Chapter 1092: Change in Energy

As Kyle went through the powers he had gained, he remembered what Sebastian had told him. Sebastian had told Kyle that Swamp Dragon believed that Kyle couldn't win by himself.

'But now, I'm technically not by myself anymore,' Kyle thought as he sensed his Energy.

Fierce Breaker had undergone his Fusion. The hammer had undergone its Fusion. Both were Advanced Ascendants, and both of them had access to the amount of Energy an Advanced Ascendant should have access to.

Yet, they were one person now, and they could use each other's Energy without issues.

'This means I have access to twice as much Energy as an Advanced Ascendant should have access to. We are two beings, but we are also one being. I have 200% Energy, even though I should only have 100% Energy.'

'I can also create an Avatar for each of my existences. If I create a second body and a second hammer, I will have four times 90% Energy instead of only two times 90% Energy. I also have the same Imposing Law two times.'

'We are two people that can work together perfectly.'

'I hate to admit it, but Swamp Dragon has essentially doubled my power, and that's only when I talk about my baseline. His plan has actually resulted in my power growing even more if I include other things.'

'For example, I wasn't sure how long it would have taken me to push my Imposing Law to 100% quality. I only managed to break through the last barrier when I was facing death. I only succeeded when I felt the true freedom of death. Would I have reached such a headspace without entering the Gate of Death? Possible, but it might have taken hundreds of thousands of years.'

'I remember hearing that there is a huge difference between a Seeker with a 99% quality Imposing Law and one with a 100% quality Imposing Law. Apparently, their powers can't be compared at all.'

'And now that I have access to one, I can confirm...'

'That's absolutely true.'

Kyle felt his Imposing Law and its power.

He swung his hammer once, and the Energy around him was thrown into disorder.

In terms of power, it was just slightly stronger than a 99% quality Imposing Law. If one only looked at power, there was barely any difference.

Was it faster? Only a tiny bit.

Was it better at defending? Only a bit.

So, what was it that made a 100% quality Imposing Law so much better?

'Integration,' Kyle thought. 'My Imposing Law has integrated. I do not need to use it anymore. My existence has synchronized with my Imposing Law. I am my Imposing Law. Every action I take is in accordance with my Imposing Law. My Energy is already my Imposing Law.'

'That means, I do not need to use any Energy anymore.'

'In the past, my Imposing Law has reserved 99% of my Energy. As long as I used my Imposing Law, I couldn't use anything else. If my Energy Storage were to fall to 98%, my Imposing Law would become unusable.'

'That's no longer the case. I can use my Imposing Law without reserving any Energy. Even more, its power is not diminished by a lack of Energy.'

'Even if I only had 10% of my Energy left, it would retain its full power.'

'It has turned from an active ability that reserves 99% of my resources into a passive ability that has no cost.'

Kyle summoned an illusory hammer, which swung in the void. The strike reached 25% of the level of power a physical strike of his would reach.

When Kyle summoned the illusory hammer, he noticed that his Energy dropped a bit, but not a lot. He only lost 0.25% of his Energy. 'While launching the strike is free, I am not launching it myself. The illusory hammer is swung by the world, which means I have to control the Energies with my Spirit. The world is not me, which is why I have to invest Energy to make it do what I want it to do.'

'My own strikes are free, but my illusory hammers are not completely free.'

Kyle snorted. 'But that's still far better than what I used to have. In the past, I would have needed to invest 99.25% of my Energy to create an illusory hammer, and if it were destroyed, I would lose that much Energy.'

'Now, the fate of my illusory hammer isn't relevant anymore. If it gets destroyed, I will lose nothing but the 0.25% I've invested to launch the strike, but I would have lost that anyway.'

Kyle waved his hand to the side, and 20 illusory hammers appeared in the world around him.

'Every single one of these strikes can obliterate a Peak Ascendant Divine Beast. I could kill 20 Peak Ascendant Divine Beasts by only using 5% of my Energy. I wouldn't even need to touch them.'

'If I were to fight someone with a 99% quality Imposing Law, I would just need to counter their strike with my own strike. At the same time, I could also launch a random attack. Since my Imposing Law would keep their Imposing Law busy, they wouldn't be able to defend from these attacks. Their body would receive tremendous injuries, and their Energy Storage would fall. That would force them to weaken their Imposing Law, while mine would retain its peak power.'

'The difference is crazy.'

'200% Energy. A 100% quality Imposing Law...'

'And then, there's the Major Law of Death.'

'Its power...'

'It's tremendous.'

'If I can incorporate it into one of my Imposing Laws, I could create the most uniquely useful Refined Law in existence.'

'In fact, I can actually do that. I know how Death works, and I know how my Imposing Law works. My Imposing Law and my existence are the same thing. I can easily slot it in.'

Kyle closed his eyes and focused on one of his Imposing Laws and the Major Law of Death.

Combining an Imposing Law with other Laws to create a Refined Law took a long time. After all, both of them were made of complex concepts and transformations of Energy. Making both of them work required a long period of trial and error.

Yet, the Major Law of Death wasn't really complex in the traditional sense. In fact, Death wasn't nearly as complicated as Energy. It couldn't turn into fire, water, earth, life, space, time, gravity, Karma, and so on.

It was just Death.

Energy was order, while Death was chaos.

Mastering Energy was like knowing everything one could create with metal. All the machines, structures, weapons, and so on. One would essentially need to master the field of engineering.

Meanwhile, mastering Death was like knowing everything one could create with air. Yet, what could one create with air? In order to use air, one needed other materials. One needed machines to move and manipulate the air.

Death by itself couldn't create anything. It was ever-changing.

Combining an Imposing Law with normal Laws was like completing an unimaginably complex jigsaw puzzle.

Combining an Imposing Law with the Major Law of Death was like dumping water on a completed puzzle. As long as the puzzle was wet, the two were combined.

Within moments, Kyle turned one of his Imposing Laws into a Refined Law that included the Major Law of Death.

It had been so easy, and yet, the results were amazing.

'That easy, huh?' Kyle thought. 'Just like that, I have created something amazing.'

As Kyle thought about his new Refined Law, he noticed something.

'Did the Energy in the surroundings always move like this?' Kyle thought.

While Kyle sensed his surroundings, he noticed a subtle difference. For some reason, the Energy seemed to move a bit more... frantic than usual.

It was like the Energy had been excited by something.

'I haven't materialized or used my new Refined Law,' Kyle thought. 'Even though I've just created it in my mind, I haven't shown its effect. My Refined Law is contained in my existence. As long as I don't use it, it can't affect the surrounding Energies.'

'So, why is the Energy moving like this?'

Kyle wasn't the only one who had noticed the change.

The Overseer also noticed that the Energy was moving a bit quicker than before. She didn't even consider the fact that Fierce Breaker might be responsible for this change. After all, the Energy in her entire world had been affected. That also included the Energy in the Elemental Dimension.

'Strange, the world absorbs more Energy from the Supreme World, but it is also losing more Energy.'

'It's like its metabolism has sped up.'

Meanwhile, Swamp Dragon narrowed his eyes.

When he felt the change in the Energy's behavior, he knew what was going on.

'Fierce Breaker has turned into Kyle, and Kyle has created a Refined Law with the Major Law of Death.'

In fact, the Energy's strange behavior wasn't localized to Ayuvar.

In the Supreme World, almost every Seeker in the Wisdom Fire Realm and higher noticed the change.

Yet, only the strongest Seekers knew what this change represented.
