“Why should I?” Shi Sheng tilted her head. “Weren’t you just trying to get me to draw aggro? I’m helping you.”

A scream rang out as the last person was caught by the dark elves, lifted into the air, claws piercing their chest and ripping them to pieces, warm blood splattering on the faces of those around.

As the dark elves pounced, the group immediately began pushing those around them as human shields.
“Miss Yu…” Pei Jin and Miao Miao approached Shi Sheng.
Shi Sheng shifted her iron sword to let them through.
Pei Jin sighed in relief, not caring about the screams behind, and quickly led Miao Miao through.

“Collecting kills, obviously,” Shi Sheng said matter-of-factly.
How could he ask such a stupid question?
“There are dark elves behind us. If we don’t run, we’ll die,” the man said angrily. Was this woman crazy?
A few dark elves were manageable, but a whole swarm was impossible.
Shi Sheng’s lips curved into a sinister smile. “Weren’t you the one who suggested leading those things to me?”
The man instinctively replied, “You’re so powerful. Handling dark elves should be easy.”
“My power has nothing to do with you!” Shi Sheng rolled her eyes.
The screams behind grew louder as dark elves started attacking them. The man, terrified, pushed someone else towards the attacking dark elves.
That person was grabbed by a dark elf, their eyes filled with fear.
The man tried to escape but was quickly caught by a dark elf that dove down, grabbed him by the shoulder, and tore him to pieces in seconds, scattering his remains.
When most of the people were dead, Shi Sheng jumped off her iron sword, sword in hand, and charged into the dark elf swarm.
These dark elves were much tougher to kill.
By the time Shi Sheng finished off all the dark elves, her hands were sore.
Her shoulder wound began to throb.
Shi Sheng shook her hand to ease the pain, then collected the black cards from the bodies before starting to gather dark elf crystals from the ground.
Despite the large number of dark elves, only a few crystals were intact, most being shattered.
Shi Sheng looked at the glowing crystals in her hand, her eyes narrowing. The dark elves had evolved…
These crystals were much larger and more beautiful than before.
Shi Sheng tried feeding a few to her level six card, noticing it could absorb them.
