Chapter 482: Chapter 487: Old Madman Destroys the Sovereign

The powerful figures of the Yin Yang Sect had arrived. There were seven or eight of them, all Grand Elders capable of intimidating an entire region!

It seemed as if everything was under their control; they had already pronounced the fate of those present. Their gazes were cold, merciless, and cruel.

“Ignorant fools! You have repeatedly provoked our Yin Yang Sect. Even tearing you to pieces a thousand times would not be enough to wash away this disgrace!” one of them shouted harshly.

The death of the sacred lady had been one thing; they were far away then and unable to offer aid. But the Saint Heir had died right before their eyes, publicly slaughtered. It was like a direct slap to their faces.

What supreme Great Sect in the Central States had ever had its future successors eliminated in such a manner? For the Yin Yang Sect, this was a monumental humiliation.

This was destined to become a laughingstock. With both the Saint Heir and the sacred lady eliminated by a single person, the Yin Yang Sect would be disgraced for a long time to come.

“When you all came, did you happen to hear a detailed report?” the big black dog asked with a sly, mocking grin.

Could it be that they don’t know that the old madman stared a Dragon Transformation Secret Realm stage eight expert to death? This was the doubt in the hearts of Li Heishui and the others.

“We learned that a great battle took place here and that a Great Elder of our sect perished. Who is responsible? Come out and face your death!” A Grand Elder’s gaze was as cold and sharp as a blade.

They hadn’t been informed by their own people. Instead, they had heard en route that a great battle had occurred here, and two of their sect’s Great Elders had been inexplicably killed.

The person sent to deliver the message had failed to find them and couldn’t convey all that had occurred. As a result, these important figures had no understanding of the situation.

The big black dog chuckled sinisterly. “You’ve all worked hard coming from so far away. I’ll be sure to give you a good send-off later.”

“You damn dog, you’re purely courting death! How dare you spout such nonsense in our presence? Later, we’ll skin you alive and pull out your tendons!” one of them斥道.

“Are you so certain you’ll defeat us?” Li Heishui asked.

“You ignorant young whelp! Even your sect ancestor wouldn’t dare speak to me like this,” a prominent figure said, his face as grim as still water. He took slow steps forward, preparing to act.

“Pah! Do you think you’re the Great Emperor Wushi or the Great Emperor Hengyu? Aren’t you afraid of biting your tongue with such arrogant words?” Li Heishui sneered. His grandfather was one of the northern region’s Thirteen Great Bandits, a man of extremely distinguished status.

All the onlookers murmured amongst themselves. The individuals who had arrived from the Yin Yang Sect were all astonishingly powerful, having surpassed the Dragon Transformation Secret Realm. Furthermore, true Sovereigns were present to anchor their lineup, making it extraordinarily formidable.

However, not having witnessed the old madman’s strength, their ignorance might be understandable. But for those who had seen it firsthand, they knew that even a supreme Sovereign would likely meet a bitter end here.

BOOM!

The Grand Elder of the Yin Yang Sect attacked directly, thrusting out a massive hand to crush Li Heishui alive.

“Humph!”

Ye Fan snorted coldly. He swung his golden fist to meet the attack, fearless even though his opponent dared to try and seize him with a bare hand.

DANG!

The golden fist struck as if hitting solid iron, sending the Grand Elder’s large hand flying upwards, leaving several bloody marks upon it.

Everyone gasped at this scene. The sacred body’s physical strength was too formidable! He could even engage in close combat with Grand Elders from a supreme Great Sect who had surpassed the Dragon Transformation Secret Realm.

“This… is unbelievable!”

“What a monster! Could it be true, as the legends say, that his physical body rivals that of a Peacock King? But he has only just entered the Four Extremes secret boundary!”

Nearly everyone was dumbfounded. The hand of a Grand Elder from a supreme Great Sect was bleeding. The outcome was horrifying.

“Hahaha…” Li Heishui laughed heartily,揶揄道, “You old fool, spouting such arrogant nonsense, looking down on even my sect ancestor. Turns out you’re not all that.”

