Chapter 366: BATTLE IN THE VOID III

Chapter 366: BATTLE IN THE VOID III

"You should seriously listen to your ally, honestly. I’m tired of battling disappointments," Aaron remarked casually, appearing suddenly behind Reign through his masterful control of space. The teleportation was seamless, leaving a faint distortion in the air where he had been moments before.

Reign turned abruptly after hearing Aaron’s voice, surprise flashing across his rugged features. His eyes widened, the chaotic lights reflecting in them like shattered stars, his body pivoting with raw instinct.

Acting on his reflex action, he threw a powerful blow at Aaron behind him, his fist cutting through the void with brutal force. The swing carried the weight of his titan rage, aiming to crush the intruder without mercy.

Aaron dodged the blow effortlessly, his movements fluid and precise like a shadow evading light. He dished out an attack of his own on the face of Reign, his fist connecting with pinpoint accuracy despite the size difference.

It was like an ant punching a human in terms of scale, the contrast stark and almost comical. But the effect was different from that, the impact amplified by Aaron’s overwhelming power, resonating with a deep, bone-shaking thud.

Reign was sent flying by the blow from Aaron, hurtling away from him through the endless void. His massive body tumbled uncontrollably, crashing against pockets of warped space that bent and twisted around him.

And then, due to the randomness of the void, he found himself closer to Aaron again, his trajectory altered unpredictably, flying straight toward Aaron once more. The chaotic environment played tricks, redirecting his path in ways that defied logic.

"Came for more beating? How cute," Aaron smiled teasingly, his eyes gleaming with amusement as he threw his blow toward the approaching Reign. His fist cut through the air, charged with controlled energy that hummed softly.

Chen Ye moved swiftly, intervening as he tried to defend Reign from Aaron’s attack. His form blurred into action, sword at the ready, positioning himself between the two with calculated precision.

But of course, Aaron had seen him coming already, his mystic eyes anticipating every shift in the void’s turbulent flow.

Aaron maneuvered his attack with expert finesse, evading Chen Ye successfully as he threw a blow of his own at the face of Reign once more. The punch landed squarely, the force echoing like a distant explosion in the fractured darkness.

"Don’t worry. I don’t give preferential treatments," Aaron said calmly to Chen Ye, a grin spreading across his face. His tone was light, almost playful, belying the ferocity of the confrontation.

He gave Chen Ye an uppercut before he could react, his fist rising in a swift arc that connected under the chin with jarring impact. The strike lifted Chen Ye slightly off his feet, disrupting his balance in the weightless void.

Not letting Chen Ye go easily, Aaron flew upward with graceful speed, delivering a roundhouse kick cleanly to Chen Ye’s face. The boot struck with rotational force, sending him flying in the same direction as Reign, his body spinning through the chaotic streams of light.

"We seriously need to work together," Chen Ye tried convincing Reign once more after landing on the titan. He steadied himself against Reign’s massive form, his breath steady despite the blows, determination etched in his features.

"I said I’m going to kill him myself for what he did to my son," Reign refused once more, his voice booming with stubborn pride. His eyes burned with personal vendetta, the memory fueling his resistance to alliance.

"I said stop overinflating your pride and work together with me or continue being treated like a dog. Your call," Chen Ye offered his last chance, his tone sharp and unyielding. He crossed his arms, waiting for the response amid the swirling turbulence.

His eyes changed completely, replaced by obsidian darkness that absorbed the erratic lights around them. The transformation was eerie, turning his gaze into bottomless voids that seemed to pull in the surrounding chaos.

Reign remained quiet after Chen Ye’s words, his massive chest rising and falling as he considered the advice this time. The void’s constant shifting mirrored the turmoil in his mind, weighing pride against survival.

"Fine. But I get to kill him myself," Reign finally conceded, giving a condition with a grudging nod. His voice carried a hint of reluctance, but the alliance was formed in the heat of necessity.

"When we get him, we can properly make that decision because even I have a reason to want him dead," Chen Ye replied evenly, his obsidian eyes fixed on Aaron in the distance. He adjusted his grip on his sword, preparing for the joint assault.

"But you will need to reduce your size; it’s getting in the way against him. I need your compact size to stop you from being an easy target against him since he is stronger than you," Chen Ye instructed, his words practical and devoid of flattery.

"He is not stronger than me!" Reign denied vehemently, his fists clenching as denial flared in his expression. The idea chafed against his ego, his titan form trembling slightly with suppressed anger.

"Say what you want, but he is," Chen Ye countered bluntly, already moving toward Aaron once more. His steps were purposeful, cutting through the void’s randomness with focused intent.

"Heavenly demon technique, falling heavens!" Chen Ye called out resolutely, swinging his sword toward Aaron in a wide, sweeping arc. The motion was elegant yet devastating, channeling immense power through his blade.

With energy from his eyes, he utilized a destruction qi, sending an attack backed by dual qi energy. The obsidian darkness in his gaze pulsed, amplifying the assault with layered intensity.

One of the demonic nature, dark and insidious like creeping shadows, and the other destruction element, raw and obliterating like a storm of erasure.

Two elements that complemented each other and had similar attributes were used by Chen Ye for the technique, merging seamlessly into a harmonious force of devastation.

An attack surged toward Aaron like the strike of a god seeking to split heaven in two, cleaving through the void with a trail of annihilating energy that warped the luminous currents in its path.
