Chapter 582 582: KILLING THE FLAME FATHER
Chapter 582 582: KILLING THE FLAME FATHER
Chen Mo stretched his hand forward and gripped the Flame Father's arm with unyielding strength.
"Fool," the Flame Father mocked, his voice dripping with arrogance. "Holding me will only hasten your death!"
The next moment, he unleashed a devastating blast of flames.
His entire body ignited, covered completely in an inferno that roared with unnatural power.
These flames were different, stronger, and more dangerous.
They shifted in color like a living sinusoidal wave, moving from colorless to deep, dark flames, then back to colorless, before flaring into brilliant white and fading again.
The heat distorted the air around them, warping reality itself.
The Flame Father smiled cruelly as he channeled the deadly flames from the arm Chen Mo held, pouring them straight into his opponent.
"Give it up," Chen Mo muttered calmly.
His words caused the Flame Father to stare at him in utter shock.
Chen Mo wasn't affected at all. Instead, his arms began to glow with a fierce light.
The ancient inscriptions and markings etched into his skin grew bolder, pulsing with radiant power.
The Flame Father was awestruck, eyes wide as he stared at Chen Mo's glowing hand.
"What is this?" he demanded, voice trembling with disbelief.
"The start of your demise," Chen Mo replied coldly. "Extinguish."
The moment the word left his lips, the flames blazing across the Flame Father's body snuffed out like a candle extinguished by a cold breeze.
The roaring inferno vanished instantly, leaving only silence and the faint smell of scorched air.
"You… How???" the Flame Father asked, sheer surprise twisting his features.
"You shouldn't have stayed so close to me," Chen Mo answered, his tone flat and merciless.
The Flame Father tried desperately to pull his arm away, but he couldn't break free.
His strength failed him completely.
"Let me go!!!!" he roared, panic rising in his voice as he attempted to reignite his flames.
Nothing happened.
"Your death has been set in stone from the very beginning," Chen Mo informed him, raising his other hand that still gripped the sword.
"You can't kill me!" the Flame Father bellowed in rage.
"I am the Flame Father — the source of all flames! I cannot be killed! Not by the likes of lesser men like you!"
"You can be killed," Chen Mo replied, his eyes cold and serious.
"I'll prove it to you now."
He raised the sword and pressed it slowly against the Flame Father's chest.
With deliberate cruelty, he stabbed straight through the heart.
"Huh…" the Flame Father groaned, pain flashing across his face as the blade sank deeper.
Chen Mo pushed the sword all the way in, piercing the core of the Flame Father's being with cold finality.
The Flame Father stared in pure panic.
He could no longer sense his connection to every creature that carried even a trace of his flame bloodline.
It felt as though he was utterly alone — a terrifying emptiness he had never known.
For the first time since he had come to understand the simplest things in existence, the Flame Father truly felt fear.
"Please… don't kill me," he begged, voice breaking.
"I will give you everything you want. Power, authority, wealth, strength — everything!"
"I don't need any of them," Chen Mo said simply.
With one final, merciless swing of the sword still buried in the Flame Father's heart, Chen Mo ended him.
The Flame Father died instantly, unable to resurrect.
Chen Mo had imposed an authority that completely negated any form of immortality or revival.
"Well, that was anticlimactic," Seth muttered, appearing beside Chen Mo with a faint sigh.
"It's done," Chen Mo informed him, pulling his sword free.
"Yeah. That's all for my favor to that guy," Seth replied.
"I guess I can be on my way now. And one piece of advice for you, be careful how you associate with Aegon. He can never be trusted."
"I'm aware," Chen Mo replied. "I don't trust him. I just conduct business with him and that's all."
"Heh. The more deals you do with him, the closer you are to losing your life, or being controlled by him," Seth added.
"The faster you realize that, the better for you."
"Well, it's none of my business. Ciao."
Seth exploded into a swirling mist of blood and vanished from sight.
"He isn't wrong though," a cherry, childish voice reached Chen Mo's ears again, light and playful.
"I can't be trusted."
"I concluded the task as promised," Chen Mo said, going straight to business.
"Now give me his location."
"You should be patient," the young child replied, a hint of amusement in her tone.
"Patience, they say, is a virtue."
She paused, her small voice turning almost congratulatory.
"And congrats on reaching the origin rank. Today's battle brought a lot of fortunate events, it seems."
"Let me know when you get the coordinates," Chen Mo added, already turning away.
"You know where to find me."
With that, he disappeared from sight.
The origin realm broke apart without warning.
It self-destructed violently, crumbling into nothing now that the Flame Father was gone and could no longer sustain it.

Aaron was still finalizing the last details with Aetherion when a sudden system notification forced him to stop.
[The Flame Father is dead! And you are the only Flame Father left.]
[You now have control over all flame beings created before you became the Flame Father.]
"Hmm? Weird," Aaron muttered in confusion, his brow furrowing slightly. "Are origin beings having a go at each other?"
"So your plan is to devour the entire Primordial realm?" Aetherion asked, breaking into Aaron's thoughts.
"The moment I devour it, I will be able to lift the restrictions placed on the Primordial realm," Aaron explained.
"Think of it as overwriting a system… and then being able to control the system."
"What's the catch?" Triple A asked, his voice tight with suspicion.
"I get absolute control over the Primordial realm," Aaron replied bluntly.
"And I can control it as I see fit."
"That's not a risk we are willing to take," Triple A frowned, the idea of Aaron holding absolute power over their home clearly unsettling him.