“Humph!”

The Sovereign among them finally stepped forward. His gaze swept coldly over them as he slapped a hand downward. The massive hand, fully ten zhang across, descended to cover all of them.

DANG!

Ye Fan remained fearless. Standing in the void, he swung his golden fist upwards. His entire body erupted with a dazzling golden light that冲霄而上.

A deafening crash resounded. The hand of the Yin Yang Sect’s Sovereign clearly trembled but quickly regained its composure. He flipped his hand, and endless Divine Radiance flowed down like ten thousand great waterfalls.

This was overwhelming magical power, enough to suppress Ye Fan hundreds of times over. It was terrifying to the extreme. Each strand of Divine Radiance pierced through the void, like tens of thousands of torrential rivers of divine energy rushing forth.

Such is a sovereign who can command the world, overturning clouds and summoning rain with a flick of his wrist. A single thought from them was enough to make rivers of blood flow and mountains of corpses pile up on the land.

Ye Fan retreated using an extremely fast motion technique, quickly arriving beside the old madman. Against a Sovereign, he had no hope; the pressure was incomparable.

Sovereigns who can look down upon the world, whose roars can shatter mountains and rivers. The world venerates them; they are the masters of Sacred Lands and supreme Great Sects.

BOOM!

A vast, white expanse of tens of thousands of divine energy waterfalls descended terrifyingly, engulfing Ye Fan and his companions.

“Killing you would be too merciful! We will slowly refine you and extract your souls!” the Yin Yang Sect’s Sovereign said, his voice chilling to the bone, intending to obliterate them bit by bit.

Both the Saint Heir and the sacred lady had been slain. This was an enormous disgrace that the people of the Yin Yang Sect could not endure, and they would face immense pressure because of it in the future.

“There is no need for you to act, Your Excellency. Allow me!” another Grand Elder spoke up.

Although they were all Grand Elders, those who had crossed the natural chasm to become supreme Sovereigns—comparable to a Peacock King—possessed an exceedingly transcendent status that demanded reverence.

The Sovereign withdrew his divine energy and stepped back two paces. Two others advanced, one of them sneering, “If I strike, all of you will be annihilated, body and soul, and die in agony.”

“And you think we’re afraid of you?” the big black dog roared, not a hint of fear in its eyes. Instead, they glinted with excitement.

“I’ll give you a chance. Kneel here, willingly become Yin Slaves, and I will preserve a shred of your divine sense!” This Grand Elder’s gaze swept over each of them.

“Except for the sacred body—he must die. Not even a Heavenly King, were he to come, could save him!” another person added coldly.

“You’re all bad people…” the pitiful little girl said timidly, her large, black-gem-like eyes filled with unease.

“Kneel or not, the choice is yours,” the elder harrumphed coldly.

“Divine One, please, just swat them dead! Otherwise, I’d want to do it myself, but alas, I lack the strength,” Li Heishui muttered beside the old madman.

The people of the Yin Yang Sect stood high and mighty, looking down upon Ye Fan, the old madman, and the others. Killing intent filled the air, growing increasingly cold.

“In that case, I will break your legs, making you kneel on the ground and then slowly refining you,” the two Grand Elders from the Yin Yang Sect sneered mercilessly.

Far away, the onlookers exchanged glances, but none dared to speak. That strange man was too terrifying. Nobody dared to say anything rash, and not a single person stepped forward to offer a warning.

“You ignorant fools who don’t know death when you see it!” The two Grand Elders finally made their move. Tens of thousands of brilliant rays shot out from their palms and fingers, each as thick as a water barrel, engulfing Ye Fan and the old madman.

The onlookers watching from afar felt a sense of unease for these two Grand Elders. To actually attack that disheveled, strange man—this was likely to end in tragedy.

The two Grand Elders of the Yin Yang Sect bellowed simultaneously. The light in their hands slashed down like Heavenly Sabers, aiming to sever the legs of Ye Fan and his companions.

