Chapter 555: LEGEND BLOODLINE AWAKENS
Chapter 555: LEGEND BLOODLINE AWAKENS
The souls detonated violently, exploding outward in a storm of ethereal energy that pushed everything away , debris, air, and Aegon included, with raw, destructive force.
"That’s just a child throwing a tantrum," Aegon mocked, completely unharmed by Aaron’s desperate attack. He brushed off the assault as if it were nothing.
"You want to see ruthless?" Aaron said coldly, his voice dropping to a dangerous edge. "Allow me to show you."
He slipped into space in an instant, vanishing from sight.
Within that inner realm of space, he time-stepped forward, appearing in the future to launch a surprise attack on Aegon.
But Aegon’s mystic eyes locked onto Aaron’s future form with absolute clarity, seeing every intended move as if it were already unfolding.
"Time and space are inconsequential to the mystic eyes," Aaron heard Aegon’s voice echo clearly within that future moment.
And within that timeline that had never truly happened, Aegon acted first. He stabbed Aaron straight through the chest with brutal precision.
Then, dragging his hand downward in one savage motion, he carved a deep, jagged mark across Aaron’s torso.
"Ugh!" Aaron groaned in pain as he was violently yanked back into the present, the phantom wound burning across his chest like fire.
"How did the future work out for you?" Aegon asked, standing there freely with a smug expression. "Sometimes the future is not the answer, Aaron."
Aaron hovered suspended in the air, his mind racing as he calculated his options.
From the very beginning of the fight until this moment, he had been continuously dominated by Aegon controlling Ego. It was a bitter reality he hated admitting, yet he had no choice but to face it.
"I admit it," Aaron said to Aegon, his voice steady despite the frustration churning inside him. "You are all brain. You can calculate everything. You can simulate every possibility. And thanks to that, I can’t beat you like this."
"It’s your victory, Aegon," he muttered quietly. "I can’t beat you. Not like this."
"Breaking so soon?" Aegon muttered, a hint of disappointment coloring his words. "I expected a bit more from you, Aaron."
"I’m not giving up," Aaron replied firmly. "I’m just admitting to my shortcomings. My greatest drawback against you is poor judgment. You move so unpredictably that I have almost no time to process it. My brain defaults to reflex decisions, and they always end up wrong because they’re too basic, too slow."
"Yeah. We both know that," Aegon said flatly. "So what?"
"I should stop thinking," Aaron declared coldly, his resolve hardening. "I should stop wasting time trying to think and leave everything to my body. I should simply rely on my instincts."
The moment the words left his lips, his eyes began to flicker with faint sparks of electricity.
Flames suddenly rose from Aaron’s body, licking across his skin with intense heat. They were not ordinary fire, they were heating the very atomic structure that made up his form, energizing every particle within him.
His atoms, now highly excited, strained and tried to pull apart from one another in chaotic frenzy.
But the primordial terra part of his talent generated a powerful magnetic force, strong enough to hold them all together in a vibrating, supercharged state.
By this point, Aaron had already lost consciousness, surrendering complete control and leaving everything to his body’s raw instincts.
Time essence surged into his brain next, propelling it forward so it existed slightly ahead in the future.
Every possible calculation, every action, was simulated a million times simultaneously, accounting for every single possibility in a whirlwind of foresight.
Space essence flowed through his body as well, its purpose clear: it erased all feedback and transmission delays between his brain and his nerves.
The lag in information transfer vanished completely, leaving only pure, instantaneous connection.
Following that, light and darkness essence stimulated his brain with forceful intensity, keeping it in a constant state of hyper-awareness and razor-sharp focus.
His samsara essence, combined with the strength of his nine heaven nameless soul, fortified his soul against the overwhelming strain.
Meanwhile, his chaos body worked tirelessly to prevent his physical form from tearing itself apart under the immense pressure.
His origin bloodlines, guided by the subconscious commands of his enhanced brain, instinctively selected the strongest traits from every variant bloodline within him.
They sublimed those qualities directly into Aaron’s body, merging them seamlessly.
[Congratulations! You have forcefully stimulated your body and awakened your dormant bloodline.]
[Your legend bloodline is temporarily merging with you.]
[Warning! You are not yet ready to awaken your bloodline!]
[Your body and soul is not strong enough to awaken your bloodline.]
The system notifications continued to pour into Aaron’s mind in a steady stream of glowing text.
[Your bloodline is forcefully staying awake and temporarily awakening itself.]
[Your bloodline is temporarily taking control of your bloodline.]
[Your bloodline has temporarily suppressed the parasitic mystic eyes that doesn’t belong to you.]
[You have awakened the legend eyes that belong exclusively to you, temporarily.]
[You have temporarily awakened the legend arms.]
[You have temporarily awakened the legend legs.]
[You have temporarily awakened the legend soul.]
[Warning! Warning! You can no longer awaken any other organ as that will put a strain on you.]
The messages kept flowing, feeding Aaron with vital information. But he remained deep in his subconscious state, completely unaware, unable to hear a single word the system delivered.
"You two," the voice spoke, not Aaron’s usual tone, but the ancient, commanding presence of his inner bloodline. "You are far beyond what you should be. Let me give you a taste of true strength."
"Merge," it commanded calmly.
In that same instant, the black sphere and the white sphere fused together seamlessly, collapsing into a single, perfectly balanced orb that pulsed with raw power.
The newly formed sphere then transformed, shrinking and reshaping until only a sleek, elegant hilt remained, a sword without a blade.
The hilt trembled slightly in the air. For the first time, the ego weapons felt an overwhelming surge of power flooding into them, stronger and purer than anything they had ever experienced
