SSS-Class MILFs And Their Yandere Daughters, I Want Them All!

Chapter 600: Dream Walking Addiction

Chapter 600: Dream Walking Addiction

Charlotte ran.

She fled across the football field, her legs pumping, her lungs burning, her heart threatening to burst from her chest.

Behind her, the parents followed. Not running, but moving with a strange movement that was somehow more terrifying than speed.

“Leave me alone!” She screamed. “I didn’t do anything! Please, you have to believe me!”

“We’ll get you!”

The voices followed her, whispering now, deathly and cold.

“We’ll get our revenge!”

“You’re the one who caused their deaths!”

“We’ll bury you alongside them!”

The football field dissolved around her.

Now she was running through a cemetery, ancient headstones tilting at drunken angles, dead trees reaching toward the crimson sky.

And in the center of the cemetery, freshly dug and waiting, was a grave.

She could read the name on the headstone.

Her name.

Charlotte.

She screamed and ran faster.

But the parents were transforming now. Their faces were smoothing over, their features disappearing into blank, featureless canvases just like the boy in the classroom.

Their movements became jerky and erratic. Some of them dropped to all fours, scuttling across the ground like insects.

Others climbed the dead trees, their limbs bending at impossible angles, their heads swiveling to track her movement.

They were surrounding her. Cutting off every escape route. Closing in from all sides.

And Charlotte, the girl who had never been afraid of anything, fell to her knees and wept.

“Help me.” She sobbed. “Someone help me! Please, Mama, help me! Auntie Yelena. Auntie Fauna. Someone. Anyone. Please…”

But no one came. No one could hear her. She was trapped in the mind of a stranger, surrounded by monsters, and no one in the world knew where she was.

Except—

“Mika…”

His name came out as a whisper, a prayer, a last desperate hope.

“Mika, help me….Please. Mika. MIKA!”

Whoosh!

And then, impossibly, miraculously, the world split open.

A door appeared before her, glowing with warm golden light. It swung open, and standing in the doorway, backlit by that brilliant radiance, was a figure she would have recognized anywhere.

Mika!

He was wearing his pajamas, the blue ones with the little stars that Fauna had bought for him.

His hair was mussed from sleep. His expression was grim and focused.

But he was here. He was actually here!

The faceless creatures that had been closing in on her recoiled from the light, hissing and shrieking like vampires exposed to sunlight.

“KREEEEEHHH—!”

They burned away into ash and shadow, their bodies unable to withstand the radiance that surrounded him.

Mika reached out and took Charlotte’s hand.

“Come on.” He said. “We’re leaving.”

He pulled her through the door and the golden light swallowed them both.

Charlotte bolted upright in her bed, her chest heaving, her face wet with tears.

The familiar surroundings of her bedroom—the pink walls, the stuffed animals, the posters of her and Mika seemed alien after the horrors she had just witnessed.

And sitting beside her bed, holding her hand, was Mika.

He looked awful.

His face was pale and drawn. Dark circles ringed his eyes. His breathing was shallow, and there was a slight tremor in the hand that held hers.

He looked like he had just run a marathon. Or fought a war. Or both.

“Mika?” Her voice cracked on his name.

“I…I’m here.” His voice was hoarse. “You’re safe now. It’s over.”

The moment Charlotte heard his voice, she burst into tears.

“M-Mikaaa!” She threw herself into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably. “It was so scary!”

“There was a boy with no face…a-and food that wanted to eat me—! And all those parents saying I killed their children. And they chased me and chased me and I couldn’t wake up!”

“I thought I was going to die and—”

“Shh.” Mika’s arms wrapped around her, holding her tight. “It’s okay. You’re okay now. You’re safe.”

“But it was so REAL! I thought—I thought—”

“I know.” He stroked her hair gently. “I know. But it’s over. You’re awake. Nothing can hurt you now.”

Hearing those words, the floodgates completely opened.

“Mikaaaaaa! Waaaaaah!”

Mika held her while she cried. He didn’t scold her. He didn’t say “I told you so” as much as he wanted to.

He just held her, his hand stroking her hair, his presence a steady anchor in the storm of her terror.

The truth was that Mika had been passing by her room when he heard her whimpering.

He had peered through the door, and seen her thrashing in her bed, her face contorted with fear, her lips moving in silent pleas.

It hadn’t taken him long to realize what was happening.

She was trapped. Trapped in a dream that wouldn’t let her go.

