Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1466: The Retaliation Part 17

Chapter 1466: The Retaliation Part 17

"What’s going on here?" Xu Feng had long undid his disguise as he asked someone nearby.

At first, nobody was paying attention to him.

However, some recognized the voice as familiar.

"It’s Guild Leader Lin Feng." Silent Whisper from the Silver Wind Guild glanced up and called him out.

Sure enough, as soon as the name "Lin Feng" was said, everyone paused their activity and looked up.

"You’re finally here..." Silver Wind Guild Leader, Gentle Wind, stared at him with an aggrieved expression.

"It took you a long time." Autumn Breeze, aka Zhao Kai’s sister, Zhao Xin, also stood up and gazed at him with a pitiful look.

"What’s going on?" Xu Feng was confused by their almost depressed state. Usually, these two were quite confident and prideful. If anything, they were the egotistic type to look down on others.

Of course, they would never reveal their true emotions to others.

"Guild Leader... they know about our secret dungeon expedition." Kailey approached Xu Feng from behind and whispered.

Initially, he didn’t react much to that news. After all, their raid completion was already announced globally by the system.

But then he paused.

’Oh, right...’ He finally recalled how the two of them asked if they could join as well. Unfortunately, not only did he completely ignore them, but he also didn’t reply to their messages either.

What Kailey just warned him wasn’t that their action had been exposed.

Instead, she wanted him to be cautious of his next response, lest the situation might escalate.

A few seconds later, Xu Feng chuckled heartily while gesturing for them to head upstairs to talk.

They were technically still in the guild’s lobby and could potentially risk news leakage.

Both Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze nodded in agreement.

"You can check out the Training Hall in the meantime." Gentle Wind turned to Steelshot and Silent Whisper and suggested.

"They’re allowed to train, right?" She then glanced at Xu Feng for permission.

"Naturally." Xu Feng obviously wouldn’t reject her when it was such a trivial method.

"What about RavenKnight?" Autumn Breeze chimed in and suggested one of her commanders from the Dark Legion Guild.

"Of course." He nodded and glanced at RavenKnight.

"This should be our second meeting since the large-scale dungeon raid, right?"

"That is correct, Guild Leader Lin Feng." RavenKnight smiled. Back then, he had to feign ignorance of Autumn Breeze’s identity and was rather aloof to avoid any suspicion.

"I see that you have improved tremendously." Xu Feng praised.

"Not at all." RavenKnight shook his head. "When compared to Guild Leader Lin Feng, I’m still lacking."

This was his heartfelt response.

’The aura he exuded when compared to leading the raid has increased substantially.’ RavenKnight found it hard to believe he was a Cleric and not some Specialist or high DPS class.

How could a healer be so threatening?

Sometime later, the three of them left the guild hall for the training hall.

As for the rest, they headed upstairs to have a more private conversation.

"Do you need some drinks?" Kailey asked the group. She clearly had no intention of staying and listening in on their discussion.

"Have the tea leaves grown yet?" Xu Feng asked.

The Fragrance Tea leaves that were being cultivated in a specific land under Madam Ying’s instruction should be ready by now.

They grew fast, with the only problem being that unsuitable cultivation land would result in fruitless results.

"They’re ready, Guild Leader." Kailey nodded and explained that the first batch of leaves had been harvested.

"Serve them to our valuable guests."

"Right away!"

Shortly after Kailey left, both Gentle Wind and Autumn Breeze crossed their legs with a displeased look.

"Valuable guests?" Gentle Wind repeated his words with a tinge of sarcasm.

"So valuable that we’re ignored and left in the dustbin." Autumn Breeze smiled bitterly.

"..."

Although he knew they were being sarcastic and exaggerating their plight, he was left without a choice but to rebuke.

In this kind of scenario, the best possible course of action was to stay mute.

’If I don’t talk, what can you do to me?’ He thought to himself.

Sure enough, the two were dissatisfied with the lack of response.

They glanced at each other and communicated in silence using their expressions alone.

’This rat bastard is impossible to scam.’ Gentle Wind pursed her lips.

’I don’t even know where he learned that from? It’s been like that since a certain day.’ Autumn Breeze was flabbergasted. She still recalled the incident on her grandfather’s birthday.

That event was still haunting some members of the Zhao Family to this date.

Autumn Breeze shook her head. She then held a solemn expression and relayed what she had learned.

"Anyway, almost every Super Guild had come to an agreement to temporarily halt any aggression toward other guilds until the situation in the Divine World had de-escalated."

"Hah!" Xu Feng cracked a laugh upon hearing that. If that was a joke from her, then she really got it down the bag.

"It’s not a joke." Autumn Breeze exhaled deeply. "We have verified the information, and they have indeed ceased aggression."

"But?" Xu Feng leaned in closer, clearly waiting for the "but" moment.

Sure enough, Autumn Breeze bit her lips and explained, "Because of the cease agreement, any Super Guild being targeted by others would be subjected to a collective aggression by the masses."

"And let me guess? You have been informed as a messenger to warn me to not do anything toward Razor Technology, right?" He smirked with a cold expression. Such tactics were so blatantly obvious and overused that it wasn’t hard to guess the true intention of this so-called cease-fire agreement.

Their Vanguard Guild was in the spotlight for too long, especially with the latest global announcement of their raid completion in Extreme Mode difficulty.

Although none had heard of it, the fact that it existed proved that the Extreme Mode was definitely more difficult than Hell Mode.

Autumn Breeze was silent, mainly because he was absolutely spot on.
