Chapter 1593: Esports Tournament Part 20

The meeting was essentially concluded because everyone could discern that Xu Feng was simply there to announce his plan.

"Just let me know what to do." Herald Fist was the first to agree with the operation. He had had enough of the Super Guild’s arrogance.

With the Vanguard Guild as his ally, he could now confront them without needing to worry about losing badly.

RavenKnight seemed to be pondering, but was secretly looking at Zhao Xin for a signal. When he saw that she nodded her head, he immediately chimed in.

"Guild Leader Lin Feng is correct. We’re not some fish on the chopping board." RavenKnight stretched his neck.

"Isn’t it just Ethereal? It’s not like they could protect all their assets if we target multiple points."

"I’m not affiliated with any guilds, but I sure have enough influence to call for people to fight them. People in Paragon still listen to my voice." Serene Paragon sneered.

No Super Guilds were friendly with each other!

As long as the benefit was enough, they would immediately tear off the facade and go at each other’s throats.

Since Ethereal dared to do this kind of lowly move, it was just enough pretext for Paragon to act righteously and openly take over Ethereal’s businesses.

Not only would they have the high moral ground, but it would also help improve their strained relationship with Vanguard Guild.

’Hoh, I underestimated her as a mediator.’ Xu Feng wasn’t blind to her intention of bringing up Paragon’s name.

Who didn’t know Paragon had been hostile to the Vanguard Guild?

Everyone else kept quiet except for Herald Fist, who felt the need to support her sister.

"Paragon simply did what other guilds would do when they get blinded by profit. But they didn’t do anything else aggressive once it failed." Herald Fist said.

As the Guild Leader of Tyrant Fist Guild, he had also openly targeted other guilds for interests or compromised interests.

"How much did Paragon pay you?" Xu Feng joked.

He knew Herald Fist was trying to back up his sister, so it was a good opportunity to jab at him to lighten the atmosphere.

Sure enough, Herald Fist became embarrassed. It was indeed out of character for him to speak up for another guild.

"Alright, stop teasing him," Carmen warned softly. She knew he was simply defending her little sister, so it was quite immoral of Xu Feng to be teasing him for that.

Xu Feng nodded in agreement and began to explain his plan. "What do you think is Ethereal’s main focus right now?"

"The esports tournament." Everyone answered without hesitation.

"Precisely so. Now what will happen if they can no longer focus on it?" He snickered coldly.

Unlike the Vanguard Guild, which had the training hall simulation to freely practice, the Ethereal and others could only do on-field training.

In other words, they needed to claim a neutral map as their training ground and prevent others from entering.

For others, people would usually ignore them and even outright fight them for it.

However, Super Guilds were different.

Their words usually held tremendous weight. Aside from the Vanguard Guild, nobody else would really attempt to provoke them or even fight for the map ownership.

"I just knew it would be like this," Carmen smirked coldly and stretched her fingers. "Let’s raid their training ground."

"Raiding the training ground is fun." Herald Fist sneered.

The training ground was a neutral map, so there would be no defensive structures.

Moreover, they would be putting up banners that claimed the neutral map was free for all players. They would be fighting for the clause that enabled every player to get the chance and freedom to train without being blocked off.

The moral high ground was theirs, and even public support would be on their side.

It was truly a devious and wicked plan that only benefited them.

After all, they could always have their training conducted in the simulation and even rotate people to raid, whereas the Ethereal couldn’t afford to lose their precious time in defending the neutral map.

"Our Guild Commander here is eager to take the lead, so who else will join her?" Xu Feng gestured at Carmen and asked the rest.

"You’re not participating?" Zhao Xin raised an eyebrow in shock. She then pondered a bit and thought of something else.

"Could it be that the Honorary Elder would take the lead?"

Xu Feng nodded his head.

"Yes, Cool Wind will be taking the lead." He said calmly. Cool Wind was the persona and alias that everyone at present knew in the real world.

But most importantly, Cool Wind’s character had been set early on. He was the type who disdained disgraceful people and those who abuse power.

Granted that this incident had affected Gentle Wind severely, it was only natural that Cool Wind’s anger would be at its peak.

Not to mention, this was a great opportunity to bring fame to Cool Wind for the upcoming esports.

"Hmm, speaking of Cool Wind. Where is he?" Gentle Wind asked and glanced around.

"He’s busy messing with people," Carmen said and stared at Xu Feng mysteriously.

Those who were aware of Xu Feng’s identity understood the meaning, but those who didn’t were merely confused by the statement.

Either way, everyone was on the same page and didn’t mind the Vanguard Guild taking the banner.

After all, only the Vanguard Guild was considered the most fearless and ruthless to target Super Guilds without any qualms.

"Okay, we’ll gather our people and meet up in about an hour." Xu Feng clasped his hands and informed them. Since the city was still welcoming new people, it was inconvenient to move now.

"We’ll be there!" RavenKnight said.

"Then I’ll also—" Gentle Wind wanted to say her guild would join as well, but got interrupted.

"Nope, you’re staying put and watching the show." Xu Feng raised his hand and stopped her. "This issue concerns you, but there’s no need for you to do anything. Otherwise, there’s no point in having an alliance if you need to step up for yourself."