He had hesitated for only a moment.

The metaphysical realm was not his area of expertise. He had been focusing his studies on spells that could be used in the physical world.

Dreams and consciousness and the strange spaces between minds were territories he hadn’t explored.

But Charlotte needed him.

So he sat down beside her bed, closed his eyes, and retreated into his mind palace.

And there, in that place where time moved differently, he spent a year.

A year of study. A year of experimentation. A year of pushing the boundaries of what he understood about the connection between minds.

He took every scrap of knowledge he had about Charlotte’s blessing and wove it together with his own understanding of consciousness and connection.

He built a bridge, piece by painstaking piece, between his mind and hers.

It shouldn’t have worked. He knew that.

The barrier between sleeping minds should have been impenetrable to someone with his limited experience.

But Charlotte had been calling for him. She had reached out with every fiber of her being, pouring her desperate need into the space between worlds.

And that connection had given him the opening he needed.

Now he was paying the price.

His body felt like it had been wrung out and hung to dry. His mind was foggy with exhaustion.

But Charlotte was safe, and that was all that mattered.

The investigation into what had happened revealed a horrifying truth.

The dream Charlotte had entered belonged to an eighty-year-old man. He had been diagnosed as mentally ill decades ago, institutionalized in a facility where he had lived out the remainder of his shattered life.

His childhood had been a catalogue of abuse—beatings, neglect, cruelty beyond imagination.

It had culminated in the day his own mother, striking him with her cane, had hit him too hard.

The blow had cracked his skull and damaged his brain irreparably.

From that day forward, his mind had been a fractured place. Broken. Volatile.

His dreams were not like the dreams of normal people.

They were labyrinths of pain and terror, twisted reflections of a psyche that had been shattered beyond repair.

Charlotte had never encountered a mind like that before. She had always explored the dreams of healthy people—strange dreams, sometimes, and occasionally scary ones, but always dreams that followed some kind of internal logic.

The old man’s mind had no exits. It was a trap. A prison built from decades of pain.

If Mika hadn’t come for her…

He didn’t want to think about what would have happened.

The realization sobered Charlotte in a way that nothing else could have.

For the first time in her life, she understood that her blessing was not a toy. It was not a playground.

It was a door into the darkest places of the human mind, and some of those places were not meant to be opened.

“I’m never doing it again.” She told Mika the next morning, her voice small and serious. “I’m never going into anyone’s dreams ever again.”

Mika looked at her. “Do you mean that?”

“Yes.” She nodded firmly. “It’s too scary. What if I get stuck again? What if you can’t save me next time?”

“I’ll always save you.”

“But what if you can’t?”

Mika didn’t have an answer for that. He just pulled her into another hug.

For six months, Charlotte kept her promise.

She didn’t enter a single dream. She didn’t even reach out with her blessing to touch the edges of the dream realm.

The memory of that featureless boy, those faceless parents, was still too fresh. Too terrifying.

Every time she thought about dream walking, her heart would start racing and her palms would grow slick with sweat.

Mika on the other hand was proud of her.

For the first time in her life, Charlotte was listening to reason. She was exercising caution. She was acknowledging that there were limits to her power and dangers that even she couldn’t overcome.

And because he was proud of her, he treated her more kindly.

He went along with her requests more readily. He spent more time with her, played more games with her, indulged more of her whims.

Charlotte, basking in the warmth of his approval, was happier than she had ever been.

But it didn’t last.

Children are restless creatures. Their minds heal quickly, their fears fade, their memories blur.

The love and affection Charlotte received from her family and especially from Mika gradually smoothed away the trauma of her nightmare.

The terror became a distant memory. The lesson became less urgent.

And her blessing was still there. Still calling to her. Still a part of her very soul.

Dream walking was not just a hobby for Charlotte.

It was her identity. To deny it was to deny a fundamental part of herself.

Because of that, she started to crave the dream realm again.

The adventures. The discoveries. The sheer, boundless wonder of exploring the infinite landscapes of the sleeping mind.

But she knew she couldn’t tell Mika.

He would be furious. He would forbid her from doing it.

So she decided to sneak.

And for a while, nothing did.

She was cautious. She avoided any dream that seemed even remotely strange or unsettling.

She stuck to the bright, warm-colored orbs, the ones that radiated happiness and contentment. She didn’t take risks. She didn’t push her luck.

But eventually, Mika found out…

And he was furious…
