Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1064: Major Elements

Chapter 1064: Major Elements

BANG!

Kyle's hammer hit a Major Fire Elemental and scattered a big chunk of it across the surroundings before absorbing its Energy.

Major Fire Energy shot through Kyle's existence for a moment, sharing its secrets.

'The Major Elements are so different from the other ones,' Kyle thought as he watched the Major Fire Energy.

'Gravity Fire is a fusion of Fire Energy and Gravity Energy. Spacetime Fire is a fusion of Fire Energy, Space Energy, and Time Energy.'

'Yet, Major Fire seems to be its own thing. It incorporates Gravity, Space, and Time Energy, but they are not separate. It's just Fire Energy, but instead of using the powers of the Primordial Forces, it converts them into more of itself.'

'Gravity Fire distorts its surroundings and pulls Energy towards it. Spacetime Fire distorts time and space. Yet, Major Fire doesn't do anything of that.'

'It consumes the Primordial Forces, leaving only the parts that it needs to exist. Where there's Major Fire, there's no Temporal Distortion, Temporal Reversal, Spatial Compression, Spatial Expansion, and so on. The Primordial Forces are acting normally. In fact, in the presence of the Major Elements, the Primordial Forces are at their most stable and normal.'

'That's because the Major Elements consume the potential for change of the Primordial Forces. Having the ability to change represents unrealized potential. Major Fire takes this potential and realizes it for its own benefit.'

Before he struck again, Kyle used Spatial Manifestation to stabilize the surrounding space.

BANG!

The Major Fire Elemental exploded once again.

'Stabilizing space lowers its unrealized potential. As expected, the Major Fire Elemental became weaker when space became more stable.'

During his next strike, Kyle used Spatial Manifestation, Temporal Manifestation, and Gravitational Manifestation.

BANG!

The Elemental exploded once again. If Kyle hadn't been careful, he would have killed it with this strike.

'Its power dropped significantly, but even with all of these suppressive forces, Major Fire is still vastly more powerful than Spacetime Fire. That's because I can't fully suppress the Primordial Forces. If I could, the Major Fire would turn into Minor Fire.'

Kyle snorted as he attacked the Major Fire Elemental again. 'Sadly, that's not a good use of Energy. Stabilizing all of the surroundings costs an insane amount of Energy. I'm essentially stopping an entire river just to stop a water wheel. It would be even worse if a human used Major Fire. Their Major Fire would have its will on them, which would make it much harder to influence the space, time, and gravity the Major Fire occupies.'

'It seems like Major Fire returns to simplicity. Gravity Fire is complex. Spacetime Fire is even more complex. Yet, Major Fire seems so simple while also being even more complex.'

'That's because all of its complexity is frontloaded. The effect of the mechanism is simple and straightforward, but the mechanism itself is incredibly complicated.'

'It's kinda like pulling the trigger of a gun. Even a child can do it. With the mere movement of a finger, a child can kill an adult fighter. That's because all the complexity and resources are already integrated into the gun and its ammunition. The gunpowder in a bullet also symbolizes unrealized potential, and by pressing the trigger, its potential unfolds. In this way, the child utilizes the unrealized potential of something else to its own benefit. It turns from a weak child to a dangerous killer.'

'Just how Minor Fire uses the unrealized potential of the Primordial Forces to turn into Major Fire.'

As Kyle absorbed more of the Major Fire, he experienced it on many different levels simultaneously. He could feel its effect on his body. He could feel its power while it flowed through him. He could feel how his Elemental experienced it. He could feel its emotions. And finally...

The Major Fire Energy moved through a black ball. It broke into Minor Fire and countless Law Diagrams.

Kyle could also experience it by looking at its Law Diagrams. Now that he understood the Minor Law of Death, this ability had made a comeback.

Kyle had so many ways in which he could experience Major Fire. Naturally, this accelerated his rate of progress to unreasonable levels.

When Immortals thought of the theoretical, perfect way to comprehend Laws, they would still come up with something worse than what Kyle had access to.

Kyle had access to things that the vast majority of Immortals didn't even know existed.

As Kyle felt his rapid progress, his eyes narrowed slightly.

BANG!

The Major Fire Elemental died as Kyle's strike became just a slight bit too strong.

Kyle took a deep breath to calm himself.

The frustration of accidentally killing the Major Fire Elemental combined with a suppressed ball of negative emotions, creating a short burst of hatred.

'Not yet,' Kyle thought. 'It's not time yet.'

Naturally, Kyle wasn't an emotionless machine. He had managed to deal with most of what had happened, but not completely.

From time to time, images of the past shot through his head.

The Ascendants and Spirit Lords swearing their oaths and dying.

Manny's Karmic Line changing before finally vanishing with all of the others.

Lara's death.

The death of Ayuvar as a whole.

These were his friends!

That was his loved one!

That was his home!

Understandably, Kyle had a deep and intense ball of hatred inside of him, but he also knew that he couldn't deal with it.

Well, he actually could deal with it right now, but he didn't want to. When someone caused immense pain to someone else, the victim could also find peace without taking revenge by accepting their life and making peace with it.

'But I don't want to make peace with it,' Kyle thought as his face morphed into an ugly grimace of hatred and wrath before returning to normal again. He pushed the hatred down. Intense emotions rarely helped with comprehending Laws.

The realization that he was progressing at rapid speeds had made him eager to take revenge, which gave his repressed emotions a short moment of freedom.

'For now, I have to remain calm,' he thought as he took another deep breath. 'Having some emotions can help with comprehending Laws, but I don't have that luxury right now. If I allow some of them to come to the surface, all of them will come to the surface. It's like a pressurized tank of water.'

'I could deal with them by letting them out, but I don't want to do that. I want to keep them for the future.'

Kyle's gaze became calm but cold.

The silhouette of a human, the representation of the Overseer in Kyle's head, shot through his mind.

Kyle's expression didn't change.

'You've destroyed almost everything I've held dear. In the past, you were like a natural calamity. What's the point of being angry at an earthquake or a tsunami?'

Kyle's expression remained the same.

'For now, you still are one.'

'But not forever.'

Kyle slowly blinked once.

'Eventually, I will come for you. I might not win. You might kill me before that happens.'

'Unless you manage to escape, one of the two of us will die in Ayuvar. Even if I could ascend without fighting you, I would refuse.'

Kyle's Divine Consciousness locked onto another Major Fire Elemental. He had regained full control of his emotions, and a small smirk appeared on his face.

'But for now, I gotta focus on my Laws!'

'Isn't understanding Laws such a fun time?'
