Chapter 1112: Introduction
Chapter 1112: Introduction
When the Overseer saw Kyle's smirk, she just blinked in boredom.
Had Fierce Breaker's advancement gone to his head? So what if he was a Unique Ascendant? He still would be helpless in front of her.
She had already expected that Fierce Breaker would want to fight her, but when it happened, she still felt annoyed.
Was this guy blind? How could he not feel the obvious difference in power between them?
When Kyle saw the Overseer's relaxed but annoyed expression, he chuckled a bit.
Red pointed at the Overseer and imitated a firing gun.
"Bang, you've just died," Red said with a grin.
The Overseer just raised a brow in boredom. "What's this about now?"
"You just avoided death," Black said. "You weren't ready. You were too relaxed."
"Have you lost your mind?" the Overseer asked with annoyance.Black and Red laughed. "It's actually crazy how arrogant and blind you are. No wonder Shit Snake managed to play you like a fiddle."
The Overseer narrowed her eyes. "Be careful of your words. I'm quite a spiteful person. If you push it too far, I will kill you, even if that delays my freedom by millions of years."
"You know, in my opinion, there's a fundamental difference between murdering someone and killing someone," Black said as he put his hammer over his shoulder. "For example, I want to kill you, but I don't want to murder you."
"If I had attacked just now, this would have been a murder," Red said from the side. "But I don't want to overwhelm you with a surprise attack."
"I want you to fight at your strongest. I want to get rid of all of your possible excuses and apologies. I want to crush you when all of your powers have failed to stop me."
The Overseer glared at Kyle as the Energy of the world crashed into him. The Overseer had released her Energy, and Kyle could feel the sheer weight of her power. He felt a heavy weight that was trying to crush him into dust, but Black and Red remained upright.
When the Overseer saw how calm Red and Black were, she furrowed her brows. She had expected that Kyle's Avatars would react in some way, but they hadn't.
She started to question her perception, and that's when she realized the person in front of her acted very differently from the Fierce Breaker she had met. Seekers changed over the course of their lives, but this change was a bit too much.
Was this actually Fierce Breaker?
Kyle could see the fluctuations of Energy around the Overseer changing. 'She's finally looking at me from a new perspective.'
First impressions held tremendous power.
Once a thief, always a thief. Even when the thief hadn't stolen anything for years, most people who knew them would still take extra care of their belongings whenever they met them.
The Overseer had met Fierce Breaker long ago, and she had watched him for over 100,000 years. Fierce Breaker was talented, but he was not unparalleled. She had watched Kyle for over 700,000 years, but she had only looked at him through her impression of Fierce Breaker.
"How about I introduce myself?" Red and Black said at the same time.
The Overseer didn't answer. She felt like something wasn't quite right. She felt like she was being played, but she didn't know in what manner. The person in front of her obviously couldn't bridge the gap between Realms, which meant that something had to be going on.
But what?
Red and Black turned towards each other with smirks as they readied their hammers.
They both pulled their hammers back.
Then, the two hammers moved forward at the same time, intending to strike each other.
The Energy around Red's Hammer went through countless transformations before settling on a red stream of profound Energy. If one looked into the red stream, they would see countless realities. These realities were subtle yet present. They were varied, yet the same. Images of animals, humans, beasts, plants, mountains, fires, wind, nature...
The world.
Ethereal forms of life sprang into existence and vanished as the red hammer moved forward, a trail of realities dispersing behind it.
The Energy around Black's Hammer didn't transform. No beautiful, magical, or profound display of realities.
Instead, the Energy seemed to shatter like glass. Shards of objective reality, created by Energy, crashed into the hammer as it moved forward, unstoppable and unbreakable.
The black and foreboding abyss behind the mirror of reality was revealed as shards scattered and broke.
A red streak of infinite possibilities.
A black streak of one certainty.
The Overseer's eyes widened in horror.
Black and Red.
A Black Hammer, a Red Hammer.
A black streak, a red streak.
Like ancient calligraphy, the two streaks extended towards each other...
Until they met.
The impact made no sound, but that didn't mean that it was quiet.
The world around Kyle broke like a bowl of glass. Space, time, and gravity lost all meaning as Ayuvar failed to support the power of the impact. Ayuvar's reality was like a wide spiderweb that was trying to catch a bowling ball. The bowling ball tore a hole in the spiderweb, leaving a noticeable absence of something behind.
For just a tiny moment, one could see faint flickers of light in the endless nothingness.
Stars.
Planets.
Freedom.
Glimpses of a new world.
For the first time, the Overseer saw distant glimpses of the Supreme World.
The spiderweb that was Ayuvar's reality couldn't support the strike, but the superior reality of the Cosmos wasn't shaken. When one reality broke, the other one stepped in, revealing itself to the onlookers.
A short moment of beauty, freedom, and possibilities.
Then, the storm appeared.
The Spatial Tear pulled on the Energies inside Ayuvar with brutal power.
Yet, countless red images of lives never lived appeared around the Spatial Tear, isolating it. The red images were pulled into the Spatial Tear, and as soon as they touched it, they turned into shiny particles of reflective glass.
The space inside the Spatial Tear gained more and more pieces of reflective glass until it became a single reflective pane, slightly misaligned.
The pane reflected Red and Black's strike as its angle changed.
The mirror slipped perfectly into the hole in reality. The edges vanished, and the mirror images vanished, replaced by seemingly nothing.
Everything was how it used to be, except for the fact that Red and Black had lost a bit of Karmic Luck.
The Overseer looked at Red and Black with eyes torn open in intensity.
This strike...
It could have killed her!
In the next moment, the Overseer felt like the sun was rising as she felt the birth of an unmissable aura.
Kyle had been a blank sheet for the past 700,000 years or so. As a blank sheet, his aura had still been there, but it hadn't truly felt real.
But now, with this strike, he had defined his existence.
The clash of his two Perfected Refined Laws. This was him.
This was who he was.
Earlier, Kyle's aura had been like a painting of a majestic mountain, but now that he had defined his existence...
The Overseer stood in front of the actual mountain.
Unmistakable and unmissable.
An aura so intense that it broke all convention.
A mountain in front of a stone.
A lion in front of a housecat.
An ocean in front of a lake.
Unbelievably vast and blindingly bright.
Red and Black turned to look at the Overseer, who had already prepared for a True Battle.
Red and Black pulled their hammers over their shoulders.
"But you may call me Kyle."
