Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1093: To Hell With The Miracle Pavilion

Chapter 1093: To Hell With The Miracle Pavilion

By the time the crowd snapped out of their daze, their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

"Reverse attack?"

"Are we really going on the offensive?"

"But how can we attack when there are too many of them?"

Although the crowd had shouted earlier to retaliate, they all knew their limits and capabilities. It wasn’t that they didn’t wish to do so, but that they lacked the necessary manpower to even initiate the offense.

Lack of manpower and enemies always running at the face of a true elite, such as Lunar Wraith, made it extremely difficult for them to gain any sense of victory.

Therefore, they were stunned by Eclipse Nova’s appearance, but they didn’t react ferociously toward the latter’s declaration. Instead, they were skeptical and doubtful of the declaration as a mere motivation that lacked substance.

Seeing their lackluster reaction, Veronica was about to say something when Xu Feng calmly extended his hand to halt her.

He was already prepared to see such a reaction. But still, he was very satisfied. After all, their skepticism and concern about the plan meant that their heart lay with the Vanguard Guild.

In such a crisis, they could have outright left the guild, which some of the regular members had already done. Toward such regular members, Xu Feng held zero emotions.

If they can’t afford to go through difficult times and only wish to enjoy the happy times, then they aren’t fit to be Vanguard Guild members.

He named the guild Vanguard because it literally means advancing forward regardless of the circumstances.

Hence, when his eyes scanned the crowd, which consisted of 323 elites, he was beyond pleased with these loyal members.

"I understand everyone’s concern, but I can’t help but question this." Xu Feng walked a bit forward and asked, "Why are we so fixated on the ones attacking us and not the mastermind?"

Upon hearing that, the crowd suddenly went numb.

Indeed, why were they so fixated on those attacking them and not the actual mastermind, which was the Miracle Pavilion?

"Um, I believe it’s because the Miracle Pavilion’s base is too difficult to attack?" Suddenly, an elite member raised their hand and said softly.

Standing behind Xu Feng was Blue Star, whose face turned somewhat pale.

’Why is she stepping in and questioning the boss?’ She nearly had a heart attack because the person who just raised their hand was none other than Kailey, her team member.

’Good thing I’ve sent Benson far away.’ Next to her was Dark Night, who heaved an immense sigh of relief. Just the horror of imagining having Benson here and causing trouble in the scene caused him to be constipated.

While Dark Night was relieved, he suddenly received a light jab in the side from Blue Star, who glared at him.

In response, Dark Night simply smiled widely, completely disregarding the light jab. However, his expression soon changed, and he nearly cursed Benson for not being present to do the talking.

"You must be Miss Kailey, right?" Xu Feng calmly acknowledged her. "I applaud you for being outspoken. Your team leader, Blue Star, must have trained you well. It’s good to question when in doubt and speak your mind freely when you have a point."

"Uh, yes," Nodding her head, Kailey expected to be reprimanded, and not complemented.

Meanwhile, Dark Night’s face fell as he turned his attention to Blue Star.

"Can I return the jab to you?" He asked softly, trying to repay her for the previous action. He had let it go earlier because he thought he had won. But apparently, he lost big time. Now, all the potential elite members would choose to join the Star Team over the Night Team.

"Go ahead, and I’ll scream sexual harassment." Blue Star grinned evilly.

"..."

Knowing that he was suppressed by Blue Star and her team once again, Dark Night could only lament his fate silently.

’Curse that damn Benson and his dumb spy role. Why wasn’t he here and be outspoken so that I can be praised?’ Frustrated, Dark Night swore to make Benson do more trivial tasks once he returned.

How dare this Benson make him repeatedly lose face!

While Benson remained unaware of his miserable fate that would befall him, Xu Feng had already proceeded to explain the doubts in Kailey’s mind.

"Previously, I’ve declared that I would send a nuclear bomb to them." He said and waited a few seconds for them to recall it.

"Now, what is a nuclear bomb? It means striking them where it hurts, regardless of their defenses or manpower. And naturally, I have my means to go directly to their main base and let them have a taste of being exploded."

Almost immediately, the crowd erupted into cheers. With that clear and concise statement, it was obvious to them that Eclipse Nova had a card up his sleeve that could completely reverse the tide.

Xu Feng calmly waited for the crowd to subside their emotion. He wanted them to express their emotions openly without needing to suppress them.

’Oh, dear Luther. Thank you for appearing in the Divine News and reminding me that you are from the Dragon Wind Empire. I want to see how your Miracle Pavilion can sustain itself if I directly cut off your source of supplies.’ Xu Feng sneered inwardly.

Want to attack and siege his guild’s town?

Then he would gladly return the gesture by eliminating their source of wealth.

He had no need for their base city or whatever town they might be trying to cook up.

He only wanted to see how their feeble chamber of commerce could remain if there was nothing to sell.

"Everyone starts to gather up and receive the necessary items from our Guild Captain. This is a sweeping storm, so make sure to cover yourself well to avoid getting wet. After all, you wouldn’t want to get entangled in what is about to happen." Xu Feng teased and raised his hand up, instantly igniting their desire and enthusiasm to retaliate.

"To hell with the Miracle Pavilion!"
