Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1161: Order and Chaos

Chapter 1161: Order and Chaos

Kyle's perception warped again, and in the next moment, he saw the real world again. Black's team was still inside the Planet in the Hell Dimension, but Red's team was in a completely new environment. After all, Kyle had pushed Red's team to the Hero Dimension during his advancement.

Sadly, Kyle didn't have any time to look at his surroundings since the advancement hadn't finished yet.

The Energy inside his Avatars increased even more. Kyle felt like he was about to reach another wall. It was like there was an additional breakthrough waiting for him.

His instincts told him to let his Energy do whatever it wanted, and he decided to do just that.

The Energy inside his existence moved around in chaotic patterns. There was some kind of logic behind it, but to Kyle, it seemingly made no sense.

The image of a hammer appeared inside of Kyle's mind. It was his hammer. It was his Imposing Law. It was him.

'This is me,' he thought, looking at the image of his hammer. 'This represents my memories, my experiences, my thoughts, and my existence.'

The hammer in the image spun slowly as shockwaves slowly expanded outward. The hammer was hard, slow, deliberate, and heavy. One strike could break everything.

A hammer was slow, but it was powerful. Every strike had to be deliberate and well-planned. It spoke of determination and conviction. If the hammer attacked, it needed to hit. Stopping halfway through would be devastating. A hammer wasn't supposed to stop. As soon as it started swinging, it had to finish the swing.

Memories of his life shot through Kyle's mind, and as he thought about it, he felt disconnected.

'That's not me,' Kyle thought. 'Describing my life with just a normal hammer wouldn't be accurate. I have conviction, but I can also change my mind. I'm not someone who keeps going when I realize that I've made a mistake.'

'I am a hammer, but only sometimes. When I know that I'm doing the right thing, I pull through, but when I know that I've made a mistake, I pull back. I know that fully committing to the wrong path is better than stopping halfway through. At least you get somewhere. If you're indecisive, you won't even get anywhere.'

'But that's just not who I am.'

Kyle remembered Swamp Dragon's choice of sacrificing Humanity. In his mind, he knew it had been the right choice.

'I don't want to do what my mind tells me is right.'

'I want to listen to my heart.'

'Listening to my mind will lead me down the easiest path to supreme power, but what's the point when the path leads to regret? I don't want to be a person who works until they die of old age just to accumulate more resources. I don't want training and comprehension to be a job that I'm forced to do. I want it to be fun. I want my life to be colorful.'

Kyle looked at the image of the hammer in his mind.

The hammer had already started swinging, and its target was supreme power.

'I still want supreme power, but I don't want to sacrifice everything else to get to it.'

'This hammer is me, but only partially.'

'It's too simple. It lacks complexity. It needs more facets.'

'It needs...'

'More.'

Kyle's home, the old Ayuvar, shot through his mind as he looked at the hammer, and as he thought about his home, the image inside his mind changed.

Countless tiny crevices appeared in the hammer. These crevices were not chaotic but very orderly.

The crevices deepened, and moments later...

BANG!

The crevices connected with each other, turning the massive hammer into a thousand pieces. Yet, the pieces remained in place. The silhouette of the hammer was still there, but it was no longer a single piece.

Instead, there were now a thousand smaller hammers, and their positions created the image of a big hammer.

'I prefer this,' Kyle thought as he looked at the tiny hammers. 'All of them are together. All of them are working towards the same goal.'

Yet, Kyle still wasn't completely happy with it. When he looked at it, he was reminded of Swamp Dragon and Manny.

'They might be individuals, but they are not truly individuals. Every hammer is like every other hammer. These are not individuals but Avatars. They are still one thing. There's no variety.'

At that moment, Elemental Energies flowed into the individual hammers. The Elemental Energies flowed with different intensities and compositions into different hammers. Some of the hammers turned black, while others turned red, green, orange, pink, white, blue, grey, and so on. All of the colors one could imagine were present.

One's Natural Affinities were dictated by their personality since the Elements also had personalities and emotions.

Fire was energetic and fast-growing, but it also easily lost control.

Wind was carefree and relaxed, but it often avoided obstacles instead of confronting them.

Metal was determined and controlled, but it was also overbearing, leaving no room for compassion or mercy.

Earth was stalwart and reliable, but it was inflexible. Changing represented breaking into pieces.

Water was flexible and compassionate, but it was also indecisive.

Lightning was intelligent and decisive, but it knew no restraint. Once it struck, either the target or itself would stop existing.

Light was supportive and altruistic, but it had no survival instinct. Once it hit something, it brought light and warmth to the target before vanishing forever.

Darkness was protective and ambitious, but it was also greedy. It would keep consuming until only itself and its allies were left.

The eight Elements represented the facets of life, but one Element alone couldn't create life. No complex life form could exist with only one Element.

A life that followed Fire perfectly would keep destroying until someone stopped it or it ran out of fuel.

A life that followed Wind would ironically not move at all and just die. Resources and food were hard to come by, which constituted an obstacle.

Metal would break itself, just like Earth, Lightning, and Light. Water would die like Wind, and darkness would die like Fire.

For life to flourish, the Elements had to control and restrain each other.

Fire needed Metal's control.

Metal needed Water's compassion.

Water needed Lightning's decisiveness.

Lightning needed Earth's restraint.

Earth needed Wind's relaxation.

Wind needed Darkness' ambition.

Darkness needed Light's altruism.

Light needed Fire's power of expansion.

Yet, if all of the Elements perfectly restrained each other, there wouldn't be life. Life represented change. Life changed, moved, consumed, discharged, and changed its surroundings. A life with an equal distribution of all the Elements would have just as many facets as a life without the Elements.

Perfect order couldn't support life, but perfect chaos also couldn't support life. One was unchanging, while the other had no identity.

All of the tiny hammers inside the big hammer had different colors, representing the different compositions of their Elements. Each hammer had all of the eight Elements inside of it, but they were all unbalanced and uneven.

Some hammers were prone to losing control, but they also regretted their actions and tried to make amends.

Some hammers were supportive, but they also pushed back when another one asked for too much.

Some hammers were committed, but they were also indecisive, rarely making a move.

Some hammers wanted resources, but they also gave their resources to the hammers they liked.

Kyle watched as all of the small hammers vibrated at different frequencies. They still remained in their positions, but they also interacted with each other.

When Kyle saw that, a smile appeared on his face.

'This is me.'
