further, his body hurtling through the chaos with trails of energy.

In a split-second decision, Aaron blocked a strike from Chen Ye who had attacked stealthily, this time holding the sword with his hand still encased in molten rock.

The blade met the hardened surface with a clang, sparks flying in brilliant arcs.

"What are you waiting for before you get serious?" Aaron asked, a confident smile on his face.

His eyes locked onto Chen Ye’s, the challenge evident, the void around them seeming to hold its breath in anticipation.

"We need to work together if we are to defeat him," Chen Ye stated firmly, standing beside Reign and advising him with a steady gaze.

"You don’t need to join me. I will kill him alone with my hands," Reign declined stubbornly, his voice laced with unyielding determination.

He pushed forward once more toward Aaron, his massive frame cutting through the turbulent void like a charging behemoth.

Destruction element swirled around him in dark, chaotic vortices, coiling like living shadows hungry for annihilation.

His fist was coated with the destruction elements, glowing with an ominous energy that distorted the erratic light streams nearby, making the air hum with impending doom.

"I will kill you!!!" Reign yelled furiously, his roar echoing through the fractured darkness as he flew toward Aaron with explosive force.

He swung his hands wildly, the speed increased exponentially compared to before, blurring the boundaries of motion in the unstable expanse.

The void seemed to warp around his accelerating limbs, trailing faint afterimages that flickered and faded into the chaos.

But despite his increased speed, Aaron could still see his movements clearly with his mystic eyes, piercing through the veil of velocity.

He also discerned the element signature emitted by Reign, the destructive aura pulsing like a malevolent heartbeat in the ether.

Aaron created a wall in front of himself, a sturdy barrier of molten rock materializing from thin air.

It stood firm, ready to receive the full brunt of Reign’s attack, its surface crackling with inextinguishable flames that cast flickering glows across the shifting void.

Reign punched hard into the wall, expecting to blow the rocks to smithereens like he had always done with every previous attack.

His fist connected with a thunderous impact, sending vibrations rippling outward through the turbulent space.

But to his shock, the wall completely absorbed the punch, the destructive energy dissipating harmlessly into its unyielding structure.

No cracks formed, no fragments scattered; instead, the barrier seemed to grow stronger, feeding on the assault as if it were mere sustenance.
