Chapter 398: SECRETS REVEALED I
"Lord Thor, Lord Loki, Lord Rhaigon, Lord Ignis," the elf bowed respectfully.
"Hmm? Jordan. What brings you here?" Thor asked, directing his question to Jordan.
"You guys! It’s good to see you. It seems I’m saved from the dilemma I was finding myself," Jordan replied.
Lilian and the rest of the group stared at Jordan in shock.
"You know Thor?" Lilian asked speechlessly.
Lilian had only seen celestial gods and Primordial dragons in passing.
But having a conversation with them? Far fetched.
Even the thought of it had to be banished from her mind.
She couldn’t understand how a unknown person like Jordan was able to act friendly in front of them.
To put it in contexts, the pinnacle races of the universe were the god race, the devil race and the dragon race and the undead race.
They four race were once the only rulers of the universe.
Until the demon race broke free from the devil race with Baal leading the rebellion, and the angel race broke free from the god race.
The incidence has led to the weakening of the four races control over the universe, with their control weakening even further after the racial war that took place at the earliest era of the universe birth.
In that war, vampires, werewolves, demons, angels, and elves led the rest of the lower races to oppose the Dragon, undead and god races.
After the war, the four races that ruled conceded in a bid to stop the bloodshed and added more races to be the ruling races, while their leaders were allowed to join the sovereign council.
Along the line, the angel race had an internal war where Lucifer broke free and joined the council.
With that the sovereign council was created with Zeus and Odin representing the god race in the sovereign council.
Primal, the first Primordial dragon represented the dragons alone, therefore he kept the two seat of the dragon race to himself, equaling his say with that of the gods.
The undead race also had two seat in the sovereign council, one belonging to Necros, and the other to Cronus.
Mephistopheles, like the Primordial dragon took the two seat of the devil race.
Baal took the only seat for the demon race, with Seraphel taking the seat of the angel race.
Dracula then took the seat of the vampire race, with the werewolf god taking the seat of the werewolves race.
Lucifer and the elf queen were the last to have a seat within the sovereign council.
That brought the seats within the sovereign council to fourteen.
Celestial gods and Primordial dragons were the royalty of their races and having relation with them, especially when you were from a minor race were rare.
"Provide the best room for the others. We will take care of the hosting him," Rhaigon instructed the elf, pointing his hands towards Jordan.
"Yes my lord," the elf bowed respectfully, going ahead to carry out the instruction he was given.
After the departure of the group, Jordan and the group refrained from saying any viral thing to one another, having just surface discussions like old timers.
Led by Thor, they arrived at the special room, that was heavily protected from prying beings.
The room was locked, and ensured to be fully functioning in blocking out the prying of outsiders, sound cancellation devices were used, as well space isolation device.
"Jordan Hayes. Or should I say Aaron Highborn," Thor called out, his voice serious and deep as he stared into Jordan’s eyes.
The others stared at Jordan as well, their face one of seriousness.
"Sire," Thor said, bowing his head deeply, the word carrying centuries of ingrained reverence.
Aaron waved a hand, casual and almost amused.
"There’s no need for that." His voice softened, the mask of Jordan finally slipping away now that the Sovereign Galaxy’s impenetrable wards cocooned them.
"Well... good to see you guys are still in one piece after our last little encounter."
He offered a genuine smile, warm, unguarded, and startlingly human for someone who had just orchestrated so much chaos.
Loki, ever impatient, cut straight through the pleasantries.
"So? What do you want? What’s the actual reason you turned us?"
Aaron’s smile widened, eyes glinting with appreciation.
"The god of deception going straight to the point. I like it."
He let the silence stretch just long enough to savor their anticipation before answering.
"The reason is simple. Straightforward, even. I need allies... inside my enemy’s ranks."
Rhaigon frowned, confusion creasing his ancient features.
"Enemy ranks for what? What enemies?"
Aaron tilted his head, studying them for a moment. Then, almost idly, he asked,
"Hmm. Will anyone notice if we teleport from here?"
Thor answered without hesitation.
"Nope. No one will. Besides, unauthorized teleportation inside this Sovereign Galaxy is impossible anyway. It’ll be blocked instantly."
Aaron’s gaze sharpened.
"But if there were a way... no one would be able to trace it, right?"
"Yes," Loki confirmed, voice low and intrigued.
A slow, dangerous smile spread across Aaron’s face.
"Then let’s go somewhere better."
He raised one hand.
Space itself tore open before them, not violently, but with elegant precision.
A perfect vertical rift bloomed, edges shimmering with silver-black light that pulsed like a living heartbeat.
Beyond it lay something vast, quiet, and impossibly beautiful.
Ignis’s eyes widened.
"You... how...?"
Aaron stepped toward the rift without looking back.
"Just follow me."
He vanished through the tear in reality.
Loki stared at the opening for half a heartbeat, then let out a soft, delighted chuckle.
"Well... there goes nothing."
He strode through first, cloak swirling behind him.
The others exchanged glances, half awe, half resignation, then followed.
The moment they crossed the threshold, the air changed.
It tasted cleaner, older, untouched by the politics of any universe.
The scent of distant nebulae clung to everything: faint ozone, crushed starlight, and something indefinably sweet, like memory made physical.
Loki stopped dead, staring upward, a surprise and confused look on his face.
"Where the hell is this place?"
