Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 791: A Drink For A Human?

Chapter 791: A Drink For A Human?

A few hours ago, in the training hall, a man and woman were sparring with each other. The man had a slave collar around him, while the beautiful yet fierce ghoul woman was dressed in a simple blue training gown that revealed her slender arms and a glimpse of her ample breasts and succulent thighs.

"Looking so tired already? I am just getting warmed up," Mira snickered with a smug smile as she walked around an exhausted Damien.

"Right….Anybody two entire realms above me can say….the same thing…" Damien said with a shake of his head while trying to catch his breath. He had been sparring with her for more than an hour, and it was no surprise that he couldn't match her endurance, considering how massive her nethereal energy reserves were.

Damien wasn't using his Anti-God Arts at all since he knew he couldn't use them in his upcoming slave duel.

He was now at the fifth level of the Heaven Ethereal Realm and was using whatever ethereal skills he had to train with Mira.

However, he had to admit she was quite skilled in combat to the point he couldn't find any fault. Surprisingly enough, her weapons were a pair of gauntlet knives attached to her forearms. Whenever she needed it, the blades within these gauntlets would come out and run over her fist to look like a single, large claw.

It made her seem like she had quite the wild side even more. And dodging such dangerous blades, even with his lightning speed, was quite the task, considering how she wasn't going easy on him at all.

But he didn't mind since the harder it was, the more he would learn.

Mira openly teased him about his stamina, but inwardly she was astonished that there wasn't a single scratch on his body.

The first time she sparred with him, he ended up with a lot of scratches from her blades as she purposefully didn't go easy on him at all with her movement speed.

However, she maintained the same speed throughout the entire week, and as days passed, the less he was getting injured. And today, he didn't get injured once despite sparring for an hour.

Any other person in his shoes would have already died a hundred times while this half-human, half-ghoul man before her managed to skillfully dodge every single attack she sent his way. How talented must one be to quickly adapt and even be so insanely fast for his cultivation?

"Hmph, I never used my true speed. Otherwise, you would have already been in the grave, and Master would have my head. But not bad…considering I limited my speed to that of Lehron's slave."

"Then I am in the clear, right? I didn't get injured once this time," Damien said with a subtle smile as he wiped the sweat drops off his forehead.

"Don't get smug already. Did you forget his slave can use his ethereal manifestation while you can't? That's a huge disadvantage right there. I still don't know how you're not the least worried about this," Mira said with a shake of her head.

Damien softly chuckled as he looked up at the ceiling with a glazed expression, "I am worried. But worrying more won't do me any good. I have to look out for my aunt and also make sure you don't lose those fiery hands of yours."

Mira's eyes fluttered as she didn't expect him to still work so hard while thinking about saving her hands. Who was he to worry about her hands? It was not like she needed him to look out for her too.

"Nevermind. Training is over for today. You should rest before you drop," Mira said with a huff as she walked towards the exit.

"Over? I can still go on for a while if you want," Damien said with a look of surprise since, for the last few days, she would keep on pushing him to the extreme no matter how exhausted he was. So her abruptly calling off the training came as a surprise to him.

"No need. I don't want you to die from exhaustion and get blamed for that," Mira said with a casual wave of her hand as she went out.

Damien chuckled as he shook his head and decided to take a nice hot bath to freshen up. As a cultivator, he could simply use his ethereal energy to clean himself up, but nothing could ever beat the comfort and satisfaction one would get from a hot bath.

Mira walked through the corridors in search of a certain someone, and finally, her eyes lit up as she found an old woman dressed in a simple dark purple tunic going through records with focused eyes.

She was none other than the Clan Elder, Jayna, though her attire would make one wonder why she was dressed as simply as a maid does.

"Aunt Jayna!" Mira rushed in with an eager look as Jayna softly smiled and looked at her, "My, my. What brings you here, child? Was there something you needed?"

Mira looked around as if to make sure nobody else was nearby, and then after some hesitation, she asked in a low voice, "Uhmm…Do you know the ingredients required to make a drink that would revitalize a human in the Heaven realm?"

Jayna's brows furrowed as if she wasn't expecting such a question.

Mira saw her confused expression and immediately added, "I am only asking because that halfling won't stop pestering me about getting something to drink for him. I just want him to keep quiet and train after getting him what he wanted."

If Damien heard this, he surely would wonder if this woman was in her right mind since he for sure never asked anything from her.

"Ohh, I see," Jayna nodded with realization and then said with a light smile, "I may know something. You can then just tell one of the servants here to prepare it, and then you can give it to him discreetly, or I can do it as well. It wouldn't be good for our matriarch if others found that we are preparing drinks for a slave of the clan."
