Chapter 483: Telling the truth: Polygamous relationship

When the gaze of Yue Kai stopped on the style of clothing Shen Xinya was wearing, his expression froze for an instant before his eyes widened like two spotlights meant to guide ships to safe harbor. A flash of disbelief shone in his eyes and his mouth opened and closed as if he wanted to say something but as if he was subconsciously restraining himself from doing something that might be a mistake.

The scarf, the deep black tight jeans, and even the cream-colored woolen boots.... All the clothes Shen Xinya was wearing now perfectly matched the little clues Yue Kai had managed to pick up on just before he left that room where Xie Feng and the woman he thought was Xie Yao were having fun!

Was Xie Feng cheating on the lovely, angelic, and kind Xie Yao? When such a thought flashed in the mind of Yue Kai, a fire of anger began to flood his chest in such a way that he felt it might burst out if he didn’t somehow release it!

Hu Chen was about to ask Yue Kai what was wrong with him to act so weirdly but before he could finish his words he saw the always calm Yue Kai raising his right hand and pointing Xie Feng directly at the tip of his nose.

As if that wasn’t enough, he was even yelling at him in 100% real anger! He even stopped calling him "Elder brother Xie" like he always did!

It didn’t matter if it was Xie Yao, Hu Chen, or Xiao Luo; who had known Yue Kai for a few years now. It didn’t matter if it was Gu Qianxue, Yao Mei, or Shen Xinya; who had only met Yue Kai recently.... If anyone dared to call Xie Feng "bastard" that person would definitely have to pay a heavy price considering the meaning that word meant to him. However, when Yue Kai said it, Xie Feng simply smiled bitterly and did not feel angry at all; in fact, he was glad that Yue Kai was angry like that for Xie Yao as he was proving to be a true friend and not one with a fake face.

But the words spoken by Yue Kai made some people inside the room roughly understand what was going on. After all, those present were not stupid.

While Xie Yao and Gu Qianxue’s eyes flashed with a glint of understanding, everyone else except Yao Mei looked at Xie Feng and Shen Xinya with wide eyes as if they had thought of something wild.

Xie Feng sighed and his shoulders slumped slightly as he realized that there was no way to hide this whole peculiar relationship situation surrounding him anymore.

"Forget it, this is good too. At least, there will be no need to hide anymore." Xie Feng said aloud as he talked to himself and shook his head.

Xie Feng’s words were naturally heard by everyone as the private box was deathly silent. However, the contents were not understood by anyone except those involved in some way.

"This... Elder brother Xie..." Xiao Luo seemed to want to say something but was hesitating as he looked at Xie Feng with complicated eyes.

"Xiao Luo, wait a moment." Xie Feng raised his hand to stop whatever his friend wanted to say. He looked at the others and said in a serious voice, "Everyone, please sit down. I will soon explain to you some things about my life that I have been hiding so far for different reasons."

Xie Feng’s words did indeed serve to calm Yue Kai down a bit. However, there was still anger in his eyes as he looked at him.

"Elder brother Xie, if you can’t explain this, then I, Yue Kai, will no longer be your brother." He said as he snorted and pulled his girlfriend to sit on the two free seats next to the table.

The corner of Xie Feng’s mouth twitched a couple of times and seeing his helpless expression Xie Yao couldn’t help but cover her mouth and laugh softly as she said amusedly, "Big brother Xie Feng, you really should see your face right now."

Seeing the proud, arrogant, and even highhanded Xie Feng who did not even fear the true gods acting so helpless was a truly new sight for Xie Yao even after all these years of living together.

"Girl, you dare to laugh?" Xie Feng looked at her like a predator eyeing its prey and Xie Yao immediately froze like a little mouse being watched by a hungry cat.

She and Gu Qianxue had experienced Xie Feng’s "punishments" for teasing him after all.

Xie Feng finally sighed. He preferred not to have this conversation with Su Qi Qi present as although she seemed to be a decent and nice girl appearances were deceiving. The problem was that if Xie Feng asked her to leave now she might get angry and start spreading rumors; after all, Su Qi Qi was no fool, she had definitely drawn conclusions on her own after observing the exchanges of words just now.

"By the way, where is that Xue Nai girl?" Xie Feng asked before diving into the well.

"Oh, Xue Nai? She said she was playing SO and not to disturb her." The corner of Xie Yao’s mouth twitched as she said not knowing whether to laugh or cry, "Big Brother Xie Feng, that girl needs to get a reprimand or else she’ll start to believe that the heavens have no boundaries."
