Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1215: No Boasting

Chapter 1215: No Boasting

The Minor Immortal entered the hole with all three of his Avatars.

As soon as he went past the Formation Arrays, he found Red and Blue. They were waiting in the underground cave where the Gravity Water had been. They were just waiting there, their hammers resting on their right shoulders.

The Minor Immortal raised an eyebrow in mild surprise. He hadn't truly expected Kyle to be here.

Sure, he had entertained the idea that Kyle would heroically wait for him, but the chances of Kyle making a run for it and abandoning his team had been higher.

After all, this wouldn't be the first time in which a leader of a team said that they would deal with something before running away as soon as everyone else had left.

The three Avatars entered the underground cave and looked at Kyle from above with a calm gaze.

Red and Blue just smiled as they saw him.

"Glad you could make it," Red said.

The Minor Immortal looked at Kyle for a moment.

"There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity," he commented. "You didn't abandon your team, which can be considered heroic, but it was also stupid. What do you have to gain from confronting me in this way?"

"What do I have to gain?" Kyle repeated. "I don't know. If you could give me access to your Soul Space, I could answer that question."

"Funny," the Minor Immortal commented without amusement. "What is your great plan? Do you have helpers? Do you believe your Formation Arrays can help you?"

"Probably not," Kyle answered. "Based on your aura, I can guess that one of your Affinities is for Space. You've probably already gained insights into the True Laws of Space. You're probably pretty good at manifesting space, which is the bane of all Formation Arrays."

"Your guess is correct," the Minor Immortal answered. "I've spent a long time comprehending Space Manifestation. I fear few Formation Array Masters."

The Minor Immortal looked around.

"Do we need to start the battle first, or can your friends reveal themselves now?"

"There's nobody else here," Kyle answered with a smile. "It's just us two, or us five, if we're talking about Avatars."

The Minor Immortal looked at Kyle evenly.

"Are you suggesting that you're truly the only one here?"

Kyle nodded.

"You're telling me that you're actually willing to die here? For what?" he asked.

"I'm not dying here," Kyle answered. "You're going to die, and you're going to die to me and only me."

"And you're going to accomplish this feat without Formation Arrays?" the Minor Immortal asked with skepticism. "Earlier, I saw some heroism in your actions, but now, I can only see delusion and baseless grandeur."

Red and Blue just grinned widely.

"You know, I enjoy this talk quite a bit," Kyle answered. "I think I understand why people enjoy endlessly jerking off about their power. You're not directly boasting, but your demeanor, your tone, and your choice of words clearly show your pride and your disregard. You're boasting without boasting."

The Minor Immortal just calmly blinked once.

"I'm not that good at boasting," Kyle answered with a smile. "Also, I'm not exactly a subtle guy. How about, for once, you allow me to boast as well? I rarely get a chance to boast."

The Minor Immortal looked at Kyle like he was looking at a lunatic. However, it didn't really matter. He would be dead soon anyway.

"You're interesting enough," the Minor Immortal answered. "Make it quick."

"Before I do, I have a question," Kyle transmitted. "If I kill all three of your Avatars here, will Extended Family come for me? How long until they get here?"

The Minor Immortal blinked once.

"You're asking me to reveal our internal workings as an enemy?"

"What's the damage?" Kyle asked. "You're going to kill me anyway, right?"

"I will kill these two Avatars," the Minor Immortal answered. "Your last Avatar isn't here. The secret will not remain secret."

"Oh, come on," Kyle answered. "I just want to know if they will know who killed you."

"I am on a retribution mission," the Minor Immortal said. "They know you're my target. That's as much as I will reveal. It's not a secret anyway. Now, get on with your boasting. Your delusion is interesting, but it's starting to bore me."

"Fine," Red said. "Then..."

Kyle remained silent for a moment.

His smile slowly vanished. A moment later, he frowned with annoyance.

Finally, he sighed.

"Actually, forget it," Kyle answered as he looked to the side with annoyed acceptance.

"Is this part of the performance?" the Minor Immortal asked with boredom.

"No, just... forget it," Kyle answered. "I just realized that you're faster than me. If I go too hard, you will run away, and it will be difficult for me to catch up with you. As always, I have to strike first."

"This sucks. Why can't I act like a peacock for once? Why do I always have to act like I'm weak?"

One of the Minor Immortal's brows rose.

"That was surprisingly good," he commented. "The way you acted almost made me believe that you may have a fighting chance."

One of his Avatars stepped forward and pointed his palm towards Kyle.

"I've granted your last wish. Before I kill you, just for the rules' sake, you're not willing to make amends in any other way, correct?"

Kyle sighed again.

"No," he said as he looked to the side with acceptance.

"Then, I'll send you on your way," the Minor Immortal said as Energy gathered around his palm.

Red and Blue just watched as an illusory palm appeared behind the Minor Immortal.

Based on the Energy density, Kyle could tell that the Minor Immortal's Imposing Law had a quality of over 90%.

'As expected, Minor Immortals are strong enough to threaten me somewhat. If I don't weaken the attack, I won't get out unscathed.'

BANG!

Red and Blue split up. Both of them made a beeline towards the Minor Immortal but from different sides.

'If I just block his attack, he might fuck off. I gotta reach him!'

The palm of the first Avatar aimed towards Blue, while a second Avatar pointed his palm towards Red.

The last Avatar simply waited behind the first two.

There was no way that Kyle could survive an attack launched with 93% of a Minor Immortal's Energy Storage.

Just when the two palms were about to launch, the surroundings changed.

Kyle activated his Domain.

All the Elemental Energies in the surroundings listened to his command as reality lost all of its potential.

In response, one of the Avatars of the Minor Immortal activated his Domain as well.

With an advantage of two levels, it shouldn't be hard to suppress Kyle's Domain, even though it was activated by two Avatars.

The two Domains clashed, and...

The Minor Immortal saw his Domain being pushed back.

It wasn't pushed back into his body, but it was definitely on the losing side.

This made no sense!

He had an Infused Law of Primordial Force, a Level 8.5 Law!

With two Beginner Immortal Avatars, Kyle couldn't possibly push his Domain back!

If both of his Avatars activated their Domain, it would be like one Adept Immortal activating their Domain.

This Adept Immortal would need an Infused Level Nine Law just to evenly compete with a Minor Immortal's Infused Level 8.5 Law.

But Kyle was winning!

How?!

Yet, just when the Minor Immortal realized that something wasn't right, and just when he was about to launch his attacks...

Something even worse happened.
