Chapter 6 – The People Who Gather
The destruction in the town of Gothenburg was worse than I had imagined, so I decided to bring out the sea monsters I had. Maybe it was a good decision because Alessia-san and the others had a slightly better impression of me, and it put me in a good mood. Alessia-san landed in the space where the group had stepped back, and she expanded the space even more. The rest of the girls got there and lined up in a half circle. They looked at me, probably telling me that it was safe to come to the shore.
It felt like I was being treated like a VIP.
When I land, the group’s attention is on me. Do Hollywood stars feel this way? Well, their gaze on me isn’t that of fans, but of hunger and anxiety.

“Marina, could you and Carla switch places?”

Donatella-san did a great job negotiating with Simon-san and the others, and my role was to follow up on the small details of the business. The group worked efficiently, following her instructions and moving on to their next tasks one after another.
We also made sure to arrange for the transportation of the supplies needed for treatment at the church. I can say that Donatella-san did a perfect job.
I should be happy that I have less work, but I feel a little lonely.
