Chapter 1451: Gaia
Chapter 1451: Gaia
The energy gradually turned into a human form. The power of life manifested in full force.
"What is this pressure?" Bella gritted her teeth.
Evelyn put her hand in front, using her energy to protect herself, Bella, and Revon. Luna casually watched the entire thing despite feeling the pressure.
"What a rude greeting." Xolotl harrumphed.
"Rude greeting? It is your honor to have me grace you with my presence." A female voice echoed from the humanoid form.
The powerful force of life condensed and erupted one more time like a shock wave. It would become the end of her ’greetings.’
The shock wave formed life in the affected area. Flowers and vines started to grow from the wooden floor, walls, and ceiling.
The shock wave ultimately shook the entire house, alerting the others.
The humanoid light cracked and shattered as a woman walked out of her cocoon.
Her beauty could be described as otherworldly. It gave a different feeling from Luna or Evelyn.
With long wavy brown hair flowing down her back as well as a flower tiara on her head, she exuded a graceful feeling that blended with nature.
Her gentle eyes were giving a condescending look as if she were above everyone. She was wearing a flower-embroidered green dress.
Her golden staff was planted lightly on the wooden floor.
’So, this is... Gaia," Nathan thought. Unlike Evelyn and Luna, she gave an ethereal feeling that made him feel as if she was out of touch.
Her eyes gradually turned to Nathan. "So, this is the boy who has that enormous karma. Boy, I’ll allow you to serve me."
"It looks like you need a beating first. No matter how rude you are, you shouldn’t talk to someone else before greeting your summoner." Xolotl stepped forth. "You lack basic manners."
"..." Gaia narrowed her eyes.
There was a spark between them.
Gaia scoffed. "To think he could tame someone like you?"
"Tame me? Of course not. However, I have recognized this person as my family. If you want to do anything to him, you have to pass me. Well, it’s not like I will be the only one." Xolotl smiled. His fighting spirit was rising.
Nathan couldn’t help but mutter, ’It looks like my choice is correct in not summoning Greek gods and goddesses. Then again, it has happened, so it can’t be helped.
’And Gaia is the most suitable goddess for my teacher.’
Gaia knew Xolotl was someone of her rank. In addition, Mae had been staring at her.
Although Mae wasn’t as strong as her, it didn’t mean she could ignore her either.
In the end, Gaia chose to back down before turning to Vivian. "So, you are my summoner, Vivian Lorelei. I am the Goddess of the Earth. You can consider me to be the goddess of the world as I hold the authority of the living beings on the planet.
"It looks like you are concerned about that guy. What is your relationship to him?"
"..." Vivian remained silent as if she refused to answer her.
"So, that’s how it is." Gaia smirked. "Well, it doesn’t matter right now. I’ve got an idea of why I came to this world.
"It looks like those people are still running rampant. If not for the lack of information, we wouldn’t have been defeated so miserably." Gaia snorted.
"So, you participated in that war?" Xolotl squinted his eyes.
"Of course, but I didn’t see you back then. Maybe you were too weak to participate in that war." Gaia tried to hit Xolotl back.
"Me? Without my life, the planet would have been destroyed. I’m the reason why that world is still intact until now." Xolotl crossed his arms. "While you? Heh. You have tried to do things but have had no result. Is there a difference between you taking action and not?"
"..." Gaia didn’t continue the argument, but there was a displeasure reflected in her eyes. "I will back down for the time being. For now..."
Gaia turned back to Vivian and said, "You... marry him!"
"Huh?" Vivian couldn’t maintain her silence any longer when Gaia commanded her to marry Nathan. "What are you talking about? He is my disciple. He is like a son to me."
"Disciple? Son?" Gaia raised her eyebrows before her lips curved as if she had found something amusing. "It looks like this world is more interesting than I originally thought. I’ll back down for the time being. Let’s talk again later, my summoner."
Gaia’s figure gradually vanished into thin air.
"..." Vivian started gasping for air. She never thought a familiar could be like this. Then again, divine beings had a big ego, so it would be weird for them to be extremely polite or recognize one as their master from the first meeting like Kun and Mae.
"It looks like we’re done." Nathan let out a sigh of relief. He turned to Vivian. "You can sort it out with her for now. If it’s too much, I can help you. Once the trust has been built, it’ll be fine."
Vivian nodded with a grim expression. She knew her task going forward. If she could make Gaia cooperate, she would be extremely strong. If she couldn’t, she might never summon Gaia anymore.
Either way, she could confirm it after she talked to her privately.
"Just make sure you don’t get tricked. Sera almost got tricked when she summoned the original sin of Lust, Asmodeus, for the first time."
"Don’t worry. I fully understand that." Vivian nodded her head, assuring Nathan that she would be fine.
"If that’s the case, it’s finally my turn." Nathan had prepared a certain divine beast in his mind. This beast was known for his loyalty, so Nathan should have no problem in cooperating with the divine beast.
Nathan placed the main sacrifice in the middle, which was a bird known as a kite. He also placed a green jade next to it along with a few others.
"Let’s begin." Nathan smiled.
"O’ Miracle of the World, Divine Being of Summoning, please use my body as the beacon and grant the beloved being your passage. By my name, Nathan, heed my call and come forth to this world, the great being of another world."