However, to their utter disbelief, the myriad Divine Radiance, like a clay ox entering the sea, landed on the desolate plains. Although it momentarily submerged the land, it rapidly dissipated, failing to harm even a single hair on their targets.

The old madman showed no reaction, yet all techniques failed to touch him. Their overwhelming magical power simply disintegrated silently upon approaching him.

The big black dog was quite dissatisfied. The divine being before them was too composed. He showed no intention of acting, utterly indifferent to everything.

“What’s going on?” The people from the Yin Yang Sect sensed that something was wrong. These were all experts who had surpassed the Dragon Transformation Secret Realm, possessing exceptionally keen judgment.

“Was it you who killed our two Great Elders?” They stared intently at the old madman, unable to gauge the depth of his cultivation base. A hint of suspicion flickered in their eyes.

“I’m speaking to you! Why don’t you answer? Such arrogance!”

Seeing this, the two Grand Elders let out long roars. One of them spat out a beam of light that slashed forward. This was a golden Treasure Ship, rumbling loudly, powerful enough to shatter mountains. In an instant, it rushed toward the old madman.

BANG!

It failed to injure the old madman. The golden Treasure Ship shattered on the spot, turning into fine powder. The golden dust drifted to the ground and was instantly obliterated.

At the same time, the two charged forward, their massive hands blotting out the sky as they swung down towards the old madman’s head, intending to smash it into pulp.

The onlookers’ eyes widened. Although these two were Grand Elders of a supreme Great Sect, to dare attack someone suspected of being a Saint truly required immense courage!

BOOM!

The two powerful experts lunged. Their large hands were about to strike the old madman’s head. Cold smiles appeared on their lips, believing they could dispatch their opponent.

But just then, both suddenly felt their bodies grow cold, an overwhelming sense of powerlessness washing over them. As they fell to the ground, they heard the astonished cries of their fellow sect members.

Only then did they realize with dawning horror what had happened. The disheveled strange man hadn’t moved an inch. Yet, a single strand of his hair, drifting on the wind, had sliced their bodies in two.

“Ah…”

The two screamed miserably, partly from the great pain, but mostly from sheer terror. Who is this person? A single strand of his hair, falling and drifting on the wind, actually severed us!

Everyone who witnessed this scene felt a chill crawl up their spines. This was truly a living Ancient Saint, not to be desecrated!

“Legend says that a single strand of hair shed by an Ancient Saint can slaughter entire armies! Could this… could this possibly be true?!”

“Could this truly be a Saint who has walked across the river of time from the ancient lands into the present age…”

Everyone was speechless, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. No one could remain calm; many were so aghast they felt close to suffocating.

The strand of jet-black hair floated down, landing on the severed bodies of the two men. They screamed heart-wrenchingly, trying to push it away.

But this strand of hair seemed like an ancient Divine Mountain, immeasurably heavy, crushing their palms to powder and grinding their bodies into paste.

“The legends are true! A single hair naturally shed from an Ancient Saint’s body can extinguish all things!”

“Ancient Saints are almost like gods! A drop of their blood, a piece of their bone, is a supreme divine artifact. Every inch of their flesh and blood can slay an unparalleled master!”

Everyone’s hearts pounded in their chests. A Saint had actually appeared in the current age, shocking them profoundly. Everything was so terrifying, so unfathomable.

“You… Who are you?” The Sovereign from the Yin Yang Sect felt a chill run from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. He knew things had gone terribly wrong; this time, they had truly kicked an iron plate.

A gleam of light flashed in the old madman’s hollow eyes as he glanced at them. He showed no intention of attacking, yet his gaze brought an incomparable, crushing pressure upon them.

One of the Grand Elders was extremely tense. Believing this strange man was about to attack and annihilate them, he roared and struck first.

The others instantly felt their scalps tingle. To proactively provoke that divine being would surely end in tragedy!

The magical power of a Half-step Sovereign was world-shaking, capable of leveling mountain ranges. The old madman did not ignore the attack; he reached out a large hand, pressing forward to cover them all.

The five prominent figures from the Yin Yang Sect—one Grand Elder, two Half-step Sovereigns, and two true Sovereigns—all paled and desperately fought back.

