Chapter 102
Chapter 102
In the blink of an eye, June had arrived, and He Qingqi was back at school preparing for the final exams. The courses in the second semester of her sophomore year required her to film her own work. He Qingqi gathered a few people to form a team, and their final product received high praise from the academy’s teachers, earning her a bit of attention at school for her professional skills.
The web series in which Zhuo Zhiwei starred was receiving rave reviews. Although her acting was still a bit inexperienced, it had an inexplicable charm. After a few months, her popularity surged, and she even seemed to be overshadowing Tao Jinghan. Various invitations and engagements came flooding in.
With all this busyness, they hadn’t seen each other in two months. The overwhelming success of the web series left Zhuo Zhiwei itching with the desire to stand in the spotlight holding hands with He Qingqi. So, they agreed to meet at 4 p.m. today to discuss the matter of going public.
Zhuo Zhiwei returned early today and took a nap for an hour. She lay comfortably in her soft bed, surrounded by the faint scent of He Qingqi’s familiar shampoo. She slept soundly, her lips curving into an unconscious smile.
She glanced at the clock—it was only two o’clock. She thought that the people at He Qingqi’s school must have become accustomed to seeing minor celebrities like herself. As a close friend, visiting the school seemed quite natural. Making a quick decision, Zhuo Zhiwei called her assistant.
She wanted He Qingqi to see her the moment she arrived.
Soon enough, Zhuo Zhiwei’s chauffeured van was parked at the gate of He Qingqi’s school.
Although a few curious glances were cast in her direction, it wasn’t as chaotic as it might be in other places where crowds could easily form. Zhuo Zhiwei smiled softly, recalling that He Qingqi had told her she didn’t have any classes this afternoon and had mentioned her favorite classroom. Without any hindrance, Zhuo Zhiwei found her.
Sunlight poured through the windows, illuminating the space. He Qingqi sat with her head slightly lowered, holding a book, her hair glinting a shade of golden under the bright light, a little too radiant.
Zhuo Zhiwei’s breath caught in her throat, and her heartbeat skipped a beat. She instinctively lightened her steps, afraid to disturb the scene before her.
But someone else had no such concern. A girl in a cheongsam moved gracefully into the room, the hem of her dress swaying, and the sound of her high heels slowly echoed through the classroom until she stopped right in front of He Qingqi.
A shadow blocked the light in front of her. He Qingqi closed her book and looked up, puzzled, to see a beautiful young woman she didn’t recognize.
The girl was wearing a dark red cheongsam that accentuated her slim waist and curvaceous figure. Her lips curled in a faint, nonchalant smile, exuding an air of effortless allure. “Senior He Qingqi.”
He Qingqi blinked in surprise and put down her camera. “Do you need something?” Glancing up at her, He Qingqi couldn’t help but notice the girl’s chest and, in line with her principles, immediately stood up and stepped back. She added, “Do we know each other?”
“You don’t know me.” The girl’s eyes narrowed slightly, a seductive smile playing on her lips. “But I know you.”
“So, what do you need?” He Qingqi’s tone now sounded a bit more distant.
The girl’s expression froze for a moment. She was momentarily annoyed. Throughout her life, her looks, figure, and people skills had always made things go her way. She had rarely encountered someone like He Qingqi, who spoke to her in such a cold manner.
However, she quickly composed herself. After all, He Qingqi was a woman, and a capable one at that. She silently cursed herself, realizing she had unconsciously assumed that He Qingqi liked women based on some gossip she had come across while researching her.
All of this passed in a fleeting moment, and the girl quickly recovered her charming demeanor. “I was hoping you could do me a favor.”
“A favor?” He Qingqi was slightly puzzled. She didn’t refuse outright, but neither did she agree. “What kind of favor?”
“I’d like you to take some private photos of me. Since you’re so good at filming, taking a few photos shouldn’t be hard, right? I want to capture my youth, my youthful…” she said candidly.
Private photos? He Qingqi’s gaze gradually grew colder, and she clenched her fingers slightly, the expression on her face hardening as if she had caught someone in the act.
Interrupting harshly, Zhuo Zhiwei’s voice cut through the air, “There’s no need to ask, she won’t agree.”
The girl blinked, surprised and a bit annoyed. Just as she was about to retort and ask who Zhuo Zhiwei thought she was, her gaze met a pair of deep, inky black eyes—so dark they seemed endless, yet incredibly beautiful.
That face was even more stunning than it appeared on television, with a faint, ethereal quality like the pale light of the moon. Zhuo Zhiwei held her head slightly high, exuding an air of regal authority.
The girl, losing her usual composure, stammered, “Z-Zhuo Zhiwei?”
Then, gathering her wits, she frowned in displeasure. “Even if you’re her friend, you can’t just reject people on her behalf, right? I didn’t make any unreasonable request.”
Zhuo Zhiwei looked at her seriously and spoke slowly, “Yes, you did.” Beneath her calm exterior, jealousy simmered, and she bit her lip, struggling to suppress her emotions.
The moment He Qingqi saw Zhuo Zhiwei, her heart leapt with joy, her eyes sparkling as she hesitated to speak.
They were in public, so she couldn’t be too obvious.
Seeing the girl’s reaction, He Qingqi turned to her, matching her serious tone, “She can.”
The two of them echoed each other, leaving the girl furious. Feeling humiliated, she forced a couple of awkward laughs. “Forget it then, I’ll find someone else.”
As she left the classroom, she quickly posted her experience on Weibo.
