Chapter 433: FACING THE FINAL BOSSES
Chapter 433: FACING THE FINAL BOSSES
The massive creature loomed ahead, its fiery form crackling with pent-up energy, finally prepared to unleash its devastating attack.
The Ifrit, having compressed every single ounce of lightning and flames into a seething core, released the assault from its massive hands.
Bolts of electricity intertwined with roaring infernos, hurtling forward like a storm of destruction, scorching the air and leaving trails of ionized heat in their wake.
"Let me help," the White Sphere said, its calm, feminine, childlike voice resonating with a serene confidence that cut through the chaos.
The ego weapon merged seamlessly with the Black Sphere, enhancing the lightning lethality of the Black Sphere in its Mjölnir state.
Sparks danced wildly across the hammer’s surface, now infused with a brilliant white radiance that amplified the raw power, making the electricity crackle with even greater intensity and precision.
Aaron released his attack afterward, channeling the combined might through a powerful swing.
He sent it surging toward the Ifrit, the air humming with electric tension as the bolt streaked across the distance.
His lightning, no different from the wrath of the gods, collided with the Ifrit’s attack.
The impact echoed like thunderclaps in a storm, sparks flying in all directions as raw energies clashed in a dazzling display of force.
Aaron’s attack crushed the Ifrit’s assault like it was mere paper, shredding through the flames and bolts with unstoppable momentum.
It continued unimpeded toward the Ifrit, a blinding streak of divine fury that lit up the dim surroundings.
The lightning consumed the Ifrit completely and ironically without mercy, turning the master of lightning and flames to ash in an instant.
The creature’s form disintegrated in a haze of embers and smoke, its roars fading into silence as the energy overwhelmed its very essence.
The lightning, though, didn’t stop there as it continued even further, arcing wildly beyond the fallen foe.
It crashed into a wall and several pillars, obliterating them in an instant.
Chunks of stone and debris exploded outward, the structures crumbling under the assault with deafening cracks and rumbles.
With important pillars of the building destroyed, the entire structure started to collapse under its own weight.
Beams groaned in protest, dust billowed from widening fissures, and the ground trembled as the edifice gave way.
"You guys did too much," Aaron muttered under his breath, a wry smile tugging at his lips despite the urgency.
He made his way toward the building’s exit, his steps quick and purposeful amid the falling rubble.
His two ego weapons, now returned to their base spherical forms, followed behind him.
They hovered gracefully above his shoulders, their presences a comforting hum of latent power in the air.
Boom!
Aaron escaped in the nick of time, bursting out into the open just as the building collapsed behind him.
A massive cloud of dust and debris rose like a mushroom, the thunderous crash echoing across the landscape.
"Now that was fun," Aaron muttered, already beginning to enjoy the duo ego weapons.
A thrill coursed through him, the synergy between the spheres igniting a spark of excitement in his chest.
"Father, watch out!" The voices of the Black Sphere and White Sphere rang out in unison, sharp with alarm.
One transformed into Mjölnir, its hammerhead crackling with dark energy, while the other shifted into Dragon Forge, its blade gleaming with an ominous edge honed to perfection.
Both weapons independently blocked a ray of blizzard shot toward Aaron, countering it with attacks of their own.
Bolts of lightning and slashes of void energy met the icy barrage, shattering it into harmless flakes that scattered like snow in the wind.
Aaron was impressed by their independent decision-making, a nod of approval crossing his features as he watched the display.
Indeed, thanks to his mystic eyes, he had already seen the attack coming, the ethereal vision granting him glimpses of trajectories in shimmering outlines.
But blocking it would have required him to exert himself a bit more, straining his focus amid the lingering adrenaline.
"Hah. Of course. They will copy the Penumbra Ice Queen," Aaron muttered with a grin on his face, his tone dripping with amused sarcasm.
Penumbra Ice Queen was the moniker used to identify Alice by those that lived to tell the tales of her actions, a name whispered in fear and awe across shadowed corners.
Aaron, of course, had grown to like the name, while finding it amusing in its dramatic flair, a fitting title for someone of her caliber.
Standing in front of him was a lady with smooth, fair skin and a pretty face, her features sharp and elegant like carved ice under moonlight.
But of course, to Aaron, the lady was a far cry in beauty standards compared to Alice, lacking that captivating depth and allure that drew him in.
The Ice Queen stood still, her posture unyielding and composed, exuding an aura of frigid authority that chilled the surrounding air.
And behind her, a towering figure appeared, its form emerging from the gloom like a nightmare taking shape.
The figure was covered in shadows, pulsating and writhing with dark tendrils that twisted unnaturally, as if alive with malevolent intent.
"Finally get to meet the final boss. Let’s be fast about this then," Aaron grinned, his eyes sparkling with battle-ready enthusiasm.
"Are you guys ready for this?" Aaron asked his ego weapons, his voice steady and confident.
"Yes!" Both weapons replied with a thrill of happiness, their voices harmonizing in eager anticipation, vibrating with shared excitement.
"Good to know we are all on the same page."
Aaron stretched his hand, and two blades appeared in them, materializing with a flash of cosmic energy that lit up his palms.
One was the Black Sphere transformed into Dragon Forge, now boasting greater lethality than it used to have in the past, its edge humming with amplified void essence that promised devastating cuts.
And the other one was the White Sphere transforming into Excalibur, a radiant sword pulsing with pure light.
Not the weak blade Aaron used to have, but a strong replica that was not losing to Dragon Forge, its form flawless and imbued with unyielding brilliance.
