Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1147: Mountain Base

Chapter 1147: Mountain Base

Kyle and Sebastian arrived on Mountain Base. Mountain Base was one of the largest and most fortified Planets in the entire Main Dimension. In fact, it wasn't even a Natural Planet, but an artificial one. It was constructed out of Major Earth, and countless fortifications and Formation Arrays made of Immortal Metal stretched through it.

As they looked around, they saw a scary number of Seekers. The Planet literally had trillions of Seekers of different levels, which was strange. There were only a couple of Law Wells and no beasts. The number of buildings was also surprisingly small. There were only a couple of buildings, but all of them bore the symbol of the Wargod's Peak.

The symbol of the Wargod's Peak consisted of two mountains. One peak looked like an axe, while the other looked like a hammer. The two peaks touched, simulating a clash between weapons.

Their Divine Consciousnesses stretched across the Planet, and after a couple of seconds of watching, they could see what was going on.

Mountain Base had exactly one city, and it wasn't very big. This was also the only place where Seekers didn't seem to battle each other. Across the Planet, countless Seekers battled and killed each other.

When some people noticed Kyle and Sebastian appearing, they grimaced. A moment later, their communicators sent them a message, and they left the city.

'I see,' Kyle thought. 'The city is the only safe place, but you can only stay here for a limited time. If someone new appears, the person who has stayed the longest needs to leave.'

Based on which opponents the Seekers chose, Kyle could tell one thing.

'They are not seeking True Battles but valuables.'

"Let's not waste too much time," Sebastian transmitted to Kyle. Naturally, he had come to the same conclusion. It wasn't hard to see why there were so many Seekers and why they were desperately trying to gain valuables.

This Planet was for unaffiliated Seekers who sought an official identity. They were not allowed to leave. One would think they'd leave as soon as they got their identity, and that assumption was true. So the only reason they hadn't left yet was that they still didn't have any identification.

'Seems like we need to pay for the identification,' Kyle thought.

The two of them quickly found the building they sought. It was the biggest one and looked like a fortress from the Middle Ages. In fact, most buildings looked like fortresses. It seemed like this was just the preferred architectural style of the Wargod's Peak.

They tried to teleport to the building but stopped. Teleportation was suppressed by several Formation Arrays. Kyle could still force teleportation, but Sebastian couldn't. In the end, they simply flew to the building.

As soon as they entered, they noticed two long queues. One of the queues led to a counter with a sign saying, "payment", while the other queue led to a counter with a sign saying, "information". The information queue was much longer than the payment queue.

'Well, time to queue up,' Kyle thought as the two of them went to the back of the queue.

Luckily, since everyone was conversing via voice transmissions, the queue moved forward rapidly. Almost no "customer" took up more than a second of time.

Within just a couple of minutes, Kyle and Sebastian reached the front of the queue. The clerk behind the counter was a Minor Sage, who was currently undergoing his next Refinement.

"Are you two in a group?" the clerk asked via voice transmission.

"Yes," Kyle answered.

"Realms?" the clerk asked.

"We have Avatars, but we're not Immortals. You can see our Realms," Kyle answered.

"Are you here for identification?" the clerk asked. He didn't even seem surprised that two Fulfilled Ascendants had appeared.

"Correct," Kyle answered.

"Read this and leave the building," the clerk said, handing them two emblems containing information.

Kyle and Sebastian took the emblems and walked out of the building, reading through the information.

The information basically included everything they needed to know about Mountain Base and the Wargod's Peak.

Sadly, most of it was useless because it related to the rules of the Main Dimension. The emblems mentioned several times that the rules for the Immortal Dimension were different, but they didn't mention in what way they differed.

After digesting the information, they also got an answer as to why so many Seekers were searching for money.

'An unaffiliated Transcendent needs to pay ten Grade Four Energy Stones to become a citizen. Ten Grade Four Energy Stones represent a thousand years of work for a Primal. That's a ridiculous amount of money for a Transcendent.'

When Kyle saw the prices the two of them had to pay, he had to sigh.

"Ten Grade Nine Energy Stones per person,' Kyle thought with a sigh. 'Alternatively, we can also directly join the Wargod's Peak. This offer only works for Fulfilled Sages, Advanced Spirit Lords, and all Ascendants. If we were to join, we would even get ten Grade Nine Energy Stones.'

'Luckily, I have enough Immortal Metals for both of us.'

In the next moment, the two Emblems turned into temporary Communicators. Kyle opened his Communicator menu and clicked a button that said he was ready to pay. Moments later, the Communicator called Kyle and Sebastian into the building, and they joined the other queue.

It took a couple of minutes to reach the end of the queue, and they were greeted by another bored Sage.

"Payment," the Sage transmitted lifelessly.

Kyle put several mountains of Immortal Metals into a Space Ring. Summoning tons of materials inside of a building would be inconvenient, and accessing someone's Soul Space was also unacceptable. That was why there were Space Rings.

The clerk put the Space Ring on a small Formation Array, which shone with a red light later.

When Kyle saw that, his brows furrowed. "Not enough?" he asked.

"Red is good. Green is bad," the clerk answered with unending boredom. "Red is blood. The Wargod's Peak fights. Green is peace. Green is bad. Red is good, and so on. You've paid too much. Take whatever's left in the Space Ring. That's your change."

Kyle accessed the Space Ring, and he noticed that half of his Immortal Metals were left.

"I paid for both of us," Kyle answered.

"Yes, you did," the clerk groaned. "That's your change. Just take it."

Kyle raised an eyebrow, then emptied the Space Ring.

"Give me your rings," the clerk transmitted.

The two of them handed over their rings, and the clerk retrieved five new ones. These were actual, permanent Communicators, and they represented their citizenship. Each Avatar got one ring.

"Here's your identification. Welcome to the Wargod's Peak. Shed some blood in our name. Always be courageous. Don't run from battle and so on, bla, bla, bla. Goodbye."

All of Sebastian's and Kyle's Avatars wore their rings.

"Thank you," the two of them transmitted before walking out of the building.

'That leaves us with about 90 Grade Nine Energy Stones in the form of Immortal Metals and 8,000 Grade Eight Energy Stones. So, we have a total net worth of about a hundred Grade Nine Energy Stones.'

Kyle looked at his new Communicator.

'And just like that, we can go wherever we want.'

'It was expensive, but it was also easier than expected.'