Now, only He Qingqi and Zhuo Zhiwei remained in the classroom. He Qingqi joyfully wrapped her arms around Zhuo Zhiwei’s waist. “Weiwei! Why are you here? I thought we weren’t meeting until four!”
Zhuo Zhiwei snorted, her tone a bit sarcastic. “Am I interrupting something good?” Though she could tell He Qingqi didn’t know the girl, she was still annoyed by the thought of all the admirers vying for He Qingqi’s attention when she wasn’t around.
He Qingqi blinked innocently before laughing brightly, her voice teasing, “Weiwei, are you jealous?”
Zhuo Zhiwei huffed again and turned to leave.
He Qingqi quickly grabbed her from behind and kissed her ear softly. “Come on, Weiwei, don’t be mad. Look at me, alright? It’s been so long since we’ve seen each other—don’t you miss me?”
At those words, Zhuo Zhiwei felt a pang of sadness and gave He Qingqi a little shove. “You’re the one to talk. If I didn’t miss you, I wouldn’t have come here, and then what do I find?”
She tugged lightly on He Qingqi’s ear, torn between wanting to be stern and being too gentle. “Tell me, if I hadn’t been here, would you have agreed to her?”
“I swear I’m innocent!” He Qingqi protested with a pitiful look. “I only asked out of politeness and didn’t interrupt her out of courtesy. I would never have agreed to it.”
Suddenly, an idea struck He Qingqi. She smiled mischievously and clung to Zhuo Zhiwei like glue, whispering playfully in her ear, “How about I take some pictures of you instead?”
“When we’re done with everything else,” she added suggestively.
Zhuo Zhiwei laughed coldly. “Fine, but this time I’m in charge.”
The sky gradually darkened, and the sea breeze blew away the day’s lingering heat, making passersby reach for their jackets.
He Qingqi, however, did the opposite. She stripped herself bare, as did the person beside her, and the heat in the room swelled, mingling with the faint sounds of labored breathing, like a mist filling the air.
Lying back in the tub, her legs stretched along the sides, the water had long been drained, leaving the surface damp with something else entirely.
Zhuo Zhiwei’s slim frame bent over, her sharp shoulder blades prominently visible, looking beautiful.
He Qingqi’s gaze filled with fascination as she traced her fingers along them. She sighed softly, “Harder…”
Zhuo Zhiwei paused for a moment, then focused more intently.
He Qingqi’s hand wandered up her back, brushing against her neck and teasing the strands of her hair.
She arched her back slightly, the hardness of the tub pressing uncomfortably into her legs. In this moment, she seemed almost desperate.
Zhuo Zhiwei looked up, licking her moist lips. Her clear eyes gazed at He Qingqi, making her heart skip a beat, especially at the sight of her flawless, pale skin.
She gripped the edge of the bathtub, her lips moving slightly. Zhuo Zhiwei glanced down, the corner of her lips subtly curved with a hint of pride.
“What’s the matter? Can’t hold it in anymore?”
He Qingqi stared directly at her, admitting without hesitation, “I can’t hold it in.”
Zhuo Zhiwei was momentarily stunned, clearly not expecting such a straightforward response. Seeing the suggestive look in her eyes, she unconsciously averted her gaze, her cheeks flushing with a rosy hue.
She bit her lip in embarrassment and frustration, “What… what are you saying!”
He Qingqi imitated her tone, “Saying… saying I really like you!”
As soon as she finished speaking, she grabbed Zhuo Zhiwei’s wrist, pulling her down onto herself. Their equally fair, long legs intertwined, and a domineering, fervent kiss eagerly landed on Zhuo Zhiwei’s body.
He Qingqi’s slender hand spread out, rubbing against her delicate spot. She emphasized her words, urging, “Sister, my dear sister, can you hurry? Qingqi has missed you so much! Still waiting for…”
A mist of confusion clouded Zhuo Zhiwei’s eyes as she tilted her head in a daze. She felt He Qingqi’s lips against her earlobe, the scene strangely familiar, as if it was buried somewhere deep in her memory.
Before she could recall it, He Qingqi, breathing heavily, turned the tables, whispering in her ear, “Still waiting to make you cry from pleasure.”
“Be good, baby, wrap your legs around my waist.”
Zhuo Zhiwei’s heart skipped a beat, and her awareness snapped back. Her eyes widened as she recalled how she had somehow ended up underneath again, despite agreeing…
“He Qingqi!” She glared at her in frustration.
She pushed He Qingqi away, wrapped herself in a towel, and with proud, long strides, walked off.
Leaving He Qingqi behind, utterly helpless. “Weiwei, come back. I’m stuck in this limbo…”
Zhuo Zhiwei huffed, “Deal with it yourself.”
He Qingqi: “???”
Reaching her limit, He Qingqi raised an eyebrow, then strode over with her long legs, quickly embracing Zhuo Zhiwei from behind. The two fell onto the bed together.
Zhuo Zhiwei let out a brief shriek, “Ah!”
But soon found herself flipped under He Qingqi. Gazing up at her delicate features, Zhuo Zhiwei suddenly felt at ease and relaxed her body.
She half-lowered her eyelids, smiling faintly. “Didn’t I tell you to handle it yourself?”
He Qingqi wrinkled her nose and leaned in closer. Their noses touched, and an inexplicable tremor stirred within them. The lingering sensation intensified with their deepening reaction.
He Qingqi’s eyes darkened. “That’s not something you get to decide.”
