Chapter 584 584: PLAYED

Finally.

Aaron had completely devoured the Primordial realm.

Power surged through him like a roaring river, and he finally stepped into the Absolute rank.

His body thrummed with raw, limitless strength.

The promise of true, overwhelming power filled every fiber of his being, making the air around him tremble.

But just as he began to relish the intoxicating feeling of growing stronger once more, a sharp break in connection hit him like a hammer to the chest.

He lost control of his sanctuary.

He could no longer sense it.

No matter how hard he reached out, the familiar link was gone.

The coordinates had vanished completely. It felt as though the sanctuary no longer existed for him at all.

Aaron's heart slammed against his ribs.

Panic clawed its way up his throat, cold and suffocating.

His family was inside that sanctuary, his wives, his children, everyone he cared about.

He couldn't afford to lose them. Not now. Not ever.

"Think, Aaron. Think!" he muttered, voice tight with rising dread.

His heartbeat thundered in his ears, loud and frantic.

Confusion gnawed at his soul like a living thing.

What could have gone wrong?

His mind raced, searching desperately for answers.

Then one clear thought cut through the chaos.

The Primordial realm.

He had lost the connection the exact moment he finished devouring it completely.

After turning the possibility over again and again, only one name rose to the surface.

Aegon.

"Damn Aegon!" Aaron growled, his voice low and venomous, anger burning hot in his chest.

"Aaron! What's the matter?" Aetherion asked, concern flashing across his face as he sensed the sudden shift in Aaron's aura.

"I have been played!" Aaron called out coldly, the words slicing through the air like a blade.

"No. You haven't been played," the Absolute interrupted, levitating directly in front of Aaron with a smug, towering presence.

"You are just a dead man."

"Zip it," Aaron snapped, his voice ice-cold.

"I'm not in the mood."

"You damn brat," the Absolute roared, annoyance flaring in his eyes. "You are just too arrogant. Die!!!"

He stretched his massive hand toward Aaron, aiming to grapple and crush him in one brutal motion.

"I said… I'm… not… in… the… mood!" Aaron roared back, his fury exploding outward.

He caught the Absolute's arm in an iron grip, then hurled the giant being away with every ounce of his newfound strength.

Boom!

The throw created a deafening supersonic crack.

The Absolute flew backward at several times the speed of light, tearing through the air like a meteor.

Aaron time-stepped instantly, appearing directly in the Absolute's path.

He opened his mouth and unleashed a torrent of origin flames straight at the flying figure.

"No!" the Absolute roared, desperately forming a shield of absolute aqua to block the attack.

But the shield shattered like glass under the flames' overwhelming power.

The Absolute suffered terrible burns across his body, skin blistering and cracking from the intense heat.

"I'm not done with you yet," Aaron said coldly, seizing the Absolute by the neck and squeezing with crushing force.

His eyes burned with pure, unfiltered rage as he stared the being down.

"If you kill me, you will be hunted forever by the Transcendents," the Absolute warned, voice strained.

"I don't care," Aaron replied angrily. "I just want to know where he is."

"Who?"

"Aegon. Tell me where he is and I will spare your life."

"I have no idea who that guy is," the Absolute gasped.

"Very well."

Aaron opened his free hand.

A centipede made of living flames materialized in his palm, writhing with malicious heat.

"Hey! What do you think you are trying to do?" the Absolute asked, panic rising in his voice.

Aaron didn't bother responding.

He simply placed the flaming centipede at the Absolute's ear canal.

The creature crawled inside without hesitation.

"Aarghhhh!!!!" the Absolute screamed in agony, his body convulsing violently.

"Pleaseeee!!! Stop!!!! It hurts!!! It burns!!!" he roared, tears streaming down his face as the flames ate away at him from within.

But Aaron didn't care.

He was too far gone, transferring every ounce of his rage onto the helpless Absolute.

The Absolute's roars grew weaker, his eyes slowly losing focus from the unbearable pain.

"Come on, Aaron. You don't have to punish an innocent man for my actions," a playful, childish voice suddenly reached Aaron's ears.

"Aegon."

Aaron stopped the torture at once.

He released the Absolute, letting the broken being drop, and turned his full attention to the new arrival.

Aaron fixed his burning gaze on the young child standing before him.

The boy had white hair, bright blue eyes, and an aura of effortless confidence that radiated around him like a crown.

"Once again, Aaron," the child said in mocking tones, "you fell for my plot."

Boom!

The child narrowly dodged the full force of a blow that shattered space itself, the shockwave ripping the air apart where he had stood.

"Aren't you a little too hot-headed right now?" the child asked, still smiling after evading one of Aaron's killing punches.

"Aegon. Where are they?!" Aaron roared in pure fury.

He swung his sword again at the child, this time with flames wrapping tightly around his arms like living armor.

The child dodged the attack once more, creating fresh distance between them with effortless grace.

"You really should check on your morals," the child teased, his voice light and playful.

"You are attacking a child."

"That's not the answer to my question!" Aaron roared, his fury boiling over like a storm about to break.

His aura surged upward, climbing higher and higher until it pressed against the very ceiling of the realm.

Flames roared to life around him, spinning in furious circles like the relentless wheel of a motor.

Then aqua essence wrapped around his body, giving his skin a faint, shimmering trace of blue that glowed with raw power.

Terra formed a solid bedrock beneath his feet, steady and unyielding, while gale stirred a gentle yet ominous breeze that whipped at the edges of his clothes.
