Chapter 1545: Legacy Era Part 15
"You can’t just leave, Serene Paragon." Nocturnal Leader, Lionfield, suddenly said when he noticed her intention.
"We’re in an alliance and agreed to siege the Haven Wind Town. If you leave now, we’re going to lose a heavy DPS that could make things easier for us."
Although it wasn’t explicitly stated, Lionfield was essentially threatening that Paragon would receive full blame in case their siege were to fail.
It would have been fine if she were absent. But now that she had made it here, there was no chance he would allow such a strong player to leave. Unfortunately, Lionfield had made one critical mistake.
"Do you think I cared?" Serene Paragon flashed a cold expression. "Not even the Guild Leader dared to use such a tone to speak to me. Who do you think you are?"
"You!" Lionfield’s face burned red from the embarrassment and humiliation he was receiving.
How dare she refuse to comply with this large alliance?
"You have a problem?" Serene Paragon narrowed her eyes and exuded a large killing intent.
Lionfield instantly flinched. His voice caught in his throat as he wanted to say something, but his instinct was telling him to shut up.
He tried to look at the other leaders to assist him, only to end up receiving none.
No matter which leader he turned to, they always pretended that they had something else to do.
"Get that Knight Lancer over there!"
"Shoot your spells at him!"
The others also decided to focus on their own battle.
’Bunch of wussies!’ Lionfield was frustrated by their behavior.
THUD!
Serene Paragon suddenly made a loud step, and Lionfield quickly retreated.
But to his surprise, Serene Paragon was actually leaving the scene and wasn’t chasing him.
Needless to say, his frightened act was seen by the majority in the scene.
Of course, those from Nocturnal chose to become blind at that very moment to avoid his fury due to embarrassment.
However, there was one person who was looking at Lionfield as if he were a prey.
"Those who don’t honor deserve nothing but death." Lightning Blade’s aura gradually rose.
"Hmph, you’re wasted now." Lionfield snorted coldly. He wasn’t afraid of Lightning Blade since he definitely wasted a lot of stamina fighting Serene Paragon.
"Wasted?" Lightning Blade curled his lips upward. He could tell Serene Paragon only wanted to test their swordsmanship skill, so he never used any other skill.
The two of them were merely testing out swordplay, but for someone like Lionfield, he had no intention of limiting himself.
Revenant Domain Field!
Lightning Blade directly unleashed his Domain Field and summoned numerous sword ghosts. Simultaneously, those within the field were debuffed by 15%, with those nearby being 10%.
"What the heck is this?"
"What are these ghost swords and debuffs?"
"No, get these away from me!"
An unlucky healer was swarmed by multiple ghost swords. To make it worse for them, these ghost swords mimicked Lightning Blade’s movement and sword attacks.
The unfortunate healer couldn’t even last for more than 10 seconds before they succumbed to bleeding.
If one thought that was the end, they would be completely wrong.
The healer’s death was absorbed by the ghost swords, which transferred partial attributes and other stuff back to Lightning Blade.
The injuries that he sustained earlier from the sneak attack have fully recovered.
"A Domain Field player..." Lionfield’s forehead began to form a droplet of sweat.
It was no longer an unknown concept regarding Domain Field. And players had come to terms that the difference in Tiers stemmed from having a domain field or not.
Of course, there was now another thing that the player must strive to get, which would be obtaining a Legacy.
As for what exactly it was yet, players hadn’t been able to figure it out.
Many also doubted those who figured it out would spill the beans either.
This was critical information—something even those specialized in intelligence networks, such as the Miracle Pavilion, wouldn’t sell them at the moment.
"Everyone, leave the Domain Field vicinity!" Lionfield shouted and tried to flee.
Unfortunately, his movement became sluggish under the Revenant Domain Field.
At that moment, Lightning Blade’s eyes flashed in a cold light and disappeared from his spot.
The next second, he was already behind Lionfield and slashed his sword multiple times. Streaks of light flashed across, and nobody knew how many slashes had been dealt.
All they knew was that Lionfield’s health point dropped to 0 in the blink of an eye.
"Fuck... you’re telling me there’s another monster in the Vanguard Guild?"
"T-This is crazy."
"What kind of swordsman player is that?"
While the rest were dumbfounded by Lightning Blade’s display of power, they failed to notice Dark Night had already lurked up behind every squishy DPS class.
Like the assassin who stealthily killed their target and left the scene.
Dark Night performed consecutive kills without any of them uttering a single sound.
His hidden class, Shadow Lord, enabled him to remain in stealth and reset all his skills upon successful assassination. Of course, there was more to it, but that was enough for the current state.
When the healers finally noticed a large number of their DPS Classes were being killed anonymously, an alarm resounded.
"Quick, there’s an expert assassin among them. Our DPSes are being killed without sending out a notice to us."
’Tanks, quickly use your aggro skills to undo any stealth skills!"
"ON IT!" The tanks were about to activate their skills until they saw a rain of hellfire coming at them.
Kaboom!
The tanks couldn’t dodge and decided to use their shield to defend themselves, only to end up being killed in the process.
The magic spells not only ignored their defense attributes, but they also dealt true damage.
True damage meant that its attack ignored the player’s defense attribute completely and would do full damage.
"Sorry, but I don’t like tanks." Emerging from the shadow was none other than Blue Star, whose hidden class was Maelstrom. She was capable of high mobility while dealing explosive true damage.
The best part about Maelstrom was that it made her capable of accessing Mage’s skills to be combined with Gunner skills.
