Chapter 15 – Arrival in Mermaid Kingdom
After going to the hot spring village to wholesale various goods and accomplish our main objective, I spent the rest of the day at the hot springs, filling the rubber boat with hot spring water. There was a subtle, alarming incident in the middle as Ines and Ilma-san grew closer, but it was a great rest for the bones.
“She’s really getting active. Lea-san, is this okay?”
After finishing our business at the hot spring village, we left for the Mermaid Kingdom with Princess Annemarie as planned.
I am glad that they like Dark Elf Island, but I am worried about whether it is okay.
But there is something more worrying.
“Yes. The princess was too mature, so I’m sure Her Majesty would be pleased to see her as she is now.”

Her daily magical girl anime has become a habit; she begs Lea-san for a pink and frilly dress, she is passionate about learning magic-like spells, and she even starts studying to become a tamer to get a cute mascot frame.
Normally, a little girl’s adoration for anime would be all smiles, and as an adult, it would be enough to warmly watch over her while celebrating the birth of black history in the corner of your mind and keeping it firmly on video, but… in this case, it’s a little awkward.
Princess Annemarie is a real princess, and there is Ilma-san, who is an expert in magic, and me, Dorothea-san, and Marina-san, who are slime tamers.

Princess Annemarie asks Lea-san and Claretta-san to make a pink and frilly magical girl’s outfit from the pink fabric available in the Chateau’s store.
The result. A rather serious magical girl, or rather a magical girl mermaid princess, is born.
Perhaps it was Princess Annemarie’s talent, or perhaps it was the result of her royal blood, but it seems that after only a month of training, she has acquired the skills of a C-rank adventurer and can handle them with ease.

As we continued to dive, the Mermaid Kingdom came into view, but the atmosphere was completely different.
The castle and walls have not changed, but the dark seabed is now lit up with light, creating a fantastic sight.
The country has become beautiful.
“Huh? Is it true? Huh? Princess, is this really the Mermaid Kingdom?”
“The shape of the castle hasn’t changed, so there’s no doubt about it.”
I can hear mermaids making noise from the White Dolphin’s living space. Even mermaids born and raised in the Mermaid Kingdom are surprised at how much things have changed.
One of the guards is happy and says it’s a shame to leave his home, but I’ll pretend I didn’t hear him.
But it’s okay to shine so brightly in the deep sea… I see. The barrier has been restored, so it’s okay to stand out.
It’s just the handling of the light is completely different, and it might be better to think of the Mermaid Kingdom as something else now that it’s safe.
Even though we should have arrived at the Mermaid Kingdom, I’m kind of excited that we’re in a new city.
