Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1200: Acting Weak

Chapter 1200: Acting Weak

Featherfall Willow rapidly moved towards Kyle, Wind and Water Energies warping his surroundings. His Infused Law focused on his speed and adaptability, pushing both of them to the extreme.

Countless materials appeared around Red and Blue, forming a complex Formation Array. Featherfall Willow knew a bit about Formation Arrays, but he couldn't tell what purpose this Formation Array had.

Formation Array Masters were trouble. The more time they had to build their fortress, the more dangerous they became. That was why the Leader had sent him. After all, he was the fastest in the team.

Everything around Featherfall Willow warped. He even used his External Law to increase his speed.

Within a fraction of a second, he reached Kyle's Formation Arrays. Without hesitation, he broke through the Formation Arrays' Domain. Energy gathered around his right index finger.

Then, he pointed towards Red and shoved his hand forward.

Blue placed one last Connection before grabbing Red's left hand with his right.

Just when the finger was about to reach Red, the Energy inside the Domain of Formation Arrays changed. Featherfall Willow noticed that the Energies were entering Blue's body before being redirected towards Red's body.

Now, Featherfall Willow knew the purpose of this complex Formation Array.

'A Gathering and Transfusion Formation Array,' he thought with severity. Energy Gathering Formation Arrays sacrificed their materials to pull in a big chunk of Energy, while Transfusion Formation Arrays could push this Energy from the controller of the Formation Array to another person within its Domain.

Energy gathered around Red's Hammer, which he held in his right hand.

Featherfall Willow noticed and extended a second finger. Even more Energy gathered around him as he used his Imposing Law a second time. His Imposing Law only had a quality of 45%, which meant that he could use it twice. With a weapon, using an Imposing Law twice wasn't really possible since a user only had one weapon. Yet, Featherfall Willow was using his finger, and he had ten of those.

An illusory finger shot out of the middle finger and flew right towards the hammer as the index finger kept moving towards Red.

At that moment, all of the Energy inside Red's hammer and body moved towards Blue. Blue's body shot forward. Red, Red's hammer, and Blue's hammer remained stationary as Blue's body shot forward at terrifying speeds.

The illusory finger hit Red's hammer.

BANG!

The hammer vibrated violently and shot backward. A storm of Energy shot out of Red's body as he tanked the transmitted force in exchange for losing Energy.

Blue's right leg extended as Featherfall Willow's finger turned to point towards it.

All of the Energy inside Kyle's Human and Weapon Avatars seemingly flowed into Blue's foot as an image of a hammer appeared around it.

A hammer could be swung by a person, but a person could also be swung by a hammer. With a Perfected Weapon Imposing Law, the weapon and the wielder became one and the same up to a certain limit.

BANG!

Energy violently exploded out of Blue as the finger's force devastated his body. He lost almost 70% of his Energy, but he was still alive.

Featherfall Willow realized in horror that he had just lost 90% of his Energy. He was essentially out!

Blue's body shot backward, but he used all of his remaining power to throw Red forward. Yet, Red didn't even move. Instead of using the received forward momentum, he redirected it towards his hammer.

Red's hammer moved forward with insane speed.

Featherfall Willow's surroundings warped as he used almost all of his remaining Energy to move backward.

Sadly, he just wasn't fast enough. The hammer reached him in an instant, and he realized that the life of this Avatar was forfeit.

The hammer hit.

BOOOOM!

Featherfall Willow exploded into pieces. While his body broke into tiny particles of Energy, surprisingly, his head remained fully intact.

Featherfall Willow realized that his Avatar had survived. Since Immortals had undergone Fusion, they didn't have true weaknesses anymore. As long as a droplet-sized chunk of their existence remained, they could recover.

He realized what the survival of his Avatar represented. An Immortal could control their Energy very well. If his opponent wanted to kill him, he would be dead right now. This attack could have easily annihilated his head as well, but it hadn't.

Kyle had left him alive on purpose, and the reason for his decision was more than clear.

The Insurance Fee and Karmic Luck.

At that moment, the other combatants looked at Kyle's body in shock.

Featherfall Willow had been taken out of the battle.

"I accept my loss," Featherfall Willow transmitted to everyone around him. "I swear, I will not betray my Karma."

These two sentences were another code. By saying these sentences, the person would be forced to wait until the winner decided their fate. If they tried to launch a sneak attack or flee, all of their Karmic Luck would vanish, and they would condense a True Sin Aura.

Red pushed the head out of his Formation Arrays and summoned more materials.

'Acting weak is kinda hard,' Kyle thought. 'I had to slow all of my movements and disperse my own Energy to make it seem like I've taken damage. I even had to actively weaken my Domain.'

'But I think my performance was good enough. I clearly, but not easily, defeated my opponent by using two Avatars and a fake Formation Array. I didn't even really jump a level from an outsider's perspective since I've used two Avatars.'

Red and Blue summoned more materials and created another fake Formation Array.

At that moment, the Leader was charging towards Abyssal Depths again, who was retreating towards Kyle's location. Sebastian was also charging towards Kyle.

When the Leader and Adamantine Warden noticed this change, they gritted their teeth and stopped chasing.

They were in a ton of trouble. If they chased, they would be fighting at a numerical disadvantage inside the enemy's Formation Arrays. If they remained stationary, they would lose their Energy advantage, giving their enemy time to recover.

They had lost, and now, they had to make another choice. Fighting was not one of these choices.

They could flee and abandon Featherfall Willow. They had not conceded, which meant that they wouldn't lose all of their Karmic Luck if they fled. They wouldn't lose any Energy Stones or Avatars, but they would still lose an entire level of Karmic Luck.

The other choice...

"The Natural Mandate is yours to invoke," the Leader transmitted with a heavy voice.

The disagreement had been solved. They had admitted that they were the weaker party.

If necessary, the Leader could flee from Team Ankylosaurus, but Adamantine Warden couldn't. On top of that, there was the New Immortal on their team, who was even slower. If the Leader fled, he would lose his entire team.

When a Leader abandoned a team, the team wouldn't survive. The Leader would be alone, and his reputation would drop into the abyss. It was seen as cowardly when a member abandoned the team, but it was despicable when a Leader did that.

It would be exceptionally difficult to find another Excursion Team willing to take him.

Yet, even without all of these negative consequences, the Leader still wouldn't do it.

These two Adept Immortals were his friends, and he wouldn't abandon them.

"The Natural Mandate shall spare you," Kyle transmitted to the Leader, Adamantine Warden, and the New Immortal.

At that moment, large bursts of Karmic Luck washed over Team Ankylosaurus. Kyle's Karmic Luck went from slightly negative to slightly positive. Abyssal Depths lost the Second Curse of Karmic Luck. Sebastian's Hero Aura intensified. If he got another burst of Karmic Luck, he might receive the Fourth Blessing of Karmic Luck.

Finally, Kyle looked at Featherfall Willow.

"Hope you got insurance."