“Ah…”

The first one to attack the old madman screamed on the spot. He was covered by that large hand, and even before it touched him, his entire body began to crack.

An invisible pressure crushed him, making sounds like shattering porcelain as his bones fractured one by one, and then his body exploded.

PFFT!

Almost simultaneously, another Grand Elder also let out a wretched cry and dissolved into a bloody mist, vanishing completely.

Nearby, the spectators dared not even breathe loudly. Is this the might of an Ancient Saint? He hadn’t even touched them, yet the terrifying fluctuations emanating from his large hand had disintegrated two prominent figures from a supreme Great Sect.

The remaining Half-step Sovereign and the two true Sovereigns felt their hair stand on end. After launching their strongest attacks, they quickly tried to flee.

This was the first time in their lives they had felt such terror. Who would a Sovereign of the current age fear? They had never considered avoiding a battle; they could roam the world unhindered!

Yet, at this moment, they had no choice but to flee for their lives. This strange man was too terrifying, leaving them without a shred of fighting spirit, their hearts filled with dread.

The old madman’s large hand reached out like a majestic mountain range, extending for more than fifty li, covering them beneath it.

“Ah…” The three of them screamed, unleashing their full power.

Below them was a mountain range. The roars of the two Sovereigns seemed to make the Heavenly Universe itself tremble and collapse, causing several Great Mountains to crumble on the spot!

These were peerless figures of the world. A single roar from them could shatter mountains and rivers; they were unstoppable,傲视天下. Yet, when facing the old madman, even such peak experts felt an overwhelming sense of powerlessness, as if they were contending against the entire firmament.

PFFT!

The Half-step Sovereign finally couldn’t hold on any longer. Upon colliding with the enormous hand, his body cracked all over and instantly turned into a bloody pulp, ceasing to exist.

The two remaining true Sovereigns from the Yin Yang Sect had expressions of utter despair. They howled to the heavens as their bodies ignited with power, desperately resisting the immense hand that blotted out the sky.

BOOM!

They joined forces, transforming into a Yang Diagram and a Yin Diagram respectively, which merged to form a colossal Yin Yang Diagram that swept across heaven and earth.

Their terrifying roars shattered more than ten Great Mountains into dust. The Yin Yang Diagram then swept through, causing a vast section of the Endless Mountain Range to collapse.

However, when they crashed against that great hand, they couldn’t damage it in the slightest!

BOOM!

Another large section of the mountain range collapsed, causing the nearby desolate plains to crack open. Great fissures, tens of li long, spread out in all directions; the very earth seemed about to cave in.

BANG!

The old madman’s massive hand extended forward for more than seventy li. It was a terrifying sight, more majestic than even a vast mountain range!

DONG!

The colossal hand blotted out the sky, covering everything beneath it. It slammed down on the Yin Yang Diagram, instantly shattering it. The two Sovereigns coughed up mouthfuls of blood and were forced apart.

BUZZ!

The hand slapped down, pressing one peerless Sovereign into the mountain range. The boundless hand instantly flattened a vast stretch of mountains, turning the area into a level plain!

And on the ground below, only a human-shaped bloodstain remained, marking the spot where this Sovereign had been erased from the mortal world.

Many spectators trembled like leaves in the wind, utterly terrified. They had never witnessed such a scene in their lives. Are these the methods of an Ancient Saint? He hadn’t displayed any divine arts, yet a casual strike possessed world-destroying power!

BANG!

The great hand descended once more, pressing down on the other Sovereign. He couldn’t even think of escaping, as the entire sky was covered by that colossal hand.

BOOM!

An entire section of the Endless Mountain Range was flattened by that great hand, ceasing to exist. Everything in its path was destroyed, utterly obliterated.

“This is… Heavens! Such power makes one’s courage fail! It’s beyond any human means!”

“Such an unattainable realm… This… this is an Ancient Saint!”

Everyone was dumbstruck. Every inch of their flesh quivered, and even their souls trembled.
