Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1594: Esports Tournament Part 21

An hour later...

Xu Feng assumed his Cool Wind alias and met up with the elite teams.

Along with the elite teams were members from the Army Camp.

Everyone stood in their respective lines, each flashing a stern expression.

They had been briefed about their objective for the raid, and they were all infuriated.

Moreover, they were excited to see the rumored honorary elder in action.

After all, the majority in the lineup were new recruits who didn’t get the opportunity to play alongside Cool Wind. Some of the female recruits were fans of Cool Wind’s acting in the short drama.

’Now I remember why I rarely use this alias.’ Xu Feng seriously couldn’t handle such fervor and admiration from people.

He would much rather people behave treacherously or harbor hate toward him.

That way, he could simply retaliate and put them down.

However, these fans were the type that couldn’t resort to such moves.

As the saying goes, without the fans, you were basically nothing. Moreover, he couldn’t just beat up a smiling face or someone who harbors zero ill will.

"Okay, we’re setting out." Xu Feng announced once he saw everyone else was ready.

"Remember, our goal is not to kill but to disrupt. We’ll be the most annoying mosquitoes they will ever see in their lifetime." He exclaimed, sending everyone a quick reminder.

"Yes, Honorary Elder!"

"We’ll buzz the crap out of them!"

"Not even a bug splatter can get us!"

The Vanguard elites were excited that they could get the chance to pester those arrogant Super Guild punks.

It was such a bragging-rights moment that they could tell their friends about.

"OneManMedia, get your camera ready." Xu Feng turned to him and said softly.

"Rest assured, Sir." OneManMedia saluted. He had his camera ready all the time to stream whenever and wherever.

"Good, I won’t need to babysit what to do to paint Ethereal in a bad light, right?"

"Of course, Sir. I only stream honest content, and Ethereal making this kind of move needed to be exposed."

OneManMedia patted his chest and guaranteed top-notch quality. As someone who had seen such abuse drive others to suicide when working as a reporter, he refused to let the culprit get away.

He was powerless back then to even report the real culprit simply because they had a lot of money and connections.

However, times had changed. He could boldly and confidently expose these bastards without needing to worry about censorship.

This was what OneManMedia loved about his guild. They literally don’t give a flying damn about those in power.

’Hmph, scum bastards. Want to slander someone like this and expect to get away with it? Maybe next time!’ He sneered inwardly.

Sometime later, the group gathered by a private Teleport Platform.

The one that new players used to enter was built at the center, but this particular Teleport Platform was for the Vanguard Guild’s personal use.

Unless authorized by him, no other players except for the Vanguard Guild could access it.

Needless to say, there were now more exceptions to it, such as the Vanguard Guild’s alliance, albeit at a discounted price for usage.

Alliance was alliance, but money was money.

Never mix the two together; otherwise, it would get messy.

...

"Greetings, Honorary Elder." Herald Fist immediately greeted Xu Feng upon seeing his arrival.

"I didn’t make you all wait long, did I?" Xu Feng acknowledged his greetings and asked.

Aside from Herald Fist, there was also an elite team from the Tyrant Fist Guild, RavenKnight with his Dark Legion, and Serene Paragon.

Zhao Xin initially wanted to participate as well, but Xu Feng told her to accompany Gentle Wind.

One could never be so sure when they get slandered like this. He had no intention of risking anything.

"Where are we headed first?" Herald Fist clenched his fist and inquired.

"The Ethereal Training Ground near Blue Moon City." Xu Feng replied calmly. Blue Moon City’s neutral map had been upgraded to level 85.

It was the ideal experience-point farming map, but it also had the largest open field.

Within the open field, there were only a few large monsters that occasionally spawned, making it the best place for them to have simulated training for the 1st and 3rd sections.

The 1st section was battle royale, so a large open field could immerse their players more to gain experience in how to deal with other players during open areas.

As for the 3rd section, the Ethereal could use it to practice siege warfare with multiple teams.

After all, the Super Guild always had many teams under their control. They had the money to sustain and support many players, unlike the other lower guilds.

"Hmph, let’s get it."

"I cannot wait to ruin their training."

Soon, Xu Feng paid the teleportation fee and activated the platform, with the destination set in Blue Moon City.

Swoosh!

Flickers of light dazzled across the teleport platform at Blue Moon City.

Since everyone was wearing the Stealth Cloak and it was common wear to protect one’s identity, no players in the city found them suspicious.

"Alright, let’s go." Xu Feng buffed the team and had them go on their mount.

Mounts were no longer uncommon in the Divine World, but there were still some mounts who performed better than others.

The mounts they currently used were the most common because they didn’t want to attract attention until they had reached their destination.

15 minutes later...

Blue Moon City, Level 85 Neutral Map

CLANK! CLANK!

BOOM! BAM! POW!

In a nearby forest, Xu Feng and the rest lowered themselves. They glanced at the field ahead of them.

"As expected, they stamped their guild’s flag on the ground to signify that the area is restricted." Carmen hissed coldly.

"It’s good that they’re all gathered here. They have their practice, and we’ll also have our own." Xu Feng chuckled in amusement.

"Remember, disrupting them is also a form of tactic. You can totally use it in battle royale or even siege war. Ragebaiting is a form of mental attack to ruin their cooperation and combat state." He reminded them kindly.
