Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1177: Clash

Chapter 1177: Clash

"How much longer do you need?" a red-haired woman asked the black-haired man beside him. "He's still searching for me."

"My Avatar still needs a couple of seconds," the man answered with a frown. "If he finds you, try to buy some time."

"I'll do my best," she transmitted. "To think that a Beginner Immortal would cause me such issues."

"He's there with all three of his Avatars while you only have one," the man transmitted back. "It's the right choice to avoid battle."

Two tense seconds passed.

"He found me!" the female Immortal transmitted with urgency and worry.

The male Immortal gritted his teeth. Why couldn't the Contrast Empire be faster in giving their permission?!

His wife had a Sin Hunter License, allowing her to freely enter the Hell Dimension to hunt Sinners and Cultists. However, Sin Hunter Licenses were only given to affiliates and unaffiliated members. Actual members of the Contrast Empire could only travel to the Hell Dimension with permission. The reason for that was simple.

Going to the Hell Dimension to hunt Sinners and Cultists alone was exceptionally risky. The Contrast Empire didn't allow its members to travel to the Hell Dimension by themselves.

If the Contrast Empire weren't so slow, the man could have already reached his wife!

"I'm in the Hell Dimension!" the man transmitted.

"Did you finally get permission?" the woman asked.

"No," the man answered in a severe tone.

The woman took a deep breath. For her, he had broken the Contrast Empire's rules.

"I can't wait any longer," the woman transmitted as her eyes narrowed. "I need to engage!"

BANG!

In the Hell Dimension, the warped space broke like a piece of glass, and a female Adept Immortal shot into the distance.

"Oh, you wanna run?" Grey asked as all three members of the Abyss Hammer Team shot forward.

"I'm running, and he's chasing me," the Adept Immortal transmitted to her husband with some worry. "I think I can hold him off for some time, but I'm not sure."

"Two more seconds," the man transmitted.

Meanwhile, Black's eyes narrowed as he watched the running Adept Immortal.

'If you had simply answered me, I would've let you go,' Kyle thought. 'I mean, yeah, you're probably here to gain some Karmic Luck by hunting people like me, but I'm not a monster, you know? You could've just talked to me.'

"I'm in his Domain!" the man transmitted to his wife.

At the same time, Kyle noticed a new person. 'Another Adept Immortal? This one is a bit stronger than the first one. He's also wearing the uniforms of the Contrast Empire, while she's just wearing normal clothing.'

'I should end this before even more people appear.'

The Domains of the two Adept Immortals expanded and pushed Kyle's Domain back. The majority of space was still occupied by Kyle's Domain, but he couldn't surround the two Adept Immortals with his Domain anymore.

The two Adept Immortals turned around and rushed towards Kyle. The Primordial Forces warped around them, increasing their speed drastically. Most weaker Immortals infused themselves with the Law of Primordial Forces while using their Elemental Laws to create an External Law. They usually didn't use Refined Laws since they were still working on increasing the quality of their Imposing Laws.

The average Adept Immortal had an Infused Level 8.5 Law and an External Level 8.5 Law. Their Imposing Laws were usually between 70% and 90%.

The bodies of the two Adept Immortals shone as they readied their Imposing Law of Self. Most Immortals used themselves as their Imposing Law since this was the only proven way to reach 100% quality. Sadly, improving one's self wasn't easy and took a long time.

Light and Darkness Energies flowed into the man's body as Water and Fire Energies flowed into the woman's body. A moment later, they pushed their palms forward.

Two gigantic palms appeared above Grey. The palms had two colors each. The colors became fainter as they reached the edge of the hands and became more intense as they reached the middle, which was where they met.

The man was a member of the Contrast Empire, while the woman was a former member. The two of them knew how to use their contrasting Elements to improve their powers. With this attack, they could combine the powers of their External and Imposing Laws. This attack was not a Refined Law, but the two powers still strengthened each other.

Naturally, their plan was to kill one Avatar first to even the playing field.

As Grey looked at the two approaching palms, his brows furrowed. The attacks were stronger than he had expected.

Space warped around the three hammers, and moments later, Black, White, and Grey swung their hammers forward.

Grey's hammer hit the two palms.

BOOOOOM!

A black hole seemed to appear in reality as the corrosive effects of the Minor Law of Death created a space of hungering destruction.

Grey's arms shook.

CRK!

Tears appeared in the two palms, and moments later...

BANG!

The two palms exploded, their powers scattering across the surroundings, destroying tens of smaller Planets and damaging several larger Planets.

When the two Adept Immortals saw that, their eyes widened in horror.

How had one Beginner Immortal Avatar stopped both of their attacks?! Sure, they had used ranged, illusory attacks, which were weaker than material attacks, but they were not that much weaker!

He barely even lost Energy!

But then, they noticed that two gigantic, illusory hammers appeared above them. Reality warped around the hammers and turned black as they moved towards the Adept Immortals.

The two noticed that the reality around them had been locked down. They wanted to use their Domains to warp reality so that they could avoid the attacks, but the reality-warping power of the hammers overwhelmed their own powers.

They couldn't evade! They had to block!

Their bodies shone with light as they moved their palms forward. This time, there were no illusory palms. Instead, the Energies around them created gigantic, solid palms.

The palms and the hammers rushed towards each other as Kyle watched calmly.

'I can see why attaining 100% quality with your Imposing Law is such a big thing. Whenever they use their attacks, they have to commit a certain amount of Energy. Based on what I can sense, they have each committed about 70% of their Energy. Every clash drains Energy, and you get most of the remaining Energy back, but not all of it. However, they're also using their External Laws, and you don't get any Energy back when you attack with your External Law.'

'With my Weapon Avatars, each of my Avatars has just as much Energy as each of their Avatars. I can commit all of my Energy to this strike, and the only Energy I lose is the bit I need to invest to activate the Refined Law.'

'100% of my Energy, used on a powerful Refined Law versus 70% of your Energy, used on a mediocre Imposing Law and a weak Level 8.5 Law.'

The palms and hammer hit.

CRACK!

The palms broke into pieces, losing all of the Energy that had been invested in them.

In the Immortal Dimension, the other Avatars of the male and female Adept Immortals looked at each other in shock.

What were their Avatars currently seeing?!

This was a Beginner Immortal, but they might not even be able to win against a single Avatar of his!

Who... who the fuck was this guy?!

Their Avatars in the Hell Dimension were desperately trying to resist the hammers, but nothing worked.

In the Immortal Dimension, the two Immortals looked at each other in fear.

"I have to inform my teacher!" the man transmitted.

At the same time, the hammers hit the two Avatars.

BANG!

The two Avatars were annihilated.

Black narrowed his eyes.

The Avatar of the male Immortal quickly accessed his Communicator, but then, a feeling of infinite terror assaulted him.

The Karmic Line leading to his destroyed Avatar hadn't dissipated yet! The Karmic Line was supposed to vanish as soon as the Avatar was destroyed!

Yet, it was still there!

Then, mere instants later, the Karmic Line shone with a black light before exploding.

BANG! BANG!

The Avatars of the male and female Adept Immortals in the Immortal Dimension exploded.

BANG!

The male Immortal's third Avatar, which was currently located near a Level Eight Law Well belonging to the Contrast Empire, exploded as well.

Both Immortals lost all of their Avatars.

They were dead.
