Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1454: New Brothers

Chapter 1454: New Brothers

Little did she know, their conversation was actually observed by two individuals. Thanks to their sharper senses as animals, they involuntarily overheard their conversation from the outside.

As the new familiar, Garuda was a bit skeptical. "Brother. Do you think this is fine?"

"What fine?" Xolotl casually asked as if it were not a big deal.

"I’m talking about that goddess. She must be planning to use her summoner to benefit from our summoner’s karma." Garuda explained.

"I’m sure she is." Xolotl nodded in agreement.

"Then..." Garuda wanted to stop her from influencing her. This way, his summoner wouldn’t be in trouble either.

"But that is fine." Xolotl shrugged. "I think this is the best outcome."

"What do you mean?" Garuda tilted his head in confusion.

"Our summoner can lie or something, but he regards ’agreements’ in the highest rank. He has promised his women that he won’t have more than 10 human wives. We’re not counting the number of familiars, since I’m sure you already understand what we are right now."

"Yes. We are just a fragment." Garuda nodded. "Even if we copulate with another being in this world, there’s no way to be pregnant. That’s why we can indulge ourselves as long as our summoner is still alive."

"Indeed." Xolotl nodded. "He already has eight wives apparently. The ones on this continent are Evelyn, Bella, and Luna. Back home, there are Selena, Serafina, Alavenya, Noelle, and Flora.

"So, that means there’s only one spot. The Regina in her mouth is not a candidate, as he has severed their relationship before it even begins.

"That leaves only Vivian. Rather than bringing someone unknown home, I prefer to bring someone I know who has proven themselves to be capable.

"So, I personally don’t mind if this can end up making their relationship progress."

Garuda couldn’t believe what he had just heard. "But didn’t you hear it earlier? They are master and disciple."

"Well, our moral values are different. While I don’t completely agree with that Gaia, I do hear something from little Fen Fen."

"You mean Fenrir?"

"Yes. Little Fen Fen told me that Nathan once lied to her, so Vivian told him that if he lied to her one more time, she would sever their master and disciple relationship. She is the type of person who prefers not to be told anything rather than getting lied to. So, one lie is all they need to progress their relationship."

"..." Garuda blinked his eyes a few times. "So, do you think..."

"It’s fine if that woman wants to take advantage of their relationship. Although I’m not entirely sure about it, our summoner might have lived so many times."

"What do you mean?"

"The stench of death is particularly bad around him. Although it’s true that our summoner has transmigrated from our home planet to this one, that kind of stench could only appear after he has died thousands... no, tens of thousands of times..."

"But he doesn’t look like someone who has done such a thing."

Xolotl shrugged. "That’s true. He might not have any memories of it, but it’s clear that he has experienced such a thing. We just don’t know the entire circumstances."

Garuda thought for a moment. "So, we let her be?"

"Yes. Even if she wants to take advantage of him, it will be a small amount. It’s just like a drop in a bucket for him." Xolotl smiled. "So, we will take advantage of her instead. I don’t want strangers because that kind of person might have other intentions..."

"I see. Since it’s going to happen, choose the path that doesn’t have much loss."

"Exactly." Xolotl nodded. "Besides, I have high expectations of our summoner. He might be able to handle that arrogant woman by himself. But before that, we will just keep an eye on her like this."

"I don’t mind that. It looks like you really do have such high expectations of him." Garuda was a bit impressed. "If that’s so, why don’t you tell him about the power of rules and gradually build his divinity?"

"Not yet." Xolotl shook his head. "While the power of rules is good, he has two elements. Hence, it’s best for him to complete his domains first."

"I don’t understand."

"He has two domains. The first domain has been completed, but the second domain is almost completed. I know how hard it is to create a domain after possessing a divinity, so it’s better to complete his domain first before strengthening it with the power of rules."

"I see." Garuda thought for a moment. "You sound as if his domains are somewhat special."

"What can I say?" Xolotl smiled wryly. "His first domain is rather natural. It is versatile and quite powerful. He hasn’t mastered it completely yet, but I have high hopes for it.

"However, after hearing the concept of the second domain, it’s probably the first time a mortal impressed me so much to the point where I think he will surpass me and it might not be so bad to regard him as my master."

"What? Even for someone like you?" Garuda gasped.

"Yeah."

"What is the concept of his second domain? I become curious now." Garuda thought if it truly impressed him, he would become Nathan’s mount right away.

"Mhmm..." Xolotl had a smug smile on his face.

"Come on, Brother. Don’t tease me."

Xolotl looked down, his eyes landing on the pot. "What is that?"

"Do you want a drink? This is the nectar of immortality. For a being like us, it’s nothing but a delicious wine." Garuda winked playfully.

"Sure." Xolotl raised his hand, forming a cup with pure energy.

Garuda poured it for him, and Xolotl first smelled it. With a smile on his face, he drank it in one gulp. "This is delicious."

"I know, right? So how about telling me the second domain? I will pour you another one."

"Fine, fine. But don’t tell anyone about this. If he can master this domain, he might go toe-to-toe with that being who governs the space and time on their side... No, he might even surpass that guy." Xolotl raised his head. "The domain name is..."

Garuda froze upon hearing it. It was no wonder Xolotl regarded him that high.

While they were immersed in their discussion, Vivian had already approached Nathan with resolute eyes.

"Do you mind if we talk a bit? Privately?"
