Chapter 434: BATTLING THE FINAL BOSSES II

Chapter 434: BATTLING THE FINAL BOSSES II

Aaron made the first move, dashing toward the enemy duo with fluid grace, his muscles coiling like springs ready to unleash.

Of course, the female boss reacted fast, her eyes narrowing in cold calculation.

She released several ice shards tainted with shadow energy toward Aaron, the projectiles whistling through the air like deadly arrows, each one trailing wisps of darkness that sapped warmth from the surroundings.

Aaron, of course, reacted with ease, his movements a blur as he smashed each shard to pieces with both divine weapons.

Shards exploded into glittering fragments, the impacts ringing out like clashing steel.

Abruptly turning back, Aaron blocked the surprise ambush of the male boss that had tried to sneak up on him, his senses heightened by the thrill of combat.

Using his right hand, he warded off the boss’s attack, the shadowy strike clanging against Dragon Forge with a resonant boom.

And with his left hand that held the Excalibur, Aaron went for a stab, thrusting forward with precise, lethal intent, the blade gleaming as it sought to pierce through the writhing darkness.

The male boss monster reacted quickly, his shadowy form twisting with unnatural speed as he evaded the strike from Aaron.

Tendrils of darkness coiled around him like living smoke, pulling him just out of reach in a blur of motion.

Or so he thought, but Aaron, as sneaky as ever, abruptly changed his attack mid-thrust.

A sly glint flashed in his eyes, his body adapting seamlessly to the shift, muscles flexing with calculated precision.

Seeing the movement of the shadow boss with his mystic eyes, which pierced through the gloom like ethereal lanterns, he swung Dragon Forge at the male boss.

The blade whistled through the air, leaving trails of void energy that distorted the space around it.

The male boss was caught off guard, his pulsating shadows faltering for a split second.

He couldn’t react on time to the sudden change of actions, his form frozen in momentary surprise amid the chaotic battlefield.

Aaron, of course, got away with something devious in that instant, his grin widening as the advantage swung in his favor.

His attack created a sharp cut right on the chest of the male boss, the blade slicing through the writhing darkness with a satisfying hiss.

Black ichor oozed from the wound, evaporating into wisps of shadow that dissipated like mist under sunlight.

The female boss, trying to help out her companion, released a blizzard mixed with shadows from her outstretched hands.

Swirling winds howled, carrying razor-sharp ice flecks infused with inky blackness that chilled the air to bone-numbing degrees.

Aaron, of course, swung Dragon Forge with effortless confidence, the weapon’s dark aura flaring to life.

He easily nullified the attack, the blade absorbing and shattering the shadowy storm in a cascade of fragmented crystals and fading gloom.

And with purpose, he threw Dragon Forge toward her, the blade hurling through the air like a comet of destruction, aimed squarely at her chest.

It spun with deadly intent, the void essence humming as it closed the distance.

With the blade flying toward the boss lady, Aaron turned around swiftly, his focus sharpening on the other threat without missing a beat.

With Excalibur in hand, its radiant edge glowing with pure, unyielding light, Aaron forced the shadow boss into a corner.

His relentless attacks came in a flurry, each swing precise and unyielding, driving the creature back step by step.

The shadow boss tried on several occasions to dodge the attacks by relying on his shadows to switch his position.

Dark portals rippled open, allowing him to phase through the void and reappear elsewhere, a tactic born of instinctual cunning.

But Aaron kept attacking the location he swapped to the moment he moved, his mystic eyes anticipating every shift with uncanny accuracy.

The blade met the boss each time, sparks of light clashing against darkness in explosive bursts.

It felt like Aaron could predict his movements, which was a weird, unsettling feeling for the male boss monster to fight against.

Confusion flickered in its obscured features, the usual confidence eroded by this relentless foresight.

The Ice Queen released more waves of dark blizzard toward the approaching Dragon Forge weapon, her fair skin paling further as desperation crept in.

Gusts of frozen shadow surged forth, attempting to engulf the blade in layers of icy oblivion.

But all her attacks were easily nullified by Dragon Forge, the weapon’s surface rippling with countering energy that dissolved the assaults on contact.

The blade emitted destruction element in pulsing waves, which countered all the attacks the Ice Queen was releasing until it reached her.

Each clash sent shockwaves rippling outward, the air crackling with opposing forces.

The Ice Queen, realizing she couldn’t halt the blade’s advance, decided to dodge it instead.

Her body moved with graceful urgency, gliding across the ground like a specter on frozen winds.

But even that proved difficult as the ego weapon was onto her like a homing missile, adjusting its trajectory mid-flight with intelligent precision, its form locked on her every evasion.

It soon became a relentless game of chase and catch, the blade weaving through the air while she twisted and turned in a desperate ballet of survival.

But in the end, the ego weapon won, closing the gap with unerring determination.

It pierced directly through her chest, the tip driving deep and hitting her heart.

A blast of destruction element erupted from the wound, overwhelming the body of the Ice Queen in a torrent of disintegrating power.

The Ice Queen’s body went limp from the destruction element overload, her elegant features slackening as life ebbed away.

Frost clung to her skin one last time before cracking and fading, her form collapsing in a heap.

With its job done, the Black Sphere pulled itself out of the Ice Queen, retracting the blade form with a smooth hum.

It found its way back to Aaron, hovering loyally once more, ready for the next command.

"Now, just one to go," Aaron mused, already mounting pressure on the final boss with calculated strikes.

His movements were fluid and deliberate, each one designed to prolong the inevitable while testing his own limits.
