Chapter 1062: Two Times Ninety

'I thought that I knew how it felt to be a hammer, but that was my old definition. Ever since I've condensed my Divine Consciousness, my experience of existence has deepened. Using the Elemental as a proxy can't compare to the real thing.'

Kyle looked at his hammer, his Avatar.

It was deep black and had a metallic sheen. It was nice, big, heavy, and unfathomably hard. If a different person were to look at the hammer, they would feel immense pressure and awe. The hammer felt almost otherworldly. It was like it had descended from a higher world.

Almost nobody would dare to even touch it. Just the thought of touching it would wake intense feelings of danger in the onlooker. Yet, the onlooker also felt like they needed to touch it. They would feel like they would gain the power to conquer the world if they could control the hammer.

The hammer was just as alive as Kyle was, but it couldn't do everything he could. After all, it did not have a human body.

It was hard and rigid, which meant it couldn't move by itself in the traditional sense. Since the hammer was a Supreme Existence, it could manipulate the world to move it, but it couldn't move by relying on its body.

After looking at the hammer for a while, Kyle let go and moved away from the Elemental.

Kyle reappeared in the Elemental Dimension with his physical body, looking at the Elemental.

Naturally, the Elemental was still alive. After all, the hammer inside of it was Kyle.

'That part is working,' he thought. 'This means one of my Avatars is free to move. Now, let's try that other thing.'

Next, Kyle waved his hand to the side, and a storm of aggressive Energies washed over the Elemental. Huge chunks of the Elemental were scattered across the surroundings.

Kyle strengthened the storm, and the Elemental lost more of its body.

At some point, only 10% of its body remained. Under normal circumstances, this would already be lethal to an Elemental.

BANG!

Kyle waved his hand one last time, and the entire Elemental was dispersed.

It was gone.

Only Kyle and his hammer were left.

A grin appeared on Kyle's face as he sensed the Elemental's Spirit.

'It's stable! It's still stable!' he thought with exhilaration.

A moment later, Elemental Energies came out of the hammer. They gathered around it, and moments later, the Elemental was back.

'I knew this had to work!' Kyle thought with pride and excitement. 'My Elemental counts as a human, and humans only die when their minds are destroyed. After all, when they don't have a mind anymore, their Spirit is no longer connected to them, which leads to the dispersion of the Spirit. That gets rid of their blueprint and proof of their existence.'

'However, my hammer is a Supreme Existence. All Aspects of Power are present. According to my Elemental's Spirit, my hammer is its mind and Center. So, even if its entire body gets destroyed, its Spirit retains its connection with physical reality.'

'The Energies are synchronized, which means the Elemental's Spirit also uses my hammer's location as the location of the Elemental.'

Kyle dispersed the Elemental again and grabbed his hammer.

Afterward, he swung it a couple of times before throwing it into the distance.

Moments later, the Elemental reappeared around the flying hammer.

'I can essentially destroy and resummon the Elemental! That means I don't have to be careful with it anymore! As long as my hammer still exists, my Elemental exists!'

After experimenting for a bit, Kyle returned to his Elemental. The chances were low that the Overseer would look at him right now, but they were not zero. It was better not to gamble unnecessarily.

Inside the Elemental, Kyle closed his eyes before he swung his hammer.

BOOOOM!

The world around Kyle distorted as millions of weaker Elementals died. Kyle's Elemental turned into a scattered stream of lightning, hiding his body and hammer. From an outsider's perspective, it looked like the Elemental had exploded with lightning, making it seem like the lightning had caused all of the destruction.

In truth, the Elemental had been unaffected by the strike. After all, even though Kyle had used both Imposing Laws, both Imposing Laws were part of the Elemental, according to its Spirit. An Imposing Law was the representation of oneself, which was why it usually didn't cause damage to the user.

Kyle laughed loudly. 'I can actually, physically swing my hammer again! That's great! As long as I make it seem like the Elemental is attacking, no one will notice! Well, I still have to explain the power of the strike, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue.'

Kyle swung his hammer a couple more times, and as he did so, countless insights entered his mind. He already knew what it was like to be a hammer by using his Elemental's Imposing Law, which was why his own Imposing Law was improving drastically. He essentially already knew all the solutions to the equations and just needed to write them down again.

Within just a couple of years, Kyle's Imposing Law also reached 93% quality.

The two Imposing Laws became more similar to each other as time passed. The Elemental learned about swinging a hammer, while Kyle learned about being a hammer.

If both of them reached 100% quality, they would become two copies of the same Imposing Law. But then, would there even be a point to having two Spirits?

'Of course there's a point!' Kyle thought with a grin. 'First of all, if I can improve my Elemental, its Energy will also be helpful. I can use my Energy with my Imposing Law, while it can use its Energy with its Imposing Law. It might not have as much Energy as me since it can only use its body as fuel, but that can still be a significant help.'

'Additionally, I can turn one of the Imposing Laws into a Refined Law, and I wouldn't lose access to the power of my raw Imposing Law. I could even make two different Refined Laws!'

Kyle swung his hammer again, and as he felt the raw power of his swing, he realized something.

'There's no way that this isn't intended! Just based on how this works, I'm sure that the owner of the Cosmos actually wants people to turn one of their Avatars into a weapon!'

'When you have your own body as your Imposing Law, you can also only use the Energy of your own body. If you have two Avatars, you can use two attacks with 90% of your Energy.'

'In comparison, I can launch one attack with two times 90% of my Energy. That's one attack with 180% of my Energy instead of two individual ones! That's because my Avatars need each other. The hammer needs to be swung, and the body needs the hammer to swing.'

'If I use a random hammer, I can only unleash the Energy of one of my Avatars, but if I have my other Avatar, I can unleash the Energy of both of them!'

'I feel like I've found some kind of deeply hidden but very effective strategy in a game.'
