Chapter 1056: Everything Is Energy

Kyle felt his Spirit dispersing into his body. After some time, it filled all of Kyle's body, and he felt some kind of mysterious feeling of resonance.

'I feel like this is the first time I've actually been in my body,' he thought as he looked at himself in wonder. 'I feel like I've inhabited a stranger's body up to this point.'

He remembered the time he had seen his Spirit for the first time. Back then, he had thought only one thing.

'This is me.'

And now, he had that thought once again, but this time, he was looking at his physical body.

'This is me. This is my actual self,' he thought. 'I feel like I'm finally myself, which is strange. I've been myself for my entire life.'

'But now, it feels like I'm finally complete. A sense of disconnect that I have never noticed seemed to have vanished.'

At the same time, Kyle noticed that his Karmic Lines were no longer coming out of his head but from all over his body. Karmic Lines always originated from the Spirit, and the only pathway to the Spirit was by going through someone's mind. That was why they had always originated from his head.

'My Spirit is no longer a sphere in my Spirit Space. Instead, it has fully fused with me. Just as expected, after becoming a Legendary Spirit Lord, my Spirit has vanished.'

Kyle remembered something, and moments later, he sensed his brain. 'If my theories are correct, my mind should also disperse.'

'Yet, nothing's happening. My brain is still there.'

That was when Kyle had a thought. He tried to calculate random permutations of Elemental Energies with as much focus as he could muster. His mind was going faster and faster as he pushed himself to his limits.

And that was when he noticed something.

'My feelings are no longer centralized,' he thought. 'Usually, when I try to focus a lot, I feel some kind of burn in my head. Now, this burn is spread across my entire body.'

'I just haven't noticed this change before since most of my senses are located on my head. This makes me feel like the center of my existence is located there. Yet, when I only use my Energy Sense, I actually feel like my entire existence is the center of my existence.'

Kyle got a suspicion and focused on his organs. 'Humans in the Cosmos share the same organs as humans on Earth. They still have livers, lungs, intestines, and so on. On Earth, every organ has a very specific role. While that's still true in the greater Cosmos, it's not to the same extent.'

'For example, the immune system basically doesn't exist since disease is not a thing. Instead, the organs that partially run and contribute to the immune system have roles relating to managing Biological Energy.'

'Yet, the more a Seeker's power increases, the less important individual organs become. As a Transcendent, you can detonate everything below your chest and still survive. As long as your Center and your head are still connected, you will survive. At that point, your organs no longer have individual roles. Instead, all of them focus on the same thing.'

'Creating Biological Energy.'

'If one of your organs gets destroyed, another one of your organs uses its Biological Energy to repair it. If you could destroy every single organ, except the brain, at the same time, even a Transcendent would find it hard to survive. It's just that doing something like that is unnecessary. Your Center is surrounded by organs. In a fight, why would anyone want to destroy everything around the Center? You would have to deliberately avoid the Center.'

'So, with that in mind,' Kyle thought as he focused on his brain again. 'Are you still relevant? Are you actually still controlling my thoughts?'

Thanks to his Major Law of Body and his Major Law of Mind, Kyle knew how his brain worked, and as he watched it, he noticed...

It wasn't really doing anything important. Like every other organ, it was generating Biological Energy.

Kyle closed his eyes, and in the next moment, he turned a small part of his brain into Fire Energy.

Aside from the burning pain, Kyle didn't feel any difference.

He converted a bit more.

Nothing changed.

A bit more.

Nothing.

Finally, Kyle destroyed half of his brain.

'Fascinating. I can still think clearly, I think. It's kinda hard to notice when you're not thinking clearly since you're not thinking clearly, but since I can still think on such an abstract level, it probably means everything's fine.'

Kyle felt a bit nervous as he converted more of his brain.

Seconds later...

Kyle's entire brain turned into Fire Energy.

It was gone.

'Any Seeker would die if all of their brain were destroyed,' Kyle thought, watching the inferno in his skull. 'Since I'm still alive, I guess I was right in my suspicion.'

'I didn't notice it, but apparently, my mind also fused with my body when my Spirit came to this reality. I guess my mind immediately combined with my Spirit, and the two of them fused with my body simultaneously.'

That was when Kyle thought of something, and his brows furrowed.

'When I became a Legendary Primal, my Clusters vanished. When I became a Legendary Crusher, the walls around my Center vanished. When I became a Legendary Spirit Lord, my Spirit and mind vanished.'

'But before that, my Spirit and mind fused. They vanished, but they also fused.'

'Fusion...'

'The Ninth Realm is called the Fusion Realm. Fusing your Aspects of Power is the requirement to become an Advanced Ascendant. However, to pull that off, you need a lot of stuff.'

'The only way to initiate the fusion is to fulfill all the previous requirements at the same time. To become a One-Infused Ascendant, you need to have a Level Six Infused Law. To become a Two-Infused Ascendant, you need to have two Level Six Infused Laws. Three-Infused Ascendant, Four-Infused Ascendant. You need four Infused Level Six Laws to become a Four-Infused Ascendant.'

'Then, to become a Major Ascendant, you need an External Level Eight Law. From what I've heard, the vast majority of Ascendants simply deconstruct their four Infused Laws and use them to create an External Level Eight Law. After all, you don't need to have four active Infused Laws to become a Major Ascendant. It's enough if you just have an External Level Eight Law.'

'Yet, to become an Advanced Ascendant, you need to have all five things at the same time, and that's why it's so insanely difficult to become an Immortal. The number and levels of Laws you need are crazy!'

Kyle looked at his body. 'However, my Spirit and my mind have already fused with my Center and body.'

'If I just fuse my body with my Center...'

'Wouldn't I have finished my Fusion?'

Kyle's thoughts wandered as his will playfully pushed his body and Center together. He just wanted to see what would happen.

Surprisingly, Kyle noticed that some of the organs surrounding his Core were entering his Core.

His Core wasn't truly a Center in the traditional sense.

'A Center is a biological container inside the human body that can hold vast amounts of Energy. That's the simplest definition of a Center. According to that definition, my Core is not a Center. It's simply a mass of Energy.'

'If a Center gets destroyed, its contents scatter. Without a Center, you can't keep Energy inside your body. That also explains why you can't fuse it with your body. If you break even a small part of the container, all the Energy spills out, and you die.'

'But that's not the case for me. My Core can hold its Energy without any walls.'

'My body is Energy. My mind is Energy. My Soul is Energy. My Core is Energy.'

'I think I can fuse my Aspects already.'

Kyle took a deep breath.

'But should I?'

'What will this do to me?'
