Chapter 969: Youngest Sister: Gu Lan

Gu Lan sobbed for a few moments, then she slowly got a hold of her emotions.

‘D-Don’t tell me, it’s Third Brother’s… manhood?’ Suddenly her eyes widened in realization and her breath hitched.

She knew men got hard whenever they were sexually aroused.

‘He… Third Brother… Did I arouse him? How?’ Her mind was a mess because of all the embarrassment and shame she was feeling.

Just as she was about to start panicking, she felt him remove his chin from the top of her head, pull his upper body slightly away from her and look at her with a concerned look on his face as he gently asked, “You okay, Fourth Sister?”

“Ah, Yes, I-I’m good. I’m just very happy to see you well, Third Brother.” Gu Lan quickly regained composure.

“I’m also happy to see you again, Fourth Sister.” Max smiled.

Gu Lan’s heart skipped a beat and she became dazed for a moment as she stared at him.

Max somewhat awkwardly scratched his cheek and asked, “Is something on my face, Fourth Sister?”

Gu Lan’s face reddened when she realized she was staring at him.

“No, it’s not that, Third Brother.” She stepped back which forced Max to release, albeit reluctantly, his hold on her waist.

“It’s just that you have become a lot more good looking and I got a bit surprised.” She added.

Max released a bit more of his charm as he acted hurt, “Don’t make fun of me, Fourth Sister. I’m just skin and bones. How could I look good?”

‘It’s not just skin and bones…’ Gu Lan found herself thinking as she sneaked a glance at Max’s waist. Noticing the bulge in his robes, her face turned hotter.

‘Have I gone mad? Why am I looking at him like that…’ She berated herself but found herself sneaking another glance at his thing. At the same time, she felt a weird tingling sensation on her breasts and lower abdomen.

Her face turned pale white as if she had seen a ghost.

‘W-what’s wrong with me? Have I truly gone mad?’ She screamed in her heart while her eyes welled up. She was feeling very ashamed of herself for feeling like this.

Seeing this, Max sighed and suppressed his charm again. Then he stepped towards her, placed a hand on her shoulder and asked, “What’s wrong, Lan’er?”

Gu Lan trembled when he touched her and instinctively took a step back. When she realized what she had done, she looked at Max and as expected, she saw him looking at her in confusion and with a hurt look in his eyes.

“Big Brother… I-I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s happening with me. Wah~” When she finished her sentence, she started crying like a child.

Seeing this, Max’s brotherly instincts flared up but before he could feel any guilt, his mind focused again.

With a step, he arrived before her and pulled her in his embrace, a hand on her mid back, soothingly caressing it, while the other went on the back of her head as he pressed it against his shoulder.

“Shhh! Don’t cry. Just tell me what’s wrong and your Big Brother promises to fix it.” He said, then asked, “Tell me, did someone bully you?”

Gu Lan found herself calming down in his embrace. Hearing him, she sniffled and grunted, “…No.”

“Then what’s wrong?” asked Max.

“Third Brother—”

“Call me Big Brother.” He interrupted her.

Gu Lan smiled despite herself upon hearing this and nestled her face in his chest. Then she hesitantly said, “Big Brother… I felt your thing poking my belly.”

“…Okay?”

Gu Lan’s uneasy heart settled when she saw him react normally.

Taking a breath, she gathered her courage, looked up at him and asked in a very soft voice, “Did you get excited because… of me?”

Max lowered his gaze to look at her, then he nodded, “Yes and I’m not ashamed of it.”

His eyes swept over her thin but luscious pink lips, her slender neck and the rest of her body before he added, “You are a very beautiful woman, little sister. Any man would get aroused if they were to hug you like I did.”

Gu Lan reddened in embarrassment and hit his chest with her tiny fists.

“W-What nonsense are you spouting, Big Brother?” She pouted as she glared at him with her doe eyes.

Throb!

Max’s little brother, which was once again pressed against her soft belly, throbbed with desire when he saw her act like this.

Gu Lan felt it and her eyes widened before her face flushed even more.

Max thought she would pull away again, but contrary to his expectations, she didn’t. Instead, she hid her face in his chest and inhaled deeply while mumbling, “You… pervert.”

‘Now this was easy.’ Max thought, surprised. He was still using his charm, but the intensity was low enough to barely help her suppress her shame and embarrassment and become a little more accepting of her feelings.

Suddenly his eyes flashed, ‘She has feelings for me, or rather, Gu Chen?’

He should have already thought of this earlier when instead of telling him she was feeling weird or embarrassed, she had asked him ‘Did you get excited because of me?’

“Do you like me as a man, Lan’er?” He asked.

Gu Lan blushed, then she raised her head and glared at him, “Didn’t I tell you this already?”

“Oh, when?” Max asked and immediately realized he had made a mistake.

As expected, Gu Lan’s expression darkened and she pitched his waist and twisted, “You don’t remember?”

“I remember. Of course, I do. I was just kidding with you. Now let go.” He immediately said while Gu Chen’s memories with her flashed in his mind one after another and a split second later, he locked on a specific memory of eight years ago.

One day, Gu Chen was playing with her or was rather dragged around the estate by her. After a while, they got exhausted and sat beneath a cherry blossom tree. There, Gu Lan had suddenly looked at him and said, “I like you, big brother. When I grow up, I want to marry you, become your wife and always play with you like this.”

In response, Gu Chen, who liked his sister’s company and her lively energy, had laughed and said, “Okay, we’ll marry then.”

‘Damn, she took that seriously and developed real, romantic feelings?’ He was amazed.
