Upon sensing the danger, Karoos clicked his tongue and immediately flapped his wings downward, creating a large gust beneath as he flew higher.

Unfortunately for Karoos, the blast wasn’t a single target, but rather an AoE radius attack.

The light shone everywhere, and Karoos’ left foot was hit by it.

A sizzling sound resounded, and Karoos gritted his teeth in frustration. He wasn’t heavily injured by the attack, but the fact that he was the first to be injured made him infuriated.

He, a mighty Demon Lord, was injured by an ant with the strength of only Tier 2!

His face twisted into an ugly expression.

His wings quickly turned darker in color.

Then, in a swooshing sound, Karoos appeared in front of Xu Feng.

’Danger!’ Xu Feng was alarmed by its increased speed. He quickly tried to cast a barrier to defend himself.

"Who talks so much in a fight?" He spat out a mouthful of blood. "Are you a kid or someone who needs to be stroked constantly?"

Almost immediately, Karoos’ smirk vanished. What replaced it was a menacing expression that threatened to devour Xu Feng alive.

"Jeez, aura farming now, aren’t you?" Xu Feng snorted and also did the same. He flashed a menacing expression and taunted. "Come at me, you big idiot buffoon."

"You’re dead meat!"

Karoos roared and propelled himself toward Xu Feng without any regard.

’Bingo!’ Xu Feng stood in place, his eyes subtly glancing at the ward that he had laid in advance when he was being tossed around like a rag doll.
